Bryce is one of our twin cabins, sharing a swim spa and hot tub with the neighboring River Cabin. During your stay, you’ll enjoy the shared swim spa & hot tub, private fire pit, furnished back deck, and covered front porch with charcoal grill. Bryce can comfortably sleep up to 4 guests between the main bedroom and sleeping loft. The cabin is equipped with a full kitchen, smart TV, private washer dryer combo, and more.
Bryce Cabin features a spacious, furnished back deck that connects to its neighboring cabin, River. Between the two cabins, you'll find the luxury hot tub and swim spa, with easy access to the master bedroom.
Inside, the main bedroom hosts a queen bed, closets for hanging clothes, lots of drawer storage, and a Smart TV. Just outside the bedroom is your dedicated washer and dryer combo unit on one side and the full bathroom with bathtub on the other.
A step further we enter the kitchen, fully stocked for cooking/dining with an electric range, microwave, stove, full-size fridge, dishwasher, and all the dishes you need to whip up a vacation feast. The living room and kitchen feature an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings with the main TV across from the sofa.
Up the staircase is the sleeping loft equipped with two twin beds. Kids will love having their own space. For grownups, clearance in the loft is low, just 4' - it’s perfect for sleeping, just watch your head when you get up.
The cabin’s covered front porch with dining set is the perfect place for a morning cup of coffee, or grilling out on your dedicated charcoal grill (charcoal not include). Just off the porch is the private fire pit, perfect for fireside chats and evening s'mores. Firewood can be purchased on-property.

Thank you so much for your 5-star review! We are thrilled that y'all loved it and are happy to have a place that kids and parents both approve of! Be sure and come see us again when you come back to Chattanooga!
We took a short trip from Alabama to spend the day in Chattanooga. It was the best decision ever. The cabin was adorable with the best pool/hot tub combination that we have ever seen. It was definitely the best relaxation and just what we was looking for. It also happens to be in a wonderful location.
I’ve lived in the area for 15 years and had no idea these cabins were here. It was a fun, unique, charming place to stay. On Saturday of our stay, the maintenance staff we met were phenomenal. They even went out of their way to make my daughter’s little birthday on the porch extra special. It was a great stay-cation! We will be back!

Amanda, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us here at Wauhatchie Woodlands! Thank you for choosing us to celebrate your daughter's birthday in our tiny cabin. We look forward to your next stay-cation with us here in Chattanooga!
The Blue House is abundantly sized, with ample beds and sleeping quarters. I enjoyed the kitchen which was well equipped and modernized, and the spa was a nice feature to relax and enjoy the fall colors in a secluded scene.
We would stay here again for sure.
Cute little cabin. Conveniently located within short distance to major attractions and dining. Swim spa combo was delightfully relaxing when we got to use it, and there was spacious deck area around the cabin. Only issues were being able to get in and out of the loft area to get in and out of bed because you couldn't stand up at all, and the neighbors, who we had to share the swim spa with, weren't very considerate of us wanting to use it on our last night there. Plus, we woke up the next morning to find they left the swim spa area messy when they got done the night before. Overall though, we'd definitely rent a cabin from here again of we're touring Chattanooga.
Had a little rough start but everything was taken care of in a timely manner. Great customer service.

About the host
Hosted by Timberroot Rustic Retreats
I have loved world travels my entire life; though as father of 8 kids, our movements have been more limited of late. I am an entrepreneur and business owner, lover of history, plants, nature, my faith, philosophy, and my family. We love Chattanooga for too many reasons to list, but also cherish variety and the beauty so many places in the world have to offer.
As hosts, you will find us responsive and accommodating and eager to share the treasures of our town and learn the treasures of your own. We know the trails, many waterfalls, parks, restaurants, and attractions of Chattanooga quite well and are willing to be a resource for our guests, offering an intimate knowledge of the area.
As a traveler, on business I tend to work, read and rest if I can, and prefer to travel with associates or family when I can. As a vacationer, I am eager to share and celebrate the diversity of creation and humanity with my family and to give them an explorers heart, a warmth for difference, and a bit of zeal for travel too. I prefer National Parks to cities, but cities carry their own attraction. I prefer mountains to beaches, forests to fields, and local to corporate or suburban.
Why they chose this property
This was an old trailer park. We saw great potential for it, as a gem of a natural setting so incredibly close to the city. We offer a natural escape right on Lookout by the beautiful city of Chattanooga with unique and modern rustic comfort for the perfect mountain side stay.
