Excellent location overlooking the Market Square Stage in downtown Knoxville.
You can exit directly onto the pedestrian only Square to visit award winning restaurants and local shops, or use the Wall Ave. entrance to gain access to the elevator.
University of Tennessee, Theater District, Gay St., Old City, Worlds Fair Site, History Museum, Convention Center are all within close walking distance...
You can park once and never need you vehicle until you leave.
Farmers Market on the Square every Wed and Sat throughout spring and autumn. Along with music on select Tuesday and Thursday nights.
Walking distance also to the new Stadium for baseball and soccer.
Please be aware that this location is in the center of the city.
It is a very lively entertainment district and it is where people to go and have fun all day and sometimes into the night.
We cannot control the noise from outside, although we do supply fans and earplugs.
If you need it absolute quiet at night, this may not be the location for you.

This was our second stay at this property and definitely won’t be the last. You can’t beat the location and the property itself is perfect. Clean, convenient, and charming. The apartment is equipped with anything you might need during your stay, like toiletries, snacks and several board games. We absolutely love this place!!

Great location for a quick trip to Knoxville. Hosts were responsive and communicated when needed. Two bedrooms and living areas perfect for two couples to for a short getaway. Walkable to many restaurants, shopping, and bars.

Everything was as expected…great location.. Close to plenty of choices for food and beverages..comfortable beds.The “street” noise of a couple of cars /motorcycles was a bit excessive. But that can’t be controlled by host..and was also a warning on listing.Overall great place..!

An amazing stay! Close to lots of entertainment and restaurants. We had Jazz on Market Square a right out the window.We stayed in the Garden themed apartment and loved it! Clean space, pet friendly, and great host response! 10/10 would definitely do again!

So pleased with this property! Bedrooms are far enough from each other to offer privacy. Lots of comfort touches all around. Felt more like staying at a friend's house than a stranger's. Super clean. Amazing location with walking access to soooo many things. Earplugs appreciated, due to life on the street/square below. But everything else is totally worth the trade off.

The location was perfect. We were able to walk everywhere we needed to go. I appreciated the thoughtful details such as games, snacks, and extra blankets. The stay was comfortable and exactly as described. Please note that this area can be loud in the evenings; and we knew that booking the unit. I am looking to stay again in the fall because the check in process was seamless and the stay was cozy! I highly recommend.

This lovely flat at 36 Market Square is perfectly located. All the things you want to do (world-class dining, fantastic shopping, great nightspots) are short walks from your door. Even UT sports are only a twenty minute walk. Historic Market Square is THE center of Knoxville and on of THE best locations to stay in downtown.
You won't even need your car during your stay.
Supremely well located next to hundreds of award-winning restaurants, lively bars, art galleries, history museums, and boutique shopping of all kinds, this is the perfect place to stay for those who wish to immerse themselves in downtown Knoxville history and culture. A fair good amount of the places in downtown Knoxville are locally owned and operated, so you can really get a feel for our southern hospitality.

There are several multi level garages close by. Market Square Garage, Langley Garage, Locust St Garage. They are free after7 on weekdays and weekends (providing there is not a special event going on downtown). Also I recommend looking up on the website
www.downtownknoxville.org and it gives live updates on the available parking downtown.

What is there to do on Market Square?
Shopping?
Earth to Old City has be a family run business for over 25 years in downtown Knoxville, Located in the middle of Market Square that will have any unique gifts you might need. Don't forget to check out their newest shop Alice in Appalachia,..Cocktail shopping!

Music?
Preservation Pub has live music every night or Scruffy City Hall for nightly entertainment
or check out a show at the Tennessee or Bijou Theater right down on Gay St.

What are your beds like?
All our beds are Queen size beds. We do have pull our sofa in some locations as well as futons in a couple of Living rooms. Please check with the individual units for further details.

How do we get into the unit?
Approximately three days before check-in a welcome guide will be sent to you giving you the code for the FOB box which will get you into both doors of the building. The entrance on Wall Ave has the elevator. The entrance on Market Stairs is stairs only.
You will also get a code to unit door at that time.
