Located Starland which is the southernmost neighborhood in the historic part of Savannah. This is where the best local restaurants in town are located and you won't find tour buses. Back In The Day Bakery, Two Tides Brewery, The Atlantic, Elizabeth's, Cotton and Rye, and LaScala , El Coyote, Starland Café, Green Truck Pub, The Vault and more are all very short walks. It's a 5 min Uber to Riverstreet, but too far to walk. It's a long walk or a short bike ride to Forsyth Park.
Cleaning Precautions: After each guest checks out, we have professional housekeepers clean each vacation home from top to bottom with disinfectant, wiping down all surfaces and floors. All towels and linens are professionally laundered and individually vacuumed packed until needed. When the housekeepers are complete a member of our team inspects the home, using gloves and/or disinfectant wipes, to ensure nothing was missed and restock any cleaning supplies. We strive to provide the most comfortable environment for your stay.

The only feedback I would give is being specific about the dedicated parking for a compact car only. Also, it is near train tracks and can be very loud. Otherwise, everything was great!
We stayed here this past weekend for a race in Savannah and had a good overall experience. The house was very clean, beds were comfortable with fresh linens, and the kitchen was well stocked with essentials like pots, pans, a coffee maker, filters, and even creamer. The location was also a big plus—close to Forsyth Park and within reach of great dining and coffee spots. The main thing to note is that the home is smaller than expected for a group of six. The living room doesn’t have enough seating for everyone to comfortably gather, and there isn’t a proper dining table—only a small table with two chairs—so it was difficult for all of us to sit and eat together, especially since we had planned a pre-race dinner at the house. The bedrooms also don’t have dressers, only closets with hangers, which made it a bit challenging to unpack. As mentioned in the listing, the train does pass early in the morning (around 6 a.m.) and is quite loud. The neighborhood felt generally safe, but at times a bit uneasy for walking, especially if it were a smaller group.Overall, this is a clean, well-located place and worked well for our trip, but it may be better suited for smaller groups or those not planning to spend much time dining or gathering inside.

Thanks for the kind rating and review! We hope to host y’all again soon.
This house was walkable to things in the area we wanted to do, Graveface Records and Two Tides Brewery. It was also 1/2 block from the bus stop for the free bus to go to River Street. This upstairs unit was warm in the afternoon, a common problem in the south. It was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed.
The unit was as described. The property provided easy access to Starland attractions and was easy to drive to others. We would book again when in Savannah!
It was a great location spot for my quick birthday trip. It was our 1st time in Savannah. The house and with noise machine which were needed for the 7 am trains. Beautiful home.

The house is so cute and easy to Uber everywhere we wanted to go. Small complaints, no shower caddy in the one shower, the balcony needed chairs and the front door was very difficult to open.
We would absolutely stay here again and even loved the train!
This location was very nice, a straight shot to Tybee Island or to River Street. The house was beautiful and rooms were spacious. Not tons of room for eating a meal for more than 2-3 people. There was a train track that was 15 ft from the front of the house and ran through at 6:30 AM & 9:15 AM daily. The MAIN issue that we had was the lack of kitchenware in the house. There was 1 pan, a few plates and bowls, and silverware. This needs to be outlined in the description instead of having dishes/utensils.
Overall, we would return to this property and this town! Recommended!

Good location but there were hiccups
The property was visually appealing, but as soon as we checked in we saw a cockroach crawling around. One of the showers was also unusable due to rapid flooding after turning the water on for 2 minutes, and we had 6 girls staying there so it was pretty inconvenient. We also had multiple issues using the front door lock as it wouldn’t open once we put in the code, and ended up being locked out of the apartment for at least 30 minutes one day. The loud train next to the apartment was not advertised, and it woke us up early in the morning for 2 out of the 4 mornings we were there. We were offered a very small refund amount which was nice, but had we known this would happen we probably would’ve stayed somewhere else.
This is a very pleasant place to stay. The owners have kindly left earplugs in the bedrooms for dealing with the train noise (see other reviews below.) However, we rather enjoyed having the train go by in the mornings (around 7:05am). The ceilings are high, and the bedrooms feel airy. The beds are quite comfortable. Our car fit well in the off-street parking, and we were able to share the space with our downstairs neighbors. There were enough supplies for washing up, etc. for our stay.
Below are three areas where the property lost points:
The kitchen is lovely and plenty large, but it lacks some utensils, particularly cooking knives. If you're planning on eating out a lot it's not a big problem. But there needs to at least be a good bread knife and more kitchen towels. There is plenty of room for groceries. We had to scout around for things such as bottle opener (which is dull and should probably be replaced) and tongs, etc. If all you want the kitchen for is the simplest breakfast or microwave meals, you'll be fine. If you want to do more, I'd suggest bringing your knives (and wine/bottle opener) with you.
Dining -- there is one table in the kitchen with 2 high stools. No other dining table. We did all our breakfasting in the TV room/ Other meals were away. The TV, is Roku. No local stations. We used the HDMI cable (provided) to stream shows from our laptop.
The balcony is great for watching the trains go by. Sadly, the only balcony furniture is one metal folding chair. It's not very inviting.
Communication: We called the rental company at 4:20pm on the day we arrived, just after checking (we had a few simple issues). The call went to voicemail (with the usual "our hours are...'til 5:00pm M-F"). I tried calling again at 4:40, and 5. Still no answer. Finally called the "emergency" number and got a human. Turns out they were having a meeting (during the time people are checking in, leaving no one on the phones.) They weren't able to help with our issues because each one was "up to the owner". So owner, please get balcony furniture, knives, and let people add streaming services, or better yet, get local channels.
Would we rent again? You bet! My peeves are small, and this is a nice place (my mom loved it.) Would we recommend? Yes! If you've had a big night out the trains might be an issue, but honestly, we loved them. It's a nice place in a decent location. Just be sure to follow the caveats, and you'll be fine.

