Spacious home with expansive beach views!



The Space:

2 Cool Livin' is a large 2-story house only a few steps from the beach. Relax on either the upper or lower deck with plenty of high-backed deck chairs; take in the unobstructed view of the Gulf of Mexico and breathe in the warm salty breezes.



This 2400 square foot home features 5 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and easily sleeps 18. The main level has spacious living area, with comfortable seating and a flat-screen TV with satellite connection. You will enjoy the well-stocked kitchen with all the cookware and appliances you need to prepare and serve your favorite meals, including a regular drip coffee maker. There is plenty of seating at the bar and around the dining table.



Also on the main floor you will find the primary bedroom, with a king size bed and ensuite bathroom. The four remaining bedrooms are located on the top floor-- one bedroom has a queen bed along with a set of twin bunk beds; another bedroom has two queen size beds; a third bedroom has one queen bed. The bunk room has a full over full bunk, and a twin over twin bunk. Flat-screen TVs with satellite connection are located in all bedrooms, and high speed internet is available for your convenience.



While the two upstairs decks offer panoramic views of the beach and Gulf of Mexico, the ground level features some awesome amenities as well! There is an outside bar and bbq pit/gas grill (the propane tank provided may need refill), and even more seating for entertaining. There is also an outdoor shower to help you wash the sand away after your day on the beach.

Small dogs (under 35 pounds) are allowed with additional fee. All Swedes Real Estate vacation rentals are non-smoking properties. Swedes does not rent to guests under 25 years of age.

The homeowner does not provide linens and towels, but, if you choose, they are available upon request from our linen service (additional fee applies).

The only reason I'm not giving it a 5 star is the linen situation. There's an additional fee for linens, so we pay for it but the beds are not made and expecting the guests to put on the linens ourselves. As a guest who is renting a beach house for a getaway the last thing i want to do is put sheets on all beds. It would have been nice if they were already on. Other than that the house layout was perfect, house was very clean and location was perfect.

Amazing Beach View

Lovely weekend spent with family and friends celebrating Mom's Heavenly Birthday. House was clean, inviting and comfortable. Had 10 adults with room to have 8 more comfortably. Nice porch area with beautiful views. Swede Real Estate was very easy to work with. Would stay again.

The beds are comfortable and the whole house is modern and clean. The location could not be any better. Clear view of the beach and it sits on an access road. We have only gone in the off season and it is very quite then. It can be foggy, cloudy and rainy in February, but we had a great time, nonetheless.

The beach wasn't too busy when we were there. The house was very clean and nice! I had to call a couple of times for more info and for maintenance and we got quick service. The only con was that they should have been more clear on the room layout for one of the bedrooms. On the bedroom that has 2 queen beds, its not private at all. The room is behind a basically half wall that is open to the upstairs hallway and across the hall from the bunk room. The wall doesn't go all the way up or down and just has a small saloon style swinging door. This was not ideal for my family as we had a baby that slept in there and it was loud. Also note, if you buy the linen package, they drop them off in bags which means all of the beds have to be made. The comforters/decorate pillow cases were there when we arrived and we had to "make" the beds when we left (without linens) which means they were not washed in between guests. I would recommend bringing blankets for the beds and not using the comforters/pillows that already have cases on them that are in the room when you arrive. Other than that we had no complaints. We would definitely stay there again!

My only complaint is the house could have been cleaner as the floors needed sweeping and mopping and the rugs are in need of cleaning. We paid extra for linens and were given plenty of towels and washcloths. Check in and checkout was easy and having a noon check-in is nice.

My only negative, more towards management procedures, is the fact that the house does not provide liens. We rented two houses for this trip one came with everything we needed and this one we had to pay extra for liens, which is not what you expect when renting a vacation home as you expect to have everything there. On top of it all, the liens were placed in the living room and all beds had to be made once we showed up. Not ideal when this is a business trip and your bringing customers to stay.
