Very clean, spacious accommodation, absolutely lovely hosts, nothing too much trouble. Great views from outside area. Property was in a lovely quiet location a short walk from the beach. Supermarkets close by. Gibraltar less than an hour away for a day trip. Would definitely return and recommend to friends.

Amazing views!
The villa was lovely, and the view was amazing! The communal pool was always quiet, often had it to ourselves. Only 2 restaurants within walking distance but a numb another 10 mins walk away. We visited the roman spa which was just round the corner, worth a visit if you can find it. Overall a lovely relaxing week with the family, definitely going to miss that view!

High Quality Rental
My husband and I plus two of our friends stayed here in late May/early June. The villa was beautifully furnished and decorated, and equipped with pretty much everything you need for a very comfortable stay. I particularly appreciated the high quality matress and pillows, and the aircon in the bedroom that you could set to "quiet", so there was no noise from it to bother your sleep!
The location is quite good - the beach and a couple of beach bars within easy walking distance, and reasonable driving distance to places such as Gibraltar and Ronda.
Check-in and check-out were smooth, and Toni answered quickly to any queries. Reneta, the helpful contact person on location, does not speak much English, but we managed to understand each other well enough :)

The property is very noisy and sits directly above the A7 with constant and loud traffic noise 24 hours a day. You need a car the Supermarket is 10 mins away by Car and Esterpona is 20 mins drive. The upstairs has been refurbished recently and is OK but the bed linen Etc needs a major upgrade. The pool is 5 mins walk away and it was dirty during our visit. The kitchen is very small with insufficient storage space for food for 6 adults and the fridge is also not large enough for drink and food for 6. We stopped 5 weeks whilst looking for property and whilst the owner has greatly improved upstairs it’s not the same down stairs. The kitchen needs replacing as does the dishwasher The house is adorned with plastic plants and cheap nicknacks ( a plastic candelabra) is the star item. In our opinion there is a lot to improve ( plastic grass in the garden that burns your feet) water all over the patio from the A/C units ( which are very good) crockery and cutlery in the kitchen.There appears a general apathy to looking after the paying guests by going the extra mile. I hope this is viewed subjectively as it’s an honest opinion of our stay at the property

The swimming pool is a 3-minute walk away
Thet nearest supermarket is not a 10 mins drive, but a 4 minutes drive, (2,2 km) from the house.
Thet house is located 14 minutes drive to Estepona port, not 20
In response to your comments below:
Your comment regarding the swimming pool is incredibly surprising. The pool is cleaned daily by the community gardeners, and is staffed from opening to closing time to ensure it remains clean and maintained in its pristine condition. We have been renting this property for over 5 years and no one has ever complained about the pool being dirty. In fact, my property manager, who also lives on site, uses the pool throughout the summer and we would certainly know if there were issues with cleanliness. Bahia de Casares swimming pool is probably one of the most tranquil, clean, beautifully designed pool in the area of Casares.
On noise: the Uurbanizacion Bahía de Casares is one of the few locations at walking distance to the beachfront. The infrastructure of the coastline, from Malaga to Gibraltar , is made in such a way that there is always going to be a road, the N-340 running between the beach and the residential areas. This road is unavoidable if you wish to rent a property near the coast.
Bahia de Casares is actually perched on a rock 300 feet above the bay of Casares, so not directly above the road as you suggest and has a series of gardens before getting to sea levels.
Moreover you fail to mention that the house is completely insulated against noise with double glazing throughout, the noise cannot be heard from the bedrooms, or the living room areas.
Not only has the “upstairs” been refurbished. The entire house has been redecorated, painted, with two completely new bathrooms, and a completely newly designed main bedroom. The linen is carefully checked and replaced as and when required, it is in perfect condition. Brand new bath towels were purchased ahead of your arrival. Let me also point out that the investment made in the refurbishment of the property would not go without ensuring that the linen provided reflects the quality of the rest of the property.
Regarding the plastic plants: There is one plastic plant in the living room, and a few decorative plants in the bedroom. The house is primarily designed for rentals, the use of plastic plants allows for some green notes without requiring daily watering, or requesting watering from our guests. It is sad however that you should fail to mention the incredibly lush garden ( with real plants) consisting of Bougainvillea, Honeysuckles, Bird of Paradise, Hibiscus, Palms, Ficus, to name a few, overlooking the incredible view over the bay of Casares and the Mediterranean.
Anyone who has spent time in Spain would know that with high temperatures for at least 9 months of the year, real grass burns and does not survive without daily watering, which is completely unecological.
As for the “cheap decoration” I am sorry that the Maison du Monde decoration was not to your taste. My recommendation would be to ensure you look at the pictures prior to reserving a property to ensure it matches your tastes and expectations.
The kitchen is built according to the size of the property, with plenty of storage and work space. And again is as described on our page. if you desire a larger space, once again, I recommend you pick the property to reflect your requirements in the future.
On the subject of not going the extra mile:
We have been in contact with you on several occasions for the period of 5 months prior to your arrival to obtain information from you regarding the extra cleaning, and the movement of guests arriving and leaving during the rental. You have failed to provide us with a schedule, although were asked several times.
You eventually approved the cleaning schedule we provided; This schedule we honored as per your approval, yet on one occasion you tried to get our cleaning team to do additional cleaning without prior agreement.
We have asked you to liaise with us to confirm your arrival details so that we could arrange a check in time, at least 24 hours prior to arrival. Something you failed to provide. You were told that check in was from 16.00. You did not provide your arrival details 24hours in advance, and called our team only 1 hour prior to arrival, just after midday. We still have accommodated your early check in.
When an issue arose with the water not evacuating fast enough in the bathroom, we responded straight away to arrange a plumber to visit the property the following day. You refused access twice. You also refused access on the basis that you did not trust our team, that things may go missing. Let me reassure you that we have been renting the property for many years, with repeat clients. It is not in our interest to steal our guests' belongings. We have offered on several occasions to arrange a plumber in the presence of the property manager, and at times convenient so as not to impact on your holiday. You have done nothing other than complain, but did not allow us to carry out repairs, until you gave us one day notice that you were going away for a few days, and eventually granted us access to the property.
With regards to house rules: When my team came to the house to address the water evacuation, they found the property with windows open, and shutters to the terrace open. Contravening to the security of the property.
Following you ongoing complaints, I felt that with such level of dissatisfaction, I must say, unseen in the years of rental in our lovely house, I proposed to you very cordially that if the house and the service were not to your liking, we would be willing to reimburse you for part of your vacation, should you wish to find a more suitable property. Something we are not obliged to do. This was on one condition: that you give us one week's notice and that you did not leave during the last week. You gave us 3 days' notice and you left during the last week.
I also have to point out that we did not charge you for the stains you have left in the brandnew bathroom worktop, which we had to have repainted.
Sir, please let me reassure you that my property has been rented with renewed contracts with groups, and agencies, and have had many repeat clients, and never had such a level of unjustified complaints. This property is also my home, which I truly care for and maintain on a yearly basis. We receive 5 star reviews for cleanliness, communication, location, hence our diary being full and the property being in such high demand.
We are always willing to take on comments, constructive ones, from our guests to improve. But your comments are unfounded, and do not reflect the quality of the property and the service offered.

