The house is located in a hamlet called 'Los Llanos' in a very quiet place 0.5 km from the town of Fataga. The town is located in a valley at an altitude of 600 meters, with a mild climate most of the year, surrounded by mountains with a maximum altitude of 1100 meters. and at a distance of only 18 km from Playa del Inglés. It is a rugged landscape with a variety of Macaronesian flora and Canarian fauna. The Valley has a maximum length of 10 km and an average width of 2 km in it, there are many paths for hiking up to 1000 meters. high, it crosses from south to north a road that reaches Tejeda and the highest point of the island (Los Pechos) with an altitude of 1956 meters. and at a distance of 40 km from Fataga. It also has a medical service (3 days a week), Supermarket, Gas station, three restaurants and an ATM. Sports climbing enthusiasts can practice it next to the Fataga Dam 5 minutes from the town.

Comfort in the mountains

This home was beautiful and well equipped, although the street approaching it was messy and uninviting. The village had some nice shops and a few restaurants but only one open after 5 pm. The views were awesome from the twisty roads and lots of hiking trails.

We felt immediatly wellcomed with wine, fruit and more in the fridge. Everything is there to make your stay comfortabel. Also friendly communication with the host. We recommend format.

My partner and I had a lovely stay in this fantastic property set in the mountains of Gran Canaria. The property was just as shown in the photos and included everything you needed to self-cater for our weeks stay. Both the owners of the property and the local residents are friendly and helpful, even with our limited Spanish and their limited English we managed just fine. The almond biscuits from the bakery in the village are to die for. The scenery is stunning and the property was ideally situated for trips either to the North or South of the Island. You do need nerves of steel at first on the road in as it is very bendy, but by the end of the week we got the hang of it. We would highly recommend a stay at this property and a visit to the area especially if you are into walking or cycling. Thank you to Blanca and Alfodo for letting us stay in such a lovely place.

Eine Finca mit besonderem Charme

Eine wunderbare Unterkunft hat uns in Fataga erwartet.Wir haben es keinen Augenblick bereut, die kleine Finca von Adolfo zu mieten. Zur Begrüßung hatte er uns den Kühlschrank mit Wein, Bier und Obst gefüllt. Weil es am Anfang sehr heiß war, waren wir dankbar gut funktionierende Airconditioner zu haben. Auch sonst ist das Haus bestens ausgestattet. Auch der Ort Fataga hat uns gut gefallen. In einer halben Stunde ist man mit dem Auto in Maspalomas, kann hier bestens einkaufen und das Strandleben genießen. Nach einem Tag mit viel Trubel sind wir immer wieder gern in unsere Finca in Fataga zurückgehrt. Hier war es ruhig und noch richtig "spanisch".

Gutes Haus in schöner Lage

Ein kleines Haus mit typisch canarischer Einrichtung. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen im Gebirge, gute Restaurants in der Nähe. Zum Meer ist es auch nicht weit und auf dieser Straße sind nur 2 Kurven, die vielleicht nicht so angenehm sind. Der Rest ist gut zu fahren

Ett mycket bra boende

Ett bra boende på en lugn gata med mycket vackra omgivningar. Huset är fullt utrustat för ett bekvämt boende och egen hushåll under längre tid. I byn finns också några restauranter som också är värda besök. Vi har bott här i nio veckor och inte haft några problem i huset under den tiden. En gång i veckan har har vi fått hjälp med städning. Läget är perfekt som utgångspunkt för vandringar i de omgivande bergen. Finns utmärkta leder av olika längd som alla bjuder på fantastiska utsikter. Vi har haft många fina upplevelser under våra vandringar. Byn Fataga har bra bussförbindelser så hyrbil är inte nödvändigt. Vi fick ett varmt välkomnande med fyllda fruktfat och vin. Kontakten med hyresvärden har varit mycket bra och och vi har hela tiden fått ett positivt bemötande. Vi kan varmt rekommendera detta boende!

Ruhe in idyllischem Bergdorf

Wir haben 3 Januarwochen im urigen Fataga verbracht. Don Adolfo, der Besitzer der komfortablen Unterkunft war sehr aufgeschlossen, korrekt und großzügig. Bei der Ankunft war der Kühlschrank gefüllt und auf dem Tisch standen Wein, inseltypisches Gebäck und viel Obst aus dem eigenen Garten. Auch während des Aufenthalts war Adolfo stets bemüht, uns vieles zu zeigen und den Urlaub unvergesslich zu machen. Weil Fataga in den Bergen liegt, ist es merklich kälter als die Strandregion. Im Januar wird das Haus nicht von der Sonne beschienen, besitzt aber eine Heizung. Wir hatten während der gesamten Zeit einen Mietwagen, mit dem wir die ganze Insel erkundet haben. Dafür ist Fataga eine gute Ausgangsbasis. Auch konnten wir in der ländlichen Umgebung viele Spaziergänge machen und Kontakte mit Nachbarn und Dorfbewohnern aufnehmen. Zum Abschied haben wir noch eine wunderschöne Lithographie geschenkt bekommen, die Don Adolfo selbst gefertigt hatte. Sie ziert jetzt unser Schlafzimmer und wird uns immer an den unvergesslichen Urlaub in Fataga erinnern. Monika und Horst aus Nideggen, Eifel

The apartment was furnished and decorated to a high standard It was very comfortable and contained everything we could want for a very pleasant 8 week stay and more...Being german I enjoyed the german tv via cable. Vanessa the utterly charming manager came once a week to exchange bedlinen and towels and clean floor and surfaces, a service for a holiday flat, we had not experienced before Really marvellous was the fact, that many wonderful walks were accessible right from the house without needing a car The air condition was great in hot weather, Some beautiful neighbourhood cats came visiting when we left the gate to the yard open but stayed away when the gate was closed

Excelente ubicación para hacer escalada y excursiones por la zona. Los propietarios Adolfo y Blanca encantadores y nos obsequiaron con diferentes frutas ecológicas de su campito y repostería navideña casera, exquisitas!!! Y la casita es perfecta para parejas!!! Todo perfecto! Muchas gracias!!!
