About this property

Cozy and comfortable wooded cabin

This property is located in the heart of Alta in a quiet wooded setting. It is a great base for hiking, fishing and skiing in the Tahoe basin. It is 30 minutes from Boreal Ski resort and 45 min from Truckee. We have a huge deck with a BBQ, great for relaxing while having a cup of coffee, or just visiting with family and friends. Plenty of room around the property for the kids and a fire pit to enjoy at night. There is also access to a community pool in Dutch Flat 5 minutes away. This cabin was built in 2010 as my parents summer home and has all the comfort and conveniences. Owners live on site in the separate main house.

Our stay was wonderful from start to finish. This was our second stay here, and definitely not our last. The cabin was clean, peaceful, and well maintained, making it a perfect place to relax. Being close to the freeway was also a big plus, providing peace of mind and an easy escape in case of bad weather. The hosts were fantastic and very welcoming and caring. Highly recommended!

This cabin was more than just a place to stay, it felt like a little portal tucked into the woods, holding space for stillness, warmth, and presence. My friends and I spent the weekend here for my bfs birthday, and it was exactly what we needed. Cozy cabin

This cabin was absolutely amazing! It was extremely clean, very well stocked in the kitchen, and had all the streaming services on the TV the kids could ask for! The view in the morning looking out into the forest was stunning. The cats that greeted us upon arrival made us feel like we were at home. I would highly recommend this place and would love to stay again.

Cozy Perfect Ski Weekend

Wonderful spot - worked perfectly for a family ski trip, a quick 30 minute drive up to Royal Gorge and Sugar Bowl. The cabin was spotless when we arrived, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen is very well equipped. Our hosts were kind and accommodating and we loved staying in the quiet forest at the end of the road. We'll be back!
