Important information for all our guests: according to the Municipality of Peniche, since April 2024, all guests lodging in rental accommodations must adhere to the local tourist tax policy, collected directly by the house manager upon arrival. The rate set by the Municipality is €1 per person per night. Maximum €5 per person per stay. Children under 13 are not subject to tourist tax.

Surf Atlantic house is suited for up to 8 people. There are four bedrooms, max two people in each (double or twin) with quality beds and mattresses for added sleeping relaxation.
On the ground floor, there is a spacious living room with comfy sofas and coffee table, Smart TV,... etc. dining table and chairs for 8. To keep you comfortable, warm, and dry during the winter house has a pellet stove, double glazed windows, and complete house insulation. Modern, fully equipped kitchen (electric cooker with oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, blender... etc.) and bar table with 3 chairs. Off the kitchen is a storage room for your food and drinks.
The first of two bathrooms with large, high-quality stone shower tray and other necessities is situated on the ground floor as well.
The first floor consists of three rooms, one of them with a balcony to watch amazing sunsets over Atlantic ocean.
The second bathroom is situated on this floor as well.
From the first floor hallway, there is a wooden spiral staircase to the attic room with extra area to chill out on the sofa with a small table. Extra bed can be added here if required.
All rooms are super clean, dry, quiet, and comfortable.
House is located on a quiet street and has free parking right in front of the property.

Dear guests, please kindly refrain from using sunscreens in the house as they stain the towels and sheets provided to you. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

One 15kg bag of pellets for pellet stove included in the price of reservation.

Comfy home by the beach

We enjoyed our stay, great location, walking distance from the beautiful beach. All clean and the beds we’re comfortable. The jacuzzi was a bonus for relaxing in. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic place to stay, loved the location

We had a great stay at Surf Atlantic, we found the house extremely comfortable & clean and it had everything we needed. The jacuzzi was an added bonus, after a long day surfing, it was just what we needed. The location was perfect, close to the surf scene and local restaurants. We will definitely recommend this place to our friends and hope to come back soon. Thank-you Zuzana and Tibor for making our holiday one to remember!

Surf & Relax

Enjoyed our stay, home had everything we needed and host was helpful and gracious. We were able to rent surf boards and walk to the beach on day one. Enjoyed the outdoor seating, fireplace and hot tub. Central to lots of food, beaches, and other sites. Wonderful!

Surf Atlantic is Muito Bem!!

We spent our fourth year in a row in Baleal for a surfing Spring Break. The Surf Atlantic is the nicest place we has stayed. Zuzana sought to all of our needs and questioned. Although there are many nice features to the property, the hot tub was probably the most important. Between sessions, my son put it best as it was "everything!"

Perfect place for surfing and relaxing!

We loved staying at Surf Atlantic! Zuzanna was wonderful and helpful, check in and check out were easy, and the house and location were amazing. We rented wet suits and boards from the house - great equipment in great shape - and it was a quick easy walk to the beach. The surf was great, and it was great to come back to spend time in the hot tub! The house was clean and very well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bedrooms were clean and comfortable and having two full bathrooms was great for our family. We will definitely be coming back!

Best place to stay in Baleal

Our stay at Surf Atlantic was absolutely amazing and unspeakable! You definitely have to stay there. First and foremost, Suzana and Tibor were such an amazing hosts. They are not only super-nice and friendly guys but also always willing to help and available for whatever we need during our stay. Second, the house is absolutely astonishing. It is fully equipped and the renovation Suzana and Tibor made is excellent. Rooms are big, comfortable mattresses, it has two cozy bathrooms -specially the one on the first floor which has an amazing views of the whole area and the Atlantic ocean-, and the patio with the jacuzzi was the icing on the cake! Third, the location is just perfect. The house is located in a very residential neighborhood but really close to the beach (5-10 min walking) and different restaurants, supermarkets, surf shops, etc. Finally, you can also rent surfboards and wetsuits directly to Suzana and Tibor at a lower price than the rest of rentals that you can find in the area. Although it may be counterproductive to my interest (I would love to have Surf Atlantic available only for me ) I definitely recommend you to stay at Surf Atlantic. It is the best place in the Baleal area (I've been there 4 times in 4 different houses) and you won't regret!

The house was great for our stay!

We were a family of 7 that stayed at the house. 2 parents with 3 children (6, 10 and 11) and 2 grandparents. The house was great for our stay! All communication before our stay went well and when arriving very late after midnight Zuzana was very patient and waited for our arrival. Appreciated. The house is spacious with kitchen, living room and a bathroom at the first floor. On the second floor there are 3 bedrooms and a bathroom that suited the kids and the grandparents. I and my wife took the bedroom on the third floor. It is a steep staircase so not suitable for small kids or older people, but worked fine for us. The house is in good shape and clean. It has the utensils that you need to cook your own food. If you want it is also possible to barbecue on the grill. The house supplies with brickets. There is a nice patio with a dining table, sofa and sunbeds if you want to chill at the house. There is also a Jacuzzi that I didn’t expect us to use in July, but since it was a bit cloudy during the week, the Jacuzzi was used frequently by the whole family. The house is located a short walk (5-10 min) to the beach where we had surf classes. I can recommend Baleal Surf camp, they took great care of us! There are some restaurants and a smaller grocery store close by. To reach center of Baleal it is a 10-15 min walk. Zuzana and Tibor were great hosts that came by and briefed us about the house and recommended restaurants and places to see. If you want to surf in Baleal, this is a great place to stay!

Great spot to explore the beaches and local area

The house is clean and well maintained. The hot tub is great for relaxing in. The kids loved being connected to the Wi-Fi. The location lends itself to exploring the local beaches for walks and of course surfing. 5 minutes walk to the local beach, and on to Baleal. A great local beach bar (Tribo) breakfast or sunset drink. A 15-20 walk to Ferrel and a wide range of restaurants. Zuzana was always quick to reply to messages and questions. We also hired surfboards from the hosts for a couple of days to get us in the water.

Very good place for relaxing vacation

The place was exactly as described and the owners were very adaptable to our needs. The jacuzzi was enjoyed by the hole family (2 couples + 4 kids). The house is very quiet even if located closed to the beaches. We only stayed 3 days so we did not tried to surf but we definitly will if we come back.

Schöne Einrichtung und sehr freundliche Vermieter

Wir waren für 3 Nächte im Haus und es war Hammer, am Tag surfen und am Abend zusammen im Whirlpool gechillt. Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Würde wieder hingehen auch für längere Zeit.

There is no better place to be.

The "Surf Atlantic"is the perfect place to have an outstanding vacation in Baleal. We´ve found everything just as described on the website - SIMPLY PERFECT. But on top we´ve found two wonderfull people - Zuzka and Tibor, the owners,they´ve made us feel at home + they gave us great advises concerning food, surf lessons and organised surf equipment for our whole group. We´ve already decided to spent our next surf holiday at Surf Atlantic next year.
