Situated on a large private property, within the nature reserve 'Ria Formosa' and only 5 minutes of Olhão.
Near the fantastic beaches of the islands of the Ria Formosa and ideal for those who enjoy bird watching.
The house offers a comfortable and cozy holiday atmosphere where you can enjoy the garden and relax in a hammock slung in the trees. You can also enjoy biking along the natural park and enjoy the breathtaking views.
Olhão is a fishing village where you can find the best traditional market, a variety of restaurants and bars on the waterfront.
The house is 20 minutes from Faro airport and 5 minutes from Olhão train station.

So liebe Gastgeber, Lage leider extrem laut

Die beiden Gastgeber waren unglaublich nett, das Tinyhouse total schön, alles, was man brauchte, war da. Eine tolle Terrasse mit Blick in die Natur. Leider war aber die Schnellstraße etwa 200 Meter hinter dem Tinyhouse so extrem laut, dass es nicht möglich war, auf der Terrasse zu sitzen, ohne ununterbrochen beschallt zu werden. Deshalb sind wir nur zwei Nächte im Tinyhouse geblieben und sind dann ausgezogen. Es stellte sich heraus, dass kurz vor unserem Einzug Bäume auf dem Grundstück gefällt wurden, die ursprünglich vor Lärm geschützt haben. Da im Inserat stand, dass es im Naturschutzgebiet liegt, sind wir davon ausgegangen, es sei ruhig. Leider war dem nicht so und die zwei Nächte waren ein extrem teures Unterfangen. Hätten wir das mit den Bäumen gewusst, hätten wir das Tinyhouse niemals gemietet. So hat es uns großen Stress und vor allem extrem hohe Kosten verursacht. Sehr schade, weil Rosa und ihr Mann wirklich unglaublich liebenswürdig sind. Aber leider nicht zu empfehlen, bis neue Bäume gepflanzt sind.

Ein wunderschönes, kleines Haus mitten in der Natur. Himmel voller Sterne inklusiv :) Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Einzige kleine Kritik, die Fahrräder können gegen Gebühr genutzt werden, was aber nicht in der Beschreibung des Hauses vermerkt ist. Wir kommen gerne wieder 😊 Anna und Gerd

A Treasure!

This cottage is a real gem in the Algarve, tucked away on a spacious farm a short walk from the Ria Formosa Natural Park. It is close enough to Tavira and Faro to enjoy the restaurants, marinas and beaches without feeling like you are in a tourist zone. The cottage is comfortably appointed with everything you need to enjoy every moment from the amazing sunrises to the awesome sunsets - you can witness both from the verandah. Meeting and spending time with hosts Rosa and Nuno made the visit even more special.

Fantastic cottage and wonderful hosts

We spent 10 nights at this beautiful place and enjoyed our stay a lot. The cottage is spacious, fully equiped, lovingly decorated and the large terrace is gorgeous. It is a perfect place to relax and to enjoy the nature. Rosa and Nuno were fantastic hosts, very friendly and helpful. All in all it was a perfect stay for us and we will hopefully come back one day. Muito obrigado Rosa and Nuno!

Merci Rosa et Nino pour votre accueil, discret.... mais toujours présent pour vous renseignez.... belle maison en bois décorée avec gout, au confort parfait...l'ensemble en pleine nature. Très belle région à visiter...Olhao et le marché au bord de la lagune qui est très animé le matin, tout comme les rues piétonnes. A proximité de la ville, les îles de la lagune de la Ria Formosa, la quiétude sur des km de plage. Allez y

Le confort d'un hôtel 4**** sans les inconvénients ( bruits de voisinage , promiscuité etc....). Se sentir " chez soi " en toute sécurité dans un grand domaine . La gentillesse de Rosa et Nuno pour leurs conseils pour les visites et restaurants.

Cottage with country views

Very nice location with views of the meadows in the national park. Private and nicely designed for a couple. The owners were very friendly and helpful on recommending places and restaurants to visit. The cottage is within easy reach of key sites to visit on the southern coast of Algarve (Olhao, Tavira, Faro, Lagos, Sagres etc). Also, ideally situated for bird watchers and those who want to be at one with Mother Nature. Would love to come again when we revisit the Algarve.

Beautiful spot in Ria Formosa

Located in a beautiful environment, this house has everything we needed for our stay. It is really confortable, really beautiful, modern and clean. It was even more perfect than in pictures. The terrace is perfectly located facing south allowing us to spend some time sunbathing whenever we want during the day. Moreover, Rosa & Nino were great. They welcome us warmly when arriving with many tips for visiting the area and also with a bottle of wine and a basket of fruits. I truly recommend this spot for a couple to enjoy the environment but also to visit the region. It is near to Faro and a good starting point to visit the coast.
