Christmas in Bordueax

Our first impression was of joy seeing the Christmas tree & decorations, so very thoughtful of Xavier! The house/apartment is eclectic, colorful with art, paint, furnishings, very comfortable beds, quiet, everything you could possibly need!! Absolutely loved our stay so very much!! Thank you for sharing your wonderful home!!! PS… Laura the manager was great!!!

bien situé avec un très beau jardin

L'appartement est très bien situé, avec un accès facile au centre ville, aux transports, etc. Sa décoration et son aménagement sont assez inhabituels mais nous l'avons trouvé confortable et bien équipé (nous avons acheté -- et laissé -- une théière !). Le plus beau est le jardin, qui est un havre de verdure et de calme. L'appartement est très calme pendant la journée (idéal pour travailler ou se détendre) mais nous avons été dérangés par les voisins au dessus la nuit. Stéphanie a été très patiente lorsque notre vol a été retardé.

Séjour désagréable, mauvais rapport qualité / prix

Le plan d'étage n'est pas très pratique (la cuisine dans le couloir, une chambre avec les fenêtres vers le salon,...). Tension électrique au lave-vaisselle. Wi-Fi déplorable. Porte ne pouvait pas être fermée de l'intérieur. Éclairage étrange (très sombre, pas de lumière du jour). Appartement encombré d'un tas de trucs affreux. Par contre, le jardin avec sa terrasse était assez sympa. Bon emplacement, à proximité de Place Gambetta, et vous trouverez de beaux locaux dans la rue.

Ungewöhnliche und sehr schöne Ferienwohnung

Die Fotos, die die Vermieterin ins Netz gestellt hat, sprechen ja für sich: eine ungewöhnliche Wohnung. Sehr gut ausgestattet, für 2 Personen ein üppiges Platzangebot, ein schattiger Garten in einer interessanten Stadt, in der wir vor allem das Musée d'Aquitaine empfehlen möchten. Frau Laur ist eine charmante und bemühte Gastgeberin.

wonderful in town

A strange and great place to stay. Excellent access to everything in the center of Bordeaux. A big apt and the best part is the excellent and private space out back. It's really nice to have that in town. The rooms do have a strange layout which might bother some - and it can be dark in some spaces. The main bedroom has a pull out couch for a bed and the windows open right onto the street so it can be noisy when trying to sleep - it didn't bother me much except when the trash collectors come banging down the street after midnight (which happens.) I'd recommend this place as a hub for traveling to Medoc, to St Emilion and to Barsac / Sauternes - all of which we did easily. Note the parking is a bit of a pain - we ended up spending 90 euro for 7 days+nights of parking at the Tourny park garage - and the walk to and from to get the car was a good 10 minutes. Not terrible but also not very convenient - best you can do though right in the middle of a big city.

Location qui m'a fait bonne impression à l'arrivée, bien décorée, lumineuse, climatisée avec un très joli jardin. La gérante très agréable, professionnelle et arrangeante. Nous avons été bien accueillis. Quelques points noirs cependant : un manque de confort dans la veranda car il n'y a pas de canapé alors qu'elle fait office de salon. Le plan de l'appartement est compliqué et donc il faut faire un détour pour accéder a la cuisine. Le matelas du canapé lit n'est pas du tout confortable. C'est dommage car il ne faudrait pas grand chose de plus pour plus de confort.
