Private Mountain Cabin with Luxury Comfort - Peaceful Escape & Big Sky Views
Your Private Luxury Mountain Retreat - Peaceful, Refined, and Beautifully Comfortable
If you're dreaming of silence, mountain air, starry skies, and space to breathe, this is your place. Our cabin is tucked peacefully away from traffic and tourism noise, offering a private Montana mountain retreat where you can truly unwind. Wake up to wide-open sky and wildlife moving through the landscape, spend your days exploring Yellowstone, and come home to comfort, calm, and warmth.
This 1,040 square ft log cabin, built in 2019, is located in the old mining town of Jardine, just 5.5 miles up a county maintained dirt road from Gardiner, Montana - and worth all fifteen minutes of the drive to get here. Cabin 1, along with our other three cabins, sits on just over 12 acres of private property that borders national forest land. You'll be hard pressed to find a more comfortable, quiet space than this one.
The old Jardine mine site is part of the beautiful and unique mountain views you'll see while you sip your morning coffee or tea from the back patio, as well as being able to see and hear Bear Creek! Soak in the spring flowers and Montana sunsets over the ridge out front. If you prefer your walks without the crowds of Yellowstone, there are also great hiking trails just a short walk from the front door. We'll leave you a can of bear spray to borrow while you're out exploring the area.

Thank you for closing our cabin for you home away from home! Come again any time!
We really loved our stay at Bear Creek Cabins! It was so perfectly private, like we had our own place in the mountains, under the beautiful stars, to visit this incredible place. The log cabin is well appointed & nicely finished with the comforts of home. Comfy beds, private bathrooms, and a great kitchen to cook (plus the grill!). The surroundings are gorgeous, seeing the creek running from the porch is so serene! The drive down to Gardiner has the most gorgeous views of the mountains. So grateful for this place, we would heartily recommend it to anyone visiting here!
Place was awesome and exactly as described. Perfect location for our short Yellowstone trip and close to the Gardiner entrance to the park. No issues & we would stay here again.

Thank you for the feedback! We hope to see you up here again in the future!
One of the nicest cabins we’ve ever stayed in. From decorating to amnesties, couldn’t ask for more. Location was perfect. Close to town but 4 plus miles up a secluded road up the mountain. Was the perfect distance from town, right outside the National Park gate. We ate out some nights and stayed in cooked others. Can’t say enough good things about this property. We will definitely be staying here again when back in the area.
Property location is excellent. Cabin was clean and comfortable. Property manager was responsive to our needs. Recommend if you prefer to off the beaten path.

Thank you Mike! You and your crew are welcome back any time!
It was wonderful. The place was just perfect. We had a great time. The place was perfect in many ways, cleanliness , location and bedding. The only thing they needed were tissues, when you get there. We appreciate everything the owners did to make our time memorable. Thank you! I definitely would stay there again
