La Teresina SalentoSealovers - Villa overlooking the sea with private pool

Villa La Teresina in Salento Sealovers is located in the heart of the enchanting Marina Serra a few km from the renowned Santa Maria di Leuca.
The swimming pool (7x3 h 1.20) in an elevated position above the sea level offers guests the opportunity to enjoy an incredible panoramic view.
La Teresina is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The style is typical of Salento with a beautiful stone pajara in which there is an equipped kitchen with sea view, two double bedrooms, air conditioned and served by two complete bathrooms with shower.
Immediately below a few meters, separated from the rest of the house, a third double bedroom with private bathroom and sea view.
Also room used as a laundry room with the third bathroom.

The outdoor spaces are equipped with all comforts: outdoor kitchen, piano bar, sofas with soft cushions, tables and chairs, deckchairs, sun loungers and umbrellas, ROCKING, solarium and outdoor shower convey a sense of full rest and allow you to enjoy the spectacular panorama.
In addition to the view, what makes La Teresina unique is the large degrading garden overlooking the sea with an equipped outdoor kitchen and a large barbecue, which offer the possibility of organizing outdoor lunches and dinners.

Access to the nearest sea is in Marina Serra where there are splendid natural pools carved into the rock. From the villa it is not possible to go into the water because it overlooks the sea.

We recommend to pack:
- absolutely: mask and fins!
- rock shoes to venture out and dive and swim from the cliffs
- a rock mattress (e.g. like those for doing YOGA) to lie comfortably everywhere to sunbathe.
- trekking or gym shoes
... and a long skirt and sandals to dance the pizzica!

60 steps to heaven

When you descend the 60 steps you arrive in ‘heaven’. The location is superb and all you can hear are the sea and birds. One bedroom leads off the kitchen, one off the terrace, with an interconnecting door between them. Sun beds needed replacing, otherwise it would have got 5 stars.

La Teresina Salento is even more beautiful in person!

Could not be happier with our stay at La Teresina Salento. I knew we could expect breathtaking views of the sea and cliffs, but I was really struck by how unique and charming the property was. The landscape was like something out of a fairytale. The home is well-appointed, tasteful, and very comfortable. High-quality, artful details throughout. None of it was lost on us! We loved the pool and the outdoor kitchen, of course. Grazie mille, Livia, for being so responsive and for all the local insight and recommendations. We highly recommend this spot!

The view and location cannot be better, really wonderful !! Parking is on main street but with a "normal" car no problem. The house is small, we actually didn't see the third room, but kitchen and bathrooms are very nice and the kitchen is well equipped. There is even a European filter coffee maker :)) Our double bed was quite hard, for those who look for comfy couches, TV and soft mattresses this is not the right place. But if you enjoy just peace and nature, and the best sea-view this is your place. (beware of the wasps at breakfast al fresco) Livia's recommendations on restaurants are excellent. Here are our recommendations for low season in middle of October #1 farmacia dei sani Ruffano (degustation menu €35 but highly recommended) #2 taverna del porto in Tricase Porto #3 la Ficarigna in Specchia #4 Trattoria Iolanda Lucugnano excellent wine selection call if restaurants are open in October, a lot of restaurants are just open then on weekends :( we highly recommend the Conad supermarket in Lecce Cavallino excellent sushi there is a Tuesday market in Tricase close to Lama Supermarket Enjoy Puglia and Livia's house, we loved it. October 2017 temperatures 24-25°C

Unglaublich schön angelegt, in echt noch besser als auf den Fotos. Uneingeschränkter Meerblick ohne Dächer oder Nachbarn, die man sieht. Sauberkeit top und Einrichtung alles funktionsfähig (Herd, Backofen, Klimaanlagen, Kaffeemaschine, usw). Highlight für uns die Lounge, die Außenküche und der morgendliche Blick aufs Meer, direkt aus der Küche. Wir würden es wieder buchen.

Haus am Fels

Ein wunderschönes Haus. Der Blick aufs Meer, egal zu welcher Tageszeit…traumhaft!!! Luigi kommt um den Pool zu reinigen. Ein sehr lieber Mensch, der einem gern ( mit Händen und Füßen 😉) seine geliebte Küste beschreibt. Kommt früh morgens um nicht zu stören. Livia hat uns freundlich empfangen. Es sind nur ein paar Minuten nach Porto Trecase. Dort kann man schön sitzen, essen und trinken. Unser Lieblingsrestaurant, L‘ Oltremare! Auch zu den Stränden oder Leuca sind St es nicht weit. Also, alles wirklich wunderbar🤗

Alles war wie angekündigt, wie die Fotos zeigen, sehr schön! Wir haben das Haus mit seiner Umgebung sehr genossen. Auch die Übergabe klappte sehr gut. Das einzige, was ich beanstande ist: Man hätte mir sagen müssen, dass der Zugang zum Haus cirka 60 Treppenstufen hat, besonders da ich noch extra nachgefragt habe, da 2 Personen nicht allzu gut Treppen steigen können.

wonderful views and superb hospitality

We stayed here for a week in late May and just the view would have been enough. The pictures do not prepare you for walking round the corner for the very first time - quite spectacular. This is a property made for living outside with a pool, outdoor kitchen, bbq and a garden full of herbs. We were slightly out of season but Livia made sure that anything we needed was catered for including recommending local restaurants as well as calling ahead to arrange pick up and drop off from the friendly chef when we wanted to go out for dinner - taxis are not so common around here at this time of year. All in all we would very much recommend the house and the area for anyone wishing to explore the wonders of puglia