Thank you so much for your kind words about your stay with us. We really appreciate the feedback and have already addressed many of the issues you brought forth. Thanks for letting us know how to make stays at Starland Grey better!
Nice upstairs condo not far from historic district of Savannah. Great for a couple but has 3 bedrooms so plenty of space for a larger group. Parking is a bit of a challenge (but it is everywhere in Savannah🙂)
This property was amazing. Literally a 2-10 minute drive from everything. It's perfectly located.
This property was awesome. It was so clean, spacious enough for our needs. It was close enough to all of the attractions, restaurants, river street and downtown. I didn't drive more than 10 minutes any where. Ample street parking. Great eats and friendly neighbors. Can't wait to go back to Savannah!!!!!
My two best friends and I stayed at the Starland Grey Upstairs flat over Easter weekend. The two bathrooms sold us on the rental, as every other property seemed to have only one. The place was clean and well kept. Several eateries, bars, and activities were within walking distance of the place. The management team was very communicative and checked on us before, during, and after our stay. The Starland Grey was a perfect getaway for 3 adults exploring Savannah for the first time. I would definitely recommend this place. I can’t wait to visit Savannah again!!
A little smaller than it looks, and the water has a funky sulfur smell but the location is great and the neighborhood while old has tons of character with fun shops and restaurants close. Definitely a historic house that gives the Savanah vibe.
We loved our trip to Savannah. This house was perfect for my husband and I as well as our daughter and some of her friends (teenagers).
It was about a mile walk to Forsyth Park which was absolutely beautiful. The girls ran in the morning to the park and back to get some exercise in. The River Street area was a short walk on the other side of Forsyth Park in which there was so much to do.
The apartment had a nice washer and dryer which we took full advantage of.
There have been some complaints from others about the train but I honestly did not notice it. It ran both mornings around 8:30 but I did not hear it any other time. The parking was great. You could enter the house from the front or back (we parked in the back, used Uber from the front when needed).
We had an awesome kitchen we used for a quick breakfast and late night snack. (I used shipt to deliver some drinks and snacks right away)
Overall, a great experience and plenty of room for a group of 5 to spread out. I would definitely stay here again.
Had a small issue with the code at check-in but the property manager was quick to reply and we were inside the unit in minutes. Train was loud as mentioned in other reviews but earplugs were provided and it only came through a couple times. Would stay again.
This property is very clean and we'll taken care of. Unfortunately the train is right next to it. You read it in all the reviews. They try their best to give you everything to make it quieter but it is a working train. It blows it's whistles all the way through town. There really is no getting away from it. Our check in was a little nerve wracking. The door code battery was dead on one of the doors so luckily the other one worked. The property manager came and fixed that next day. The book in the room was super helpful. My only item is if you provide a coffee pot. Please provide a filter so we don't have to purchase filters. Little pet peeves of mine but no knock on them. It is very centrally located and easy to get to everywhere. Thanks for providing this place! We giggled at the train as it went by. Thank goodness we wake up some what early.
Our daughter was married at Victory North, so the location was amazing. The property is bright, comfortable and well maintained. There are 3 King/Queen beds, yet only a 3 seater couch and one easy chair. Also, I wish they had mentioned in the listing the proximity to the train tracks. All in all we had a fabulous time.
This flat in Thomas Square was roomy enough for our party of 4, 2 adults and 2 teens. This was our first time visiting Savannah. We were thrilled that the location was perfect for our trips out to Tybee Island, Wormsloe and to the Historic District. I read previous reviews commenting on the train, we did not find this to be a problem. I think it may have even added a bit to the stay.
I will comment on the parking, it can be tight, both on the street and in the rear of the property. We drove a full size truck and were only able to park in the units parking spots for 2 days out of our 7 day stay. This was because the lower unit apparently had no one occupying it. The spaces are truly for 2 compact vehicles, and not many people drive those these days. There is street cleaning that occurs on Wednesday and Thursday so the street parking becomes limited. We do not know where we would have parked if the lower unit was occupied. This is something to keep in mind. Overall, this flat is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay and visit to Savannah and will visit again.
I brought my girls down for a weekend of soccer, shopping, and fun. I am not used to parking on the street, but it was fairly easy to find a spot near the apartment every time! Great location! The fire alarm battery was having issues, but they came right over to fix it the first time.

Rachel, Thank you for giving us a chance! I am happy to hear that the battery issue was resolved immediately and you were able to adjust the the parking fairly well. We hope to have your family back soon!
Great house but 30 feet away from an active train that runs several times a day. Wish I would have known. Regardless, nice house and run by great people.
