Located in the historical center of Lisbon, our 75 sqm, sunny, second floor apartment sits in a traditional and well kept building.
It has been completely renovated and refurbished in January 2018, and decorated with an eye for detail.
It comprises a lobby, a spacious and always sunny living-room/dining area.
There are 2 bedrooms with double beds, and a convertible sofa bed in the living-room that sleeps 2 guests.
There is also a small bedroom that we did not include in the description as it is quite small. There is a convertible sofa bed in this one that sleeps one (can come in handy for a kid or for friends who don't want to share a bed).
The kitchen is fully equipped : Large fridge/freezer, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, boiler, toaster and all the kitchen ware needed to cook a great meal for everybody.
The bathroom has a large shower and a constant supply of hot water. Comes in handy for a group of friends or a big family!
Fast WiFi, cable television and laundry/ironing facilities.
There is a washing machine and a dryer you can use.
Bed linen and towels are provided.
We are a French/Australian family and love to spend time here whenever we can, and we designed and equipped this apartment as our own. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we do!
The Santos o Velho / Madragoa neighboorhood is located in Lisbon historical center and is close to major tourist attractions.
To help you picture it, it's 50 meters from the French Embassy and a short stroll for the Parliament (worth a visit!).
The Museum of Arte Antiga is also around, and we recommend it's beautiful garden that offers an amazing view of the river (best kept secret : you don't have to pay the entry of the museum to enjoy it, and you can go there and enjoy a coffee while reading your favourite magazine or improving your Portuguese with Duolingo).
It's a hip and pleasant part of Lisbon, lively and full of cool restaurants and bars, but not overwhelmed with tourists.
Madonna is our new neighbour (she has just moved in a palace) and she is the talk of the town!
The famous Bairro Alto and it's nocturnal life are only a 10 minute walk, Principe Real is a 15 minute walk.
You can catch the trams 28 and 25 down our street.
The Tagus river is a 15 minute walk.