Es handelt sich um ein sehr gutes Objekt, welches durch Sauberkeit und sehr guter Abwicklung bestach. Die Ausstattung im Hause und die Lage sind gut. Im Haus selber gibt es einen tv und eine Stereoanlage. WLAN ist ebenfalls vorhanden. Um zum einkaufen zu gehen oder in die nächstgelegene Ortschaft ist es ratsam ein Auto zu haben. In der Umgebung gibt es eine Vielzahl an Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und sehr guten Stränden. Im Ordner des Hauses findet sich eine Vielzahl an Möglichkeiten dafür. Es war alles bestens organisiert und Sonia ist eine sehr gute Verwalterin des Objektes. Vielen Dank nochmals für die tolle Abwicklung.Zwischen Haus und Strand verläuft die Schnellstraße A7, welche auch immer zu hören ist. Das war am ersten Tag vielleicht etwas befremdlich, jedoch war es nach dem zweiten Tag kein Problem mehr. Letztendlich möchte ich unseren Aufenthalt als sehr gelungen bewerten und das Anwesen als sehr gut!

Ich möchte nur eine kleine Klarstellung zu Ihrem Kommentar bezüglich der Straßen in Spanien hinzufügen:
🛣️ In Spanien gibt es zwei Haupttypen von Schnellstraßen:
- AP: Autopista de Peaje
- A steht für Autopista (Autobahn)
- P steht für Peaje (Maut)
- Diese Autobahnen sind gebührenpflichtig, meist schneller und besser ausgebaut.
👉 Die AP-Autobahn liegt jedoch mehrere Kilometer von meinem Haus entfernt, sodass sie nicht die Quelle des Geräuschs sein kann.
- A: Autovía oder nationale Straße
- Diese Straßen sind kostenlos und werden vom Staat finanziert.
👉 Die Straße, die Sie aus der Ferne gehört haben, ist mit großer Wahrscheinlichkeit die nahegelegene Nationalstraße, die für alle frei zugänglich ist.

Die Unterkunft ist super schön, modern eingerichtet, sehr sauber und perfekt für mehrere Personen. Die Bilder, die auf Fewo veröffentlicht sind, entsprechen 100% der Realität.Die Aussicht ist wirklich spektakulär. Bei wolkenfreiem Wetter sieht man Gibraltar und Marokko.Man hört von der Terrasse aus die A7, aber das ist in dieser Gegend bei Unterkünften mit Meerblick und naher Strandlage überall so.Wir hatten tatsächlich noch nie eine Unterkunft, die uns so gut gefallen hat und in der wir uns so wohl gefühlt haben wie in Bahia del Mar.

