Experience coastal living in our sunny and cozy cottage on Orr's Island in Harpswell, Maine! Relax on the covered porch or on our new second floor balcony and take in the ocean view! Enjoy the spacious yard for a picnic or gather around the fire pit in the evening. Just steps away, venture to the shore through the neighborhood right-of-way at the end of our road, where you will find a small pebble beach. Public beaches, kayak rentals and hiking trails are also great options nearby.

We are very excited about the new addition of our second floor balcony! We think our guests will enjoy the ocean view from above, relax in the sun and take in the ocean air!

With idyllic, New England charm and comfort, our three bedroom, 1.5 bath, year-round home is fully equipped with all the amenities you will need for your vacation in Maine.

Summer in Maine

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The house was comfortable and the property was excellent for access to local businesses, nature. The yard was great for the kids to play in, as well!

Best rental in our cross country trip!

We stayed in a number of rental properties during our month long road trip and Maureen's cottage was by far our favorite. So adorable and cozy. The porches are terrific. Wonderful place to spend a rainy day reading, doing puzzles and having cocktails by the fireplace. It was a sad day when we left.

I strive to make our cottage sparkling clean and comfortable for every guest upon their arrival. I launder our guests bed linens myself after they check out and purposely leave them folded at the end of each bed so that new guests checking in are assured they are fresh and clean for them upon arrival. My experience has been that most guests understand and appreciate this service. I have also described my laundering process on this website for guests to be aware of in advance. It’s so important to us that Sea Rose Cottage meets or exceeds our guests expectations!

Island Oasis

We absolutely loved staying in this cottage--it is so beautifully decorated and comfortable. Close walking distance to everything! It was a dream to sit on the porch with our morning coffee. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.
