River's Reach is a cozy, rustic cabin right on the ELLIJAY RIVER. What better place to relax, maybe fish for trout of the deck, tube down the river, soak in the covered hot tub (no raindrops in your wine!) Roast s'mores over the waterside firepit, then later snuggle up and enjoy a movie by the woodburning fireplace. As one of Sliding Rock Cabins' romantic 1 bedroom properties River's Reach offers a perfect getaway for two. Woodburning fireplace, Propane grill, firepit, Wireless DSL, flatscreen TV's in living room and bedroom. PLEASE NOTE CANCELLATION POLICY BELOW.

This Sliding Rock Cabin is an ADULT ONLY cabin (no guests under age 25)

Pet friendly, both well behaved dogs and cats welcome.

We encourage you to protect your vacation investment with a travel insurance of your choice.

Access: Access to this cabin is via gravel, mountain roads. 4 wheel drive is not required, confidence in mountain driving is recommended.

CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULING/NO SHOW/EARLY DEPARTURE: Each cabin is privately owned and cancellations affect owners significantly. Cancellations, rescheduling, or changes must be submitted in writing and confirmed received by Sliding Rock Cabins® more than thirty-one (31) days prior to the original check-in date in order to receive refund, less a Sixty Five Dollar ($65) cancellation fee. Said changes regardless of reason made within thirty-one (31) days of your original check-in date will result in a forfeiture of all moneys paid. All moneys paid are non-transferable to another rescheduled date. Refunds will be given if Agent can re-book said dates with another guest limited to the extent of rebooking. Agents are not responsible for Guests inability to arrive or if Guests chooses to depart early for any reason, or if members of Guests party do not show up. Loved the location on the river and was so dog friendly. Perfect getaway. The cabin was clean and deck gates were perfect for our fur baby. We will definitely be back.

Awesome getaway!

This cabin was so perfect for us and our fur babies!!! This cabin has it all, creek outback, the hot tub, yard for dogs, even dog toys provided!!!! And so clean you would never know they allowed pets!!!! We will be back!!!

Peaceful Retreat

The deck right next to the river was the perfect place to read, listen to the water, and sip on a cup of coffee. My second favorite place was the bedroom with a huge tv and a separate sunroom with a great view of the water and a separate door opening onto the deck right next to the hot tub. The size is great for one or two people, and my dogs and I enjoyed our stay immensely. The cabin is pet friendly with bowls and towels for the fur baby and a fenced yard off the deck--great for letting the three of my fur babies out all at once. (I walk them separately on a leash.) Communication with the rental management was great. I left for home rested and with good memories.

Everything was as described and the cabin is very well maintained(would maybe recommend replacing the sofa in the near future). Only slight issue was the road was pretty rough getting to the cabin but that was expected. Overall we all had a great time and can’t wait to come back soon.

River Reach

Everything was great, communication was great. We enjoyed your short stay. Biggest highlight was bringing my pup! Thank you for that. Other renters / neighbors were super nice. Side note: the pest control showed up as I was checking out - not on anyone but was a little confused and user error it took me awhile to find the trash bin - on me! All in all I cannot wait to come back.

Peaceful and cozy

This rental is lovely. Its rustic vibe is very charming. It was very clean! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Furniture was very comfortable. The gas grill is a very good quality one, worked great and fast for most of our meals. The fenced yard is always appreciated so the furry family members can enjoy freely and be safe. The front creek view, the creek sounds…. Is what we’ll miss the most. We were sad to leave but will definitely be staying with sliding rock properties again! Communication with host was very seamless. Thank you for such a lovely stay!

Reviewer Comments: Enjoyed our time at River's Reach-the cabin was comfortable and cozy and the river's soothing sounds were great to sleep by.The small office directly overlooking the river was well set up and terrific.The only recommendation is to have the toilet seat changed and updated and to also start the process to have the dock repaired as it was damaged and we couldn't access the riverfront.The next door neighbor had just begun their dock repair process while we were there.The road isn't paved and while it wasn't terrible to get to the cabin-there were a lot of areas where the potholes were rather large.

Some drivers might be uncomfortable navigating it, but we had no issues. We were quite content at this cabin, and have no problem recommending it, but would likely pick a different cabin in the future.

Peaceful place to spend some time. The rental company did a good job with providing ample information prior to our arrival. Dog friendly with no extra fees.