Bahia del mar
Wir vier (Familie mit zwei 17-jährigen Töchtern) hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in Bahia del Mar.
Das Haus war sehr sauber und ist liebe- und stilvoll eingerichtet. Der Blick auf das Meer ist traumhaft.
Bei der Ausstattung hat es an nichts gefehlt - Töpfe, Pfannen, scharfe Messern, sogar Gewürze und sonstige Grundausstattung - mehr als erwartet und von anderen Urlauben gewohnt war vorhanden.
Die Lage ist super zwischen Malaga / Marbella / Estepona auf der einen Seite und auch die Atlantikküste mit tollen Stränden (Tarifa, Rota, ...) und anderen Ausflugzielen (Cadiz, Jerez, Gibraltar, ...) ist zeitnah zu erreichen.
Auf diesem Weg nochmal Grüße an Antonio sowie Justin und Sonia für die gute Betreuung vor Ort mit Strandtipps etc. - wir können Bahia del Mar ohne Einschränkungen empfehlen und kommen irgendwann auch gerne mal wieder!

Es ist ein sehr gepflegtes und schön eingerichtetes Anwesen. Der Empfang durch Sonia war sehr freundlich und wir haben uns extrem wohl gefühlt. Von der Terrasse hat man eine tolle Aussicht. Auch die Ausgangslage ist ideal für Ausflüge in den Norden und den Süden. Ein sehr schönes Lokal ist auch zu Fuß in 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Also insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen. Und auch ganz wichtig: Betten sind sehr bequem. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

El alojamiento está fenomenal. Tiene de todo. Muy buenas vistas, con terraza y jardín. Dispone de todo el equipamiento q puedas necesitar y aparcamiento privado en la misma puerta, además de una bonita decoracion. Las camas y almohadas super cómodas.La piscina a tres minutos a pie y poco concurrida. Playas cercanas, q aunque se puede ir andando en coche son dos minutos y tiene muy fácil aparcamiento. Muy buenas vistas. Equipado con todo.

Das Haus liegt sehr schön oberhalb des Strandes mit tollem Meerblick. Alles war modern eingerichtet und sehr gut in Schuss. Es fehlte an nichts. Die Betreuung vor Ort von Sonia war hervorragend. Der Pool in der Anlage sehr sauber und gepflegt mit Toilettenanlage. Tolles Huas in sehr guter Lage. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Casa numa zona tranquila, com uma paisagem deslumbrante sobre o Mediterrâneo contribuíram para uns dias de férias inesquecíveis.
Equipada com tudo o que é preciso e muito mais do que se possa pensar. A qualidade de todos os equipamentos muito acima da média, desde os eletrodomésticos até aos elementares talheres, contribuíram para que nos sentíssemos confortáveis como se estivéssemos em casa.
Imaculadamente limpa, com excelente comunicação, é um local que voltaremos a visitar (se tivermos a sorte de estar disponível) numa próxima deslocação para a Costa Del Sol.

Bonjour la famille, merci pour votre commentaire, je suis vraiment content que vous avez aimé la maison et que vous vous êtes sentis à vôtre aise.
Hemos estado muy agusto esta semana de vacaciones en el apartamento. Tanto Sonia como Justin han estado pendientes en todo momento si hemos necesitado algo. Las vistas desde la casa son inmejorables. Si es cierto que para bajar a la playa en familia, con todos los trastos propios, teníamos que coger el coche, aunque andando se tardan 10 minutos, pero al ir cargados no es aconsajable, merece la pena coger el coche y ya que estás, visitar el resto de playas, no solo la más cercana.
La piscina de la urbanización no tenía problemas de aforo, y a pesar de las comprensibles normas con la COVID, cuando íbamos no teníamos problemas de acceso ya que el aforo nunca estaba completo. Lástima que la piscina no estuviera al salir del jardín, pero no se puede tener todo.
En general, toda la familia ha salido encantada de la estancia.
Aconsejable y recomendado ir.

La piscina y la playa están lejos de la casa al ir con niños pensábamos según el anuncio y fotos sería más asequible pero aunque entre la casa y el mar hay 100 m lo que no dice es que en medio está la A7 para mi era un gran inconveniente, la casa esta maravillosa

Hola Ana me alegro de que te haya gustado la casa, siento las molestias que has tenido que hacer para ir a la playa a pie con tu hijo pequeño.
En el anuncio VRPO ( Tipo de Ubicacion ) ,se indica exactamente donde esta situada la casa y las distancias exactas para ir al mar a pie ( 650 m.) . y la piscina a 4 minutos andando y esta situada en el centro de la urbanización
Si me hubieras preguntado cómo es la situación para ir al mar con un niño pequeño, te habría dicho que es un poco complicado ir andando al mar en tu caso.
Por desgracia, la carretera N340 atraviesa casi toda la Costa del Sol y las casas que están a pocos minutos del mar tienen la carretera delante o detrás.
Una vez más, gracias por elegir Bahía del Mar como destino de sus vacaciones.

El alojamiento está muy bien. Está decorado con mucho gusto y equipado totalmente en cuanto a menaje. Los dormitorios y el salón disponen de aire acondicionado. El porche y patio con las vistas de la bahía son lo mejor, y estupendos para disfrutar haciendo una barbacoa.
La playa está cerca, a unos 3 minutos en coche.
