Modern and Cozy Home with a Stream in Bushkill

Come and stay at this beautiful home located in the Pocono Mountains inside the amenity filled community of Saw Creek Estates. Our home has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a loft and located near the 'Top of the World'. All three bedrooms have their own closets to provide plenty of storage for all of your belongings.

The living room has a stone-faced fireplace with cathedral ceiling, modern sectional and flat LCD TV with cable. Attached to the living room is the full-size kitchen, with breakfast bar with seating for four. We provide you with all of the cooking and eating utensils. The dining area has seating for up to eight people (folding chairs are in the closet for your convenience). The sliding glass door will lead to the deck with a breathtaking view. While outside on the deck, you will be able to enjoy grilling and hear a creek with waterfall.

Nice home in a community having lot of amenities.

We chose this place for celebrating our Christmas with family and friends. We booked it for 2 night and 3 days. It was best experience we had, community has great amenities like indoor pool, tennis court, ski area , top hill restaurant etc. in the house there was working grill, foosball and all the necessary utensils that one would need. It is just few minutes away from Shawnee Ski area which is one of the best ski and snow tubing facility. Home owner is very generous lady and accommodate all reasonable requests. Everyone had great fun. We look forward for next vacation at Poconos and it will surely be same place. Thanks

Nothing worked

Unsafe steep front steps. My 9 year old son fell twice. Central air didnt work. TV's didn't work & with 4 kids this was a big deal. Worst part was grill was dirty, rusty & out of propane. Deck wasn't swept & deck chairs were caked in dirt. Owner told us if we could leave & get 1 day refunded even though we booked for 3 days.

Not what was expected...

Overall, our stay was fine, just not quite what we expected. We were contacted just a few days prior to check in with a large list of rules to follow and a need to return them signed in immediately. Note if your coming to the Poconos to possibly do some shooting there are no firearms allowed on the premises. Which is odd seeing you’re going to an area where hunting and hiking is much of what can be done. There are shooting ranges around but you have to rent guns since you can’t bring your own. Upon arrival we saw the stairs down to the cabin. Very steep and unsteady. They need redone. We had someone with mobility issues with us for part of our trip, so that was tricky. Those stairs were not in any of the photos. The home overall was clean, but everything in the kitchen was tacky feeling. We washed all pots and pans and wiped down the lazy Susans as dried food was in pans and on shelves. They offered to have the cleaning crew return but at that point we just took care of the cleaning. Not how we planned to start our vacation. Once we got past that, our stay was fine. The blender did not work. The pots and pans could use updated. We traveled with seven people, so we did lots of cooking. Many items were just tossed in drawers and cabinets in the kitchen. The beds are pretty low to the floor and mattresses fairly thin. The lock did not lock on the sliding glass door. The waterfall and stream outback we’re very small. The AC is not central air, but window units. Not all rooms have units, so some rooms were not comfortable temperature wise during our July visit. We did enjoy the resort area. Swimming and fishing. We liked the location relative to area attractions.

A very nice Pocono summer vacation

The house is very lovely and Yelena is great to work with. The upstairs bedrooms are very large, main floor bedrooms a little smaller. Everything needed for cooking and grilling is there, the fire pit was great for roasting marshmallows. The area is beautiful - we had fun seeing 6 deer at a time; hiking at bushkill falls, riding go karts; and miniature golf as well as swimming at their amazing community pools. One suggestion would be a shelving unit for storing our groceries. We ate most meals in and had to use the counter for storage. Also, one bedroom downstairs did not have air cond. but we were fine since weather was comfortable the week we were there.

Excellent place for relaxation

If You want spend Your vacation time in quiet, clean and safe place - this is a perfect place to do it. The biggest advantages are: -house is very clean -nice deck (you can watch deers from it if you lucky) -internet access in the house -access to the community pools and tennis courts -very quiet area - you barely notice the neighbors -small waterfall on the property House highly recommended :-)

My friends and I had a good stay

We stayed over for the July 4th weekend. It's a good stay. The house is nice and the surrounding areas are great. Property is close to main route. We went to horseback riding, bushkill falls and the Dingman's falls. The rained on Sunday 7/3 changed our plans a little bit. The local firework display was postponed. We stayed in the house and did a lots of cooking during the day. At night, we brought some fireworks and had our own firework show in a yard. It's fun. I would recommend this house and I would like to go back in the winter for my skiing trip. Plus, the owner is nice.
