This was our second time staying at Joe and Teasha’s home and we have loved both of our stays! The house is clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Best place to stay for a visit to the ocean and the redwoods. Can’t wait to come back!
We absolutely loved our stay here. The check in process was so simple & quick and the place was cozy & conveniently located. We could easily walk to the beach, a park, & dinner. Bonus was being able to see the lighthouse out the upstairs window. What a gem of a place this is!!!
Excellent cozy cottage as a base for exploring Redwoods National Park. Place was immaculate and well maintained. Hosts provided plenty of toiletries (soap, TP, towels etc). Beds were comfortable. As a nice welcome, hosts provided a bottle of wine which was a nice gesture. Highly recommend.
We loved our stay. Host were very responsive and keep the place clean. It’s a beautiful place to stay and walking distance to the beach. Highly recommend staying here!
Very cute house that has been remodeled for comfort. It's obvious the owners care about this rental and add a lot of personal touches to the place for their guests. Highly recommend this place - great location for exploring the Redwoods.
Loved our stay in this home. Perfect location for exploring Redwoods and South Oregon Coast. Very clean beautiful home. Best stocked kitchen of any vacation rental I've stayed in, and I've rented a lot of them. Every kind of small kitchen appliance, pan, baking dishes etc you would ever need to cook/bake in the kitchen. Generous amounts of paper towels, toilet paper, plastic wrap, tin foil, sandwich bags etc. Nice spacious kitchen to work in. Linens and towels were high quality, beds were comfortable with different pillows to choose from. Soap, shampoo etc, nice quality. Owners had a nice welcome note and bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived, small gestures go a long way. Quiet neighborhood, close to beach and restaurants, (Sea Quake was our favorite place to eat). I will rent this home again if I come back to the area and will suggest it to family and friends who might visit the area. This home made our girls vacation super comfortable and added to the enjoyment of our trip. If you have a family with children or you like to play games, there is a huge selection to choose from. Everything in home has been updated and tastefully done. Loved the old gas stove in the kitchen, worked well and looks great. Honestly, this is one of my very favorite vacation rentals that I've stayed in.
Beautiful home, love the layout. Had everything we needed for a quick trip to the Redwoods. Minutes away from places to eat, can see the ocean from the house. Communication with host was great.
Our family visited this part of California for the very first time and absolutely loved everything about it. The home was perfect! The detail, location, and overall experience = 10/10. Highly recommend!
We came here this weekend for the 54th Annual Jaycees Basketball tournament and it was a PERFECT location and place to stay. Everything was clean, the house was warm for us when we arrived and the hosts have been incredibly prompt in their communication. We will definitely be back!
We normally camp in the redwoods when we come to the area but decided to stay in town this year and are so happy we did! The house was very clean, extremely well appointed, and so cute. They have everything you could need and more which made our week so easy and relaxing. Great location for exploring all of the beaches and redwoods.
Perfectly clean and thoughtfully furnished/designed, this home made our family vacation extra special. It is the best rental we have ever stayed at and we can’t wait to come back someday!
It was kid friendly and the communication with the owners was easy and reliable. Very grateful to have found this gem!
Check-in instructions were great. Communications with host was excellent. House is very clean, very cute with a 1930’s vibe. House is well stocked. Beds are comfortable and internet is fast. All in all a great place to stay in a good location.
What a wonderful place to stay when visiting a variety of Redwood National/State Parks. The home was extraordinary and appointed to such a degree one could prepare 7 course meals daily. We loved the house and the town of Crescent City. Kudos and thanks!
This house was fantastic. It was very clean and airy. All the essentials were provided. It was like being in your own house. It was quiet at night, we slept with our windows open and I’m a light sleeper. You do hear the fog horn, but it was not loud.
Awesome hosts, very responsive and caring.
Honestly, we were sad to leave.
We felt welcomed the moment we arrived and saw fresh flowers on the kitchen table and a bottle of wine waiting for us.
This cottage has been beautifully remodeled, keeping a sense of the era that it was originally built including a beautiful period Wedgewood range in the kitchen and reclaimed wood ceilings just to mention a couple of things. Additionally, it included all the modern conveniences of fresh plumbing fixtures, dishwasher, washer and dryer, ample lighting, WiFi, etc...
The super convenient location is only a few blocks from the grocery store and restaurants in one direction, and a couple of blocks from ocean and sunset views on Pebble Beach and the bay in the other direction.
10/10 would recommend! We would love to stay there again!
We had a delightful stay! The house so nicely renovated and clean. They had fresh flowers in vases throughout the home. The beds were amazingly comfortable with nice pillows and crisp white sheets. The house was located close to the beach an easy walk. Would certainly recommend!
