The property was in a perfect location, walking distance to a great beach spot and close to restaurants, shops, etc.. Very clean home with beautiful decks to relax on. We had a great trip!
We lived the little cabin and the beach area! House was perfect for our family- the boys (4 and 7) loved it. Nice BBQ and outside eating area. Great location, and good communication from the host. We’ll be back!
Property was comfortable, clean and well maintained. Located in the trees, on a quiet street, short walk to lake. We had three adults in the main house, and two adults (a couple) in the guesthouse. The evaporative coolers kept both houses cool through a major heat wave in early July. Communication with hostess was great. Would stay here again.
This property was exactly as described in the listing. There was plenty of room for 5 adults to spread out and have space. The main house and guest house house stayed cool even in the 100° July weather. The proximity to the lake was perfect and most of the time we had the neighborhood beach to ourselves. The kitchen was well stocked for fixing meals. We are already talking about our next trip to Bass Lake and staying at the Yellow Lake house.

We had to contact our host as the bunkbeds had popcorn in them and bedding was not clean. She had to contact her cleaning service to come out to reclean the house. We weren’t expecting a swap cooler to cool the whole house which was in the living room.
The Lake house is very cute, sleeps several and really enjoyed how it had a separate back house so we could spread out. Lots of parking was a perk because we had a couple of cars, truck and boat. Porch area had a decent view of the lake and we enjoyed having a barbecue and game night, however, outside furniture was dirty and dated, not the most comfortable but did the job. Overall the location was great and the house accommodated our family. The only down side was the house could be a bit cleaner inside and out. No dishwasher and only one kitchen towel. Also, no washer and dryer. Our host Jacqueline communicated very well and quickly.

Decent place near Bass Lake
Check in was challenging because I had little cell phone service there and I hadn’t downloaded the information, so make sure you save info about the key before you leave. You will have to drive if you want a good swimming area (on the other side of the lake) unless you don’t mind swimming in the 30’ between other people’s slips. Because the outside was not swept or blown (and the guest house has a messy tree right outside that you walk under), we tracked yucky stuff inside immediately. So I could not tell if the floor was clean when we got there. I recommend taking shoes off at the door if you stay here. Also there were no wash cloths on the property. Everything else was acceptable.
Cute, cozy house with detached 2nd house. We had 2 families and it was perfect for our families. The house is located a short walk to the lake and short drive to the Pines Village.
The Yellow Lakehouse is a perfect getaway in the woods. The house was beautiful, clean and super comfy. The back house was perfect for the teens! We thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of our stay. Jacqueline is an amazing hostess and was so helpful. I would 100% recommend this place to stay. Easy access to the lake, short walk to the Village, well stocked house and super kind hostess. Perfect! Thank you.
We enjoyed staying here with our family! Our teenagers stayed in the guest house and loved it. Enjoyed the patios and the A/C cooler was fantastic during the heat wave. We also enjoyed going to the private beach area which is very nice and clean. Would love to stay again!
The cabin was perfect for our group. Myself, husband and our grand daughter (18 months) stayed in the main cabin then our two teens stayed in the addition. The location is very convenient, flip flop walking distance to a private sandy beach and a short 3 minute drive to the village.
The owners were VERY easy to talk with and we got timely help with any issues that arose.
This was our second year staying at this property and we have no complaints.
This was the perfect house by the lake for my family. We had lots of space and the house was simply decorated and very well stocked with cooking equipment, dishes and towels. The beds were very comfortable. The house cools off quickly with the whole house fan/cooler. Check in and check out procedures were very simple. One thing to know is that the house is located about 500 feet from a cute little beach and small boat launch area. It is at the top of a hill and takes a little bit of effort to walk back up after a day on the lake. (If it's too much, you could always drive it.) Although, my kids (10, 12, & 14) had no issue with the hill climb and enjoyed trying the wild blackberries along the road. Thanks for a great stay. We hope to be back next summer!
The owner was very helpful. The cabin was exactly what I expected. The additional spare house was perfect for the kids. They had their own space and patio. The cabin IS located to the lake and is a short walk to a private sandy beach.