Als erstes müssen wir uns herzlich bei Livia, der Verwalterin bedanken. Von der Buchung bis zur Abwicklung war alles super. Livia hatte viele tolle Vorschläge für uns, über Touren bis Restaurants hat sie etliches zusammengestellt. Als ein Regentag angesagt war, schrieb sie uns sofort eine WhatsApp mit einem Vorschlag . Sie spricht super Englisch und hatte immer ein offenes Ohr und war sehr hilfsbereit. Danke Livia 😘 Nicht zu vergessen Luigi, der regelmäßig sich um den Pool und Garten kümmerte. Mangels unserer Itslienischkenntnisse konnten wir uns nur mit Händen und Füßen unterhalten Wir haben uns immer gefreut ihn zu sehen. Das Grundstück ist riesig und fällt steil bis zum Meer ab, bewachsen mit Pflanzen und Bäumen. Vom Garten und der Terrasse aus hat man einen 180 Grad Blick über das Meer und am Abend sieht man die Lichter von Tricase Porto auf der Landzunge. Zum Abend geht automatisch die Garten-und Terrassenbeleuchtung an, was das Anwesen noch zauberhafter erscheinen lässt . Die Außenküche haben wir oft genutzt, besonders an heißen Tagen ist sie ideal, immer mit dem Blick übers Meer, den man aber auch beim Kochen aus der Küche hat. Wir haben 3 Wochen dort verbracht und etliche tolle Ausflüge in die schönen historischen Städte unternommen oder in die kleinen Buchten zum Schwimmen oder sehr schön auch der lange Sandstrand von Torre Mozza mit dem schönen Strandrestaurant Lido Mania😋 Wir waren im schönsten Stiefelabsatz der Welt. 😉

Sommertraum in Süditalien

Wir - 6 Personen (3 Generationen) und unserem Hund Emma durften in diesem wunderschönen Haus 15 wundervolle und sehr entspannte Tage verbringen!!! Der schriftliche und auch persönliche Kontakt mit Livia war sehr positiv ! Luigi kümmerte sich sehr engagiert um den Pool und den Garten und war immer bemüht , uns nur ja nicht zu stören! Die Depandance mit eigenem Bad und Zugang vom Garten war perfekt für unsere ältere Tochter und Ihren Freund. Unser Hund Emma konnte ausgiebig im riesigen terassenförmig angelegten Garten stromern und wir die geniale Terasse mit Bar/ Kühlschrank / Aussenküche und Pool genießen !! Der Blick auf's Meer - auch von der Küche aus - ist kaum zu toppen ! Fazit - absolut empfehlenswert ! Selbst ein benachbarter Blitzeinschlag (Ausfall Beleuchtung Wasserpumpe Kühlschrank etc..) konnte Livia und Ihr Superteam nicht aus der Fassung bringen!! Innerhalb von einem Tag wurde eine neue Wasserpumpe, eine kpl. neue Aussenbeleuchtung und eine nagelneue Waschmaschine montiert- sensationell!!! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder- nächstes mal aber länger!!!

Un séjour parfait

Nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine dans cette maison. La vue est superbe, la terrasse ,la piscine et le jardin parfaits. Nous avons découvert une vue a couper le souffle avec une piscine non prevue. Tout est propre et protégé des moustiques par des moustiquaires. La maison est fonctionnelle et confortable. Le jardin magnifique. Nous nous sommes beaucoup baignés dans les rochers visibles de la terrasse (2 mn en voiture). Les conseils et adresses de Livia tres judicieux pour les restos, les excursions en bateau, les choses et lieux a voir. De très belles vacances. Nous retournerons surement dans cette maison et la conseillons en tout point

Wonderful stay with amazing views.

Amazing outside area with even more amazing views. This place is meant to be lived outside. The inside area is small and consists of a kitchen and two bedrooms. Livia, the property manager, was very helpful and a small issue was resolved very quickly. The only reason we gave it 4 stars is that we unpleasantly surprised by the fact that we had to pay 20 euros per person for bed linens and towels (and this did not include towels for the pool). However would still recommend this property to anyone.

La Teresina ... indimenticabile

Breve ma splendido soggiorno in un autentico Paradiso. Un luogo magico dove vivere pace e natura come difficilmente accade. Spazi grandissimi, bellezza e tranquillità da godersi in un emozionante contesto ed in una struttura dotata praticamente di tutto e capace di un’incantevole suggestione. Ringrazio Livia che, con assoluta professionalità e gentilezza, c’ha permesso non un semplice soggiorno ma un’autentica ed indimenticabile esperienza. Sono stato “catturato” dalle foto ma, nonostante siano belle e assolutamente reali, dal vivo si viene letteralmente rapiti dal luogo.

The villa is situated in a glorious garden - terraces of olive, fig, apricot, pine and palm trees and cacti and oleander - with a magnificent view of the sea. The villa is well equipped and very efficiently managed. The nearby town of Tricase is charming.

Great location to visit Puglia, but difficult to leave the house as the view is too nice. Great support from Livia to find local shops for vegies an fruits, pasta, burrata etc. We did enjoy every second of the week. Great kitchen and bbq outside.
