Enjoy a wonderful desert holiday at this beautifully renovated single-family home located in Cathedral City with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, Heated Pool, Spa, and is very pet friendly. Just 1 mile to downtown Palm Springs, a short hop to the Palm Springs International airport or the Tramway, and most important, easy access to many of the wonderful golf courses that Palm Springs is famous for. This showcase property includes a gorgeous totally private pool and spa. The back yard also includes a fully furnished patio with a sofa, two armchairs and a cocktail table as well as lounge chairs and a full patio dining area with bbq. This is a perfect luxury getaway with plenty of space to host your entire family, friends or invited guests.

The home includes a Master Suite and two guest bedroom rooms and two full bathrooms. The large master suite includes a large walk-in shower, a large walk-in closet and sliding doors leading to the resort-style patio area. The living room has cathedral ceilings, gas fireplace and includes sliding doors which open to the covered patio where you can soak in the pool and admire the mountain views. A large outdoor BBQ dining area is perfect for entertaining, and the bright, Chef's kitchen includes counter top seating for breakfast and a separate formal dining room.

All bedrooms and living room include smart-HDTV to enjoy your favorite movies or on demand TV show.
The home includes 2 car garage parking with a security garage gate as well as indoor laundry and convenient, safe direct access from the garage into the home.

The home has a bright, open floor plan with tasteful updated furnishings Safari style living decor and can easily accommodate up to 6 people, there are quen size beds in both guest rooms and a king size bed in the master bedroom.

If you are a Snowbird coming to Palm Springs for the winter, this is the perfect private estate property to spend the season. Special rates are negotiable if you will take the property for a full month during season. Special rates are also available for summer-season if the home is booked from Memorial Day through the summer.

- Currency: Rates are shown in US Dollars (US).
- A $500 security deposit is due at time of booking to hold the reservation. The security deposit, less any damage charges, will be refunded within 15 days after departure. The total balance of the rental fee is due 30 days prior to arrival. If reservation is made less than 30 days prior to arrival, the entire balance, including security deposit is due immediately.

A cleaning fee of $200 will be added to the rental fee however please note that funds must clear before arrival.

Beautiful home!

We had an amazing stay during our time! Our host was attentive and communicated with me regularly when i had questions. The home was clean, nicely decorated, convenient, roomy, and couldn't have been more perfect. We were 10-12 minutes away from Palm Springs main street, which was excellent for eating and shopping. Thank you Michel for allowing us to stay at your lovely home. We will definitely come back!!

Wonderful clean and cozy

Spent Christmas and the winter holidays here with my family. Absolutely cozy and comfortable place for six adults to stay. Great kitchen for preparing Christmas dinner and comfortable places to relax around the house. Easy access to town, the airport, and the surrounding nature.

Great location and a well stocked home away from home!

We had a great time in the Palm Springs area. Everything we could possibly need was in the home. The pool and hot tub were kept warm and there was plenty of room for everyone, including our dog) to relax. Michel was great to deal with and kept open communication. We could not ask for anything more from a host.

A great stay

We spent 3 months at Casa Safari and everything was wonderful. Michel, the host, was always available and was most generous. The house was spacious and clean. Best equipped kitchen we ever had and the pool area was perfect. It was very quiet and we enjoyed every minute.

Awesome Home in the Desert

This was my first time renting a home, but our host Michel made the entire process effortless and incredibly enjoyable. Explicit instructions were sent prior to our trip. Upon arrival, he graciously offered to have a phone call with me as I walked through the home and familiarized myself with the remote controls, lighting and pool/jacuzzi functions. I usually spend Christmas with friends and family in Arizona, but me and my friends decided to meet halfway in Palm Springs this year and everyone totally loved the property. The neighborhood is quiet and conveniently located near a grocery store. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils and other appliances, so we were able to enjoy home-cooked holiday meals, followed by relaxing times soaking in the jacuzzi or watching movies in the living room. The décor is tastefully done in an African safari mode and the furniture and beds are all comfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and I highly recommend this home to anyone who is considering a relaxing getaway in the desert.

Excellent property and owner

This property is beautiful like the pictures reveal, and the owner was wonderful to interact with--he even met us at the home to review its features when we arrived! The pool, spa, well-equipped kitchen/home were all enjoyable! Good location for day trips to local spots to visit, as well as drive to Joshua Tree National Park. The only small deterrent was windy weather, leading to sandy conditions in backyard and local area our last two days of the stay.

Perfect for Relaxing in the Desert Sun

Our stay at this property was outstanding. The house includes all amenities advertised, the backyard is the perfect size for our family of 4, including two teenagers who love to swim. The pool and spa are perfect for cooling off from the sun, while warm and cozy for nighttime swimming. Inside the kitchen had all of the amenities to prepare meals, including an outdoor grill. Overall the house is located in a quiet neighborhood, convenient to drive to Palm Springs, Palm Desert and the surrounding area in just a few minutes. The airport is a short 10 minute drive. Thanks to Michel for providing an outstanding, quality home for vacationers to the Coachella Valley.

A+ experience - couldn't have been better! Very highly recommend for short or long term stays

We stayed at Michel's beautiful home for just over 3 months, and it was just perfect! The house itself is equipped with everything you need, is spacious, and well maintained. The outside is just wow! - you have a full sized pool and jacuzzi (both can be heated), and an extension of the living area with three different sitting areas (its huge!). The house is well situated in Cathedral City - supermarket/coffee down the road, 12 min from downtown and to the airport. Super safe location, we never had an issue - neighbors were very friendly. Michel was the best host - he really has thought about everything for this property, and is very pleasant and easy to communicate with. We had such a great time staying here - lots of memories made, and we will be sad to leave!

Awesome home

This house was everything we wanted it to be and more! It was clean and very nicely decorated. The kitchen is big and has everything a chef could need. The furniture is comfortable. And it is pet friendly and our girls loved the yard! I would love to tell you about the neighborhood, but we barely left the house ;)

Beautiful Yard and a Fantastic Retreat

This house is a good size, with a decent layout. The bathrooms are both nice and were clean. The kitchen is extremely well stocked. We pretty much cook all of our own meals from scratch and this kitchen had everything that we needed, including a great selection of herbs and spices. The house is close to downtown Palm Springs. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe. The house was really great, but the the back yard really was spectacular. The pool isn't huge, but it is large enough to swim laps. I really appreciate the fact that the "deep end" isn't really deep and you can walk the length of the pool and keep your head above water. The lighting in the pool and spa, as well as the backyard lighting are a great touch. It made it the perfect place for a Covid retreat. I would definitely recommend this place.

Wonderful stay

The safari house was beautiful, came with all the amenities that you have at your own house, and best of all has a wondered host that is available when you need him. I would love to stay again sometime.

Lots of Positives!

Lots of room inside and out, with an enjoyable and private pool/spa and backyard. Comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen. Secure home and safe neighborhood. Convenient location with quick access to all areas around Cathedral City. Michel, the owner, communicated promptly prior to and during our stay; he quickly addressed some issues that arose. We think we were the first 'longer term' (51 days) renters of this home and did share with the owner a few improvements/additions that could be made to make a longer term renter's stay even more enjoyable. Unfortunately, we had to leave early (COVID-19) ... will definitely consider this property if we return to the Palm Springs area.
