Great experience! I booked my stay through Vrbo, which allowed me to avoid the resort fee and also avoid the pressure of attending timeshare sales presentations.Our room had been completely renovated and was spacious, very clean, and even had a jacuzzi. We also had a lovely view of the lake. The resort’s pools and other facilities were very well maintained. The adults-only pool, connected to the island, was especially relaxing and peaceful.The resort is huge, so having the shuttle service to get around was very convenient. The dining options on-site are somewhat limited, especially if you have food allergies such as gluten, but there are plenty of restaurants and places to eat nearby. If you have a car, this really isn’t much of an issue.Water Park is not included.Overall, I think it’s a great value for the price, and I would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful resort and very well managed. When we checked in, we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a two-bedroom suite, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The property felt more like a hotel-style resort than a typical Vrbo, with excellent amenities and attentive service.All of the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We did experience a small maintenance issue, but it was addressed and resolved the same day, which we really appreciated.Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this property to others. We would happily stay here again!

Beautiful, large room with a gorgeous view of the lake. Watching the sunset each day from the balcony was a nice treat.The bathroom get extra points for its size and functionality. Property restaurants delivered easily to my room and ubers were easy to arrange. I definitely will stay here again.

The room was spacious and comfortable with a pleasant view.

We enjoyed our time at Westgate Lakes. The walk around the lakefront is pleasant. The pools and hot tubs are relaxing. The location is great.
