Best Lake visit!

Very pleased with our time at Highland Lake, beautiful home and beautiful lake! We had 8 adults and 6 children, and this house didn’t blink! Best time? The beautiful lakeside screened in porch. I would do it all again in a heartbeat.

Extended Family vacation

The house was very clean and Beautful...right on the water with a delightful screened in porch with 2 picnic tables. We found the bedrooms to be different than advertised....no room with a bunkbed (double on the bottom and twin on the top ) as well as a separate double bed. We rearranged people and made do...luckily we had the right sheets to accommodate. We all had a great time and agree that it would be a house we could return to.

Great vacation home

This is a wonderful place to come and unwind. The home is beautiful and clean, open concept living and dining area with large screened porch to gather and watch the lake views. Another big screened porch in the front, too. Outside area is beautiful with large dock and grassy area to sit at the water. Loved being able to use the kayaks to explore the lake. Such a nice place for a family vacation. Highly recommend.

Absolute perfection!

Our stay was wonderful! The location of the home is a dream, down a very private road, and obviously Lakeside. Super private, extremely quiet, and the house had absolutely everything you would need for an amazing vacation. You’ve got five kayaks, a canoe, life preservers Floaties, even a stray fishing pole. Everything you need to enjoy the outside. Inside the house the kitchen was well stocked. There was enough room and beds to sleep 14 of us, air-conditioning should you need it, and the best part was the glorious screened-in porch. Absolutely amazing views and an absolutely amazing time! Kristen was incredibly responsive, routinely shared tips and photos, and always quickly responded to any questions I might have had. I wish I didn’t have to leave.

Wonderful Family Vacation!

This is a well-maintained lakefront home with all the amenities. It has a perfect bedroom setup for our 3 generation family of 15. The lake is beautiful, pristine, peaceful and abundant with wildlife. The Hosts were great communicating and available for any questions. We always have a scavenger hunt for the children, and it was such fun to have a Christmas theme, considering this home's address. There was always something to do, even if it was playing charades on a rainy day (the living/dining area is large and comfortable). We played kickball and swam in the lake at the property, as well as took the short walk to the beach area to build sandcastles, swim and play volleyball. It is also just a short drive to rte 302 where you can find so many conveniences (drive-in theatre, shopping, ice cream shoppes, movie theatre, restaurants. etc.) We had a great week! Thank you.

AMAZING House on Highland Lake (or should I say Loon Lake) for Family of 15

This is our 8th year vacationing as a family of 10 adults and 5 children and our first year at this house on Highland Lake, and it by far surpassed all our expectations! Kristen was an excellent host and was available, if needed. The space fit our family comfortably. With 6 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, an open concept on the main level (kitchen/dining/living room), and the two screened in porches, there was a place for everyone. On the hot and humid days, we were grateful for the A/C! The double dock right off the back of the house was great for fishing and launching kayaks. The shady private roadways made morning walks, jogging, and biking safe and pleasant. The kids had a blast swimming and jumping off the floating dock. There was also access to a boat launch for larger watercraft had we brought one and a beach area for swimming. And the loons! Sooo many loons! We will miss you. Thank you for a great week! We can't wait to return next year!

Wonderful vacation at 17 Santa Claus Drive

The house had everything that we needed. The house is close to the water and included a large dock and swim platform. The house was large with plenty of room for everyone - 4 families. It also had 2 screened porches - spent lots of time there enjoying the lake without any bugs. It was perfect for our large group!

Maine Lake house

Kristen from the beginning was easy to work with and the property was a great spot for us to go tubing, waterskiing, kayaking and boating. We caught a few fish and was able to see beautiful sunrise from the outstanding screened porch! We loved it.

Large Family Get Away

For my mom's 70th birthday we planned a family trip. My 4 siblings and our spouses our children in tow we trekked up to Bridgton for a week of relaxation, swimming, fishing and laughing. We could not have imagined a better place to be. The house was perfect for our families. My infant daughter was never disturbed while sleeping (despite our loud laughing and joking). The older kids loved swimming to the swim dock and playing in the backyard. Kristen and Bill thought of everything! They had games ready for both inside and out in the yard, the house was so clean and inviting. The kitchen had all the appliances we needed for coffee, toast, smoothies and utensils for the grill outside. Communication with the homeowners was easy and they were super responsive. My sister, husband and I are runners. There is a great 1 mile loop within the neighborhood and (although hilly) pretty good roads to run on outside the neighborhood. Great way to explore the surrounding area! We all had such a great time and are considering going back for a future trip! Thank you Kristen and Bill!!
