The property was amazing, the house was spotless. Ursula made us cookies nefore we arived and the house smelled of fresh cookies when walked in. She had a list of all the hiking spots and waterfalls around us. And she had compiled menus of all the resturants are, so we didn't have to look.Everything was done for us and it was wonderful. The fire pit was lovely at night. I couldnt have asked for a better wedding weekend and Ursula made it that much better. 10 stars not 5.

We had 2 wonderful separate visits to Anam Cara!! It was the perfect size for 2 adults and 1 child plus our small dog. Our son loved having access to YouTube on the TV :-) The views were amazing!! Quiet and serene in a beautiful neighborhood. Fresh baked cookies and bottle water upon arrival was nice. Comfortable beds, coffee and the mountains in the mornings! Great stay and highly recommended.

This was a fabulous place to stay. The mountain views were spectacular, very quiet, clean, comfortable, and private. Had all the amenities we needed and the owner left delicious fresh baked bread for us. The bedroom was seperate from the living area, so my early bird husband could awake and I could sleep in undisturbed.

A Wonderful Mountain Getaway!Our four-night stay at Anam Cara in Rosman, NC, was absolutely wonderful! My wife, our dog Josie, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated with a cozy mountain theme, and had everything we needed.Ursula was amazing! From the moment we arrived, she made sure we felt welcome and comfortable. The freshly baked cookies and handwritten welcome letter were such thoughtful touches. The kitchen was fully equipped, with coffee, creamer, condiments, cold bottled water, and plenty of ice. The spacious bathroom had everything we needed, including towels and toiletries. The water pressure was excellent, too!The mountain views from the large kitchen window were breathtaking, especially with the beautiful fall colors in October. We also enjoyed the comfortable living room, Dish Network, and outdoor seating where we could relax and enjoy the scenery. The apartment stayed warm and cozy even when temperatures dropped into the 40s.What really sets this place apart is the hospitality. Ursula’s attention to detail and genuine kindness made us feel right at home. Frank and Ursula have created a wonderful place, and it’s clear they truly care about their guests.Thank you both, especially Ursula, for making our stay so memorable! If we return to this area, we will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend Anam Cara to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful, and welcoming mountain retreat!

Our family had a wonderful time during our stay at Anam Cara. Everything was exceptionally clean and we felt right at home. The views were spectacular as we were there during peak fall color time. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay again.

My husband and I (and our morkie) had a great stay! The hosts were very hospitable and welcoming, the property and the views are beautiful! Loved that there was a washer/dryer for our long stay. Will visit again.
