5 minute walk to downtown Edgartown, very close ride to State Beach/South Beach.

This comfortable and charming home is located within a 5 minute walk to downtown Edgartown with great shopping, movie theater, quiet harbor and fabulous restaurants. A 5 minute drive will get you to the quiet State Beach or a 10 minute drive will bring you to the roar of the ocean at South Beach. It is located near all the major Island roads, making it an easy ride to any of the other Island towns and attractions. It's right on the bus line if you want to leave your car behind for the day. This home features four crisp bedrooms each with a good sized closet. The kitchen was just remodeled featuring a gas stove, granite countertop and a granite peninsula where a small group can gather to eat. It also has a good sized kitchen table and sliding glass door out to the patio. There is lots of light. The local grocery store is just around the corner. The comfortable living room has a flat screen TV and DVR for watching movies on rainy days. It is an open floor plan. There are beautiful hardwood floors throughout. Outside is a furnished patio area with gas grill, large yard for lawn games and an outdoor shower with hot and cold water. Air conditioning throughout with controls in each room. There is a basketball hoop for practicing outside.
Rental is from Sunday to Sunday in July & August.

The Perfect Edgartown House!

22 Curtis Lane exceeded our expectations in every way! Jane was fantastic responding to our various questions prior to our arrival, and the house came equipped with everything one needs for a relaxing vacation in Edgartown. The open layout is ideal for families, and the location around the corner from the grocery store and short walk to downtown couldn't be better. We hope to come back to 22 Curtis Lane next year!

Perfect Setup and Location!!!

I love this Beautiful home with it's open concept kitchen, dining and living area. The new kitchen with new hardwood floors throughout open to a gorgeous new large slate patio with new outdoor dining furniture and new outdoor shower. Personally, I don't think the photos do it justice. The home and yard are much larger than they appear in the photos. Both older sons 16 and 20 had a wonderful time either kicking the soccer ball around the large fenced-in yard or shooting basketballs in the front. The location was perfect for them or for all of us to walk into town in less than 5 minutes. Thank you Jane for sharing with us your wonderful vacation home with us!!!

This was our 2nd year and hoping for a 3rd, next year!! Jane is such a great host and was so accommodating with everything we asked… she even allowed us to check out a little late since she was on her way and wanted to meet us. Best MV Vacation to date!!

There aren’t t enough great things to say about the beautiful house or Jane, the host. She was very responsive and understanding when we needed and extra 30 minutes to check out. The house is so spacious and functional for our family of 6. It’s also a 5-10 minute walk to the. downtown action - restaurants, shops, ferry to Chappy and much more! It was overall one of the. Eat vacations we’ve ever had on the vineyard!! Highly Recommend…

Perfect Vacation Home

Our family of 4 (me, my husband & 18 & 16 year old sons) decided we needed a break from our 3+months Covid-19 routine. As Massachusetts residents we didn't want to leave the State, so we decided to take a vacation to Martha's Vineyard since none of us had ever been before. We found this adorable rental on VRBO that had everything we were looking for in a vacation home; comfortable bedrooms, a roomy living room, beautiful kitchen & patio with an outdoor shower ( a must for a beach home). We were able to walk or bike to town & the beach which was almost faster than driving at certain times of day. The house is on a really quiet street even though it is conveniently located near town & a main street with lots of traffic. The owners were so welcoming, accommodating & easy to work with. They were quick to answer any questions. They have put a lot of love & care into this house & it shows. We really loved the paintings... they are REAL artwork..not the haphazard posters you find in many rentals. Bottom line: this house was awesome & we would give it 10 stars if we could. THANK YOU, Jane!

House was perfect for what we needed. Nice open floor plan and comfortably fit all 8. Only one drawback was having to provide your own bed linens and towels, bit of an inconvenience to have to make up and strip beds. Weather was beautiful so we we could walk pretty much everywhere. We used this beautiful property for a family vacation. The home is bright and comfortable. Great place for kids, I came packing my own horde. The house was large enough to easily accommodate a big crowd, but intimate enough for just a couple. The cleanliness made my wife and I feel very comfortable. The house is located close enough to a main street to make quick trips to the market easy, but not so close as to disturb the local tranquility. The proximity to beaches (State Beach for the tots) made for very easy day trips out. We will be staying there again!

Wonderful Vacation Home!

This beautiful home is the perfect place for our family to gather! It is a short walk to downtown Edgartown where we enjoyed the art galleries, shops and restaurants. Best Ever!

We love this house! We have been going for 11 years and each year we enjoy it more. The owner, Jane, is very responsive to our questions. It is so comfortable to sit around on rainy days and play games with the family. Great kitchen for cooking and hanging around. We can walk to everything or ride our bikes or sometimes we even take the bus. The bus is right down the street and we can put our bikes on there and go to Oak Bluffs, or South Beach, or anywhere on the island. Wonderful home for a vacation!

Great House, Great Location

Loved our stay at the Vineyard. We had a family wedding in Edgartown and the house was walking distance from everything. The home comfortably housed our group of eight adults. I liked that there was plenty of common living space for everyone to socilaize. Being close to town, bike trails, beaches and fishing spots allowed us to able do our own things. One never felt stranded if they did not go where the cars were going. The house was clean and the owner responded immediately to a question about a possible malfunction of an appliance. As it turned out, there was no problem. We would gladly rent this house again.

Wonderful Anniversary Weekend!

The location of this home is perfect because we don't need a car when we visit the island. The house is close to the beach, the bike path, the golf course and the art galleries. The street is quiet yet it is so close to town, the harbor and the beaches.
