Fall Break

The house was perfect just as described in the listing. The walk to the beach was about 10 minutes which was nice. They provided several extra chairs and a wagon for your beach items. Our group of seven visit each year for Fall Break and this house did not disappoint. I would definitely stay here again!

Great location! Could use more basic necessities like trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap. Other than that, great location, great for large groups.

Great Stay

Overall loved the gated community. Peaceful walks around the ponds and down to the beach. The included beach service was such a bonus! The house has wonderful updates from pictures shown including screened porch and open deck, window shades and storm shutters. Great communication as needed.

Everything was very nice and clean. The neighborhood was very quiet and there was a security guard patrolling the streets at night. There were beach chairs as well as cornhole in the garage for us to use and the beach chair and umbrella set up was amazing. The only thing I would have liked to have seen were some kitchen necessities. For example, salt, pepper, cooking spray. These items are typically in all the past houses we have rented and have made it more convenient than purchasing for a couple days visit. However, it would not stop me from renting in the future.

Amazing vacation home!! Everything inside was perfect. Plenty of room and bathrooms for everyone. We had 10 people and we all had plenty of room. The only complaints we had was the beach access gate was alot farther than it needed to be. There was a gate at the end of our street but the gate assigned to us was a couple blocks past it. There was only one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, while we knew the property provided starter necessities, two rolls should have been provided. There was only one trash bag. The other bags were extremely small for a bathroom trash can. For the price we paid, I expected better. I feel like whoever restocks the house supplies should stock it for the party size and length of stay. Also there was no instruction on what we were to do with the dirty linens and towels when we checked out. We washed what we could but most places say to place the towels in the shower. You could really tell that the previous cleaning crew only cleaned things waist high. Anything below the knees and above your shoulders wasn’t touched.

Summer 2023

The property exceeded our expectations. Everything was clean and kitchen was fully equipped. The house was in a great location. It was less than a mile away from the beach, and close to restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping centers. Overall, the house was very family and child friendly. We will definitely be booking again next year.

Beautiful home that was just right! It was fantastically clean- which was HUGE for us. The house was just as described on the listing. The beach was a bit of a hike, which we knew, but didn’t realize how far it truly was until walking it with all of our beach gear. Definitely a perk to have beach service!

Private Oasis

First Impression was Clean and Tidy. The House is Perfect for Anyone, Family's or Couples. 4 Large Bedrooms, Each With Their Own Bathroom. The Kitchen, Dining, and Living Room Are Setup Perfectly. Family get away

We had a great time. We had unexpected death in the family and had already planned this trip prior to this. It was decided to go and go and so we did. We needed this. Great Family Stay

The Aqua Vida house has a modern kitchen. Dining area and table are spacious. We also enjoyed the covered porches. Bedrooms have their own bathrooms which is useful for families or two couples. Trees around the house create a nice setting. Beach is a 10-12 minute walk. Wagon provided makes it easy to carry items. Community pool is also nice. A few shops and restaurants are 8-15 minutes walk, depending on store. Groceries are close driving. We loved the Aqua Vida house.

Great Space

Everything was neat and new...almost too new. The dishwasher was never used and we found out that is was connected wrongly and almost caught fire with bad wires...LOL, but only thing I would add is televisions in each room. Other than that we will request the same home next year with hopefully those updates and a Golf Cart for travels.

1.) parking requirements are not logical 2.) management company/neighborhood “security detail…?” are not friendly 3.) Destin has become the vacation rental capitol….so keep that in mind There are literally thousands of accommodation rentals…if not hundreds of thousands My suggestion: visit another beach/area Too much squeeze for the juice

The house was clean, gorgeous & perfect for our entire family.More than enough room.A luxurious master bedroom & bathroom.Walking distance to the beautiful ocean & pool.We had stayed there at a different house (The Bella Mar) several years back & Aqua Vida is set up a almost exactly the same.Very nice place as well,which is the reason we came back.I love the frangista community,they don't disappoint & none of us wanted to leave.The 10 little rubber bracelets with rules above them was a little off or silly to me with this particular house but other than that & check out time,I would give it a 10

A bit of Paradise

Overall the house was as advertised. It was very clean which is a priority for us - so thank you. Please don’t let the following issues infer we didn’t like the house we did! It is beautiful, close walk to beach. It is a very nice home! Two issues: please advise that the steps are quite steep. We had a disabled person and the stairs were difficult to manage. Even the kids complained about the steepness. Next every door in the house needs oiled. You could not open a door at night without waking others! This is easily fixed. Thank you to RealJoy for being available with answers! Staff knowledgeable and very courteous! Thank you to the owner of this beautiful home for providing a place for our family to enjoy.
