Best River VRBO yet!!

Absolutely loved the location of the property and all it had to offer. The house was perfect size and the deck with the hottub was lovely. The great room with large dining table, couches and pool table was a perfect gathering spot for our 3 families to hang out! We enjoyed the paddle boards, private beach and fire pit so much and will definitely be back again!!

With a beautiful setting, the property is right on the river, it is peaceful and quite. The host was courteous and thoughtful. Nice little touches that showed us they took care to make our stay an enjoyable and a comfortable one like lining up canoes and kayaks right by the river, placing firewood by the fire pit, having, having the hot jacuzzi on and ready to use......The property was well stocked from toys for the river fun to kitchen pots and pans for cooking. Everything was well thought of and organized. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Rachel's property was awesome for a weekend getaway. The yard is huge and has lots of fun activities for a group - kayaks, paddle boards, rafts etc. My group had a great weekend.

Incredible stay on the Russian River

Our second time renting this home because it is so great! The house and beds are very comfortable. The deck and hot tub are amazing. The private beach and river access are unparalleled. The host was very communicative and accommodating. We would highly recommend this home!

This isn’t the fanciest place. It doesn’t have a gourmet kitchen, the rooms and spaces are all clean but not sleek and modern. But how do you beat a location and a house almost guaranteed to make great memories of a private swimming hole, osprey feeding in the river, fog coming in over the beautiful trees? We are a group of old friends and this place was so perfect for a catch up after decades in some cases of not seeing each other. I would absolutely stay here again.

My organization had a weekend retreat and LOVED this property. Perfect location right on the river, amazing views, and lots of room. Rachel was very communicative and accommodating with us when our original booking was cancelled due to flooding. We definitely plan to return in the future!

Our family enjoyed the relaxed nature of this home. The view of and access to the river was great. Two of the upstairs rooms are listed as queens but they are smaller than that. It was a great spot to get away from it all.

We had a fabulous time at this house on the Russian River. We comfortably fit our family and friends in the house as there is ample space for hanging out - on the deck, hot tube, playing pool, fire pit/chiminea, boat, lounge chairs, river. It was pure bliss for 5 days. Will definitely reserve again!

Large, private riverfront property that has it all. Sweet location minutes from supplies in Monte Rio and minutes to the ocean. House has plenty of water crafts and toys to choose from with life jackets and such. We did a little canoe trip after swamping it on our beach before we took off (it's been awhile lol), we visited the redwoods, and some beaches near Jenner. Lots of stuff to do in the area and at the house including catching fish from the private beach - we caught a few every night. We loved the fireplace down by the beach and everyone slept well with the cool night fog. On the last day we wanted to extend but looked like it was booked. Next time we'll stay longer and bring more people as this house seems like it could handle 8-10 pretty easily. Cheers!

Great Location

Family and I came here with the kids for spring break. I can see the appeal of this home! It’s right on the Russian River, where you have access to many amenities including, paddle boards, canoes, and kayaks. Kids loved fishing! The home was spacious and clean with all the appropriate appliances to make dinner making easy. The outdoor patio with furniture, grill, picnic table and jacuzzi makes for a nice evening BBQ. Overall, I’d highly recommend and would stay in this home in the upcoming future.

We really liked the house. The beds were very comfortable. Beautiful view of the river. Easy to get on the river with the paddle boards! The only disappointment was the hot tub not working. Some of the girls were really looking forward to the hot tub but it was broken. A technician was sent but he couldn't fix it.

Great space for groups

This is such a fun space for a large group with plenty of activities onsite, access to the river, games and comfortable peaceful seating areas. The only things I would mention are that the upstairs beds could be bigger and the downstairs room and boat are very musty which could be an issue for people with allergies but not much can be done considering the area is prone to flooding. Also, another kayak or two would be amazing! I would definitely return

Summer Kickoff

Every summer, right after our son gets home from college, we plan a trip with our dearest friends who also has a son. (They may be dearest friends too.) Our boys bring their closest friends. It’s a small group and it’s the time every reconnects and celebrates summer, friendships and be back together. I could not think of a better place than RRYC for such things. We have been to so many places, but this hit different. It was welcoming, cozy and really just perfect for a group gathering. What a beautiful location. Thank you for sharing such a lovely space with us. We laughed, we cooked, we hot tubbed, we got on the river and cooked smores by the fire. We played games around the dining room table and curdled up watching movies in the living room. Our trip was perfect. Thank you.

Very pleasant stay

My family of 8 really enjoyed our stay here. Peaceful and so much to do between the kayaks & stand-up boards, the hot tub, the pool table, and the outdoor fireplace. I took away a star because the location is right on a fairly busy highway. While you are looking at the peaceful river and listening to the birds, you will also hear trucks and motorcycles zooming by. Now, some in our group felt it didn’t matter at all, others found it a distraction from the otherwise peacefulness - so you decide how it would affect you. Everyone in our group would be happy to return there.

Weekend getaway

We had a family getaway weekend with a wide variety of ages. The house was prepared for all ages. There was a kids corner with childrens toys, a pool table for the young adults and adults and movies of all genres. The house was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The boat house is more of a novelty than a useable space. We were disappointed by the water levels. They were so low and so many signs about an algae bloom kept us from enjoying the entire reason we booked the house- private access to the river. If we were to book again it would be earlier in the season so we might be able to enjoy the river.

Highly recommend and would stay again!

This house has everything you need kitchen accessory wise, beach kayaks/canoes/paddleboards, and even plenty of towels for the hot tub. We felt comfortable on the property with everything we needed. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for a large group. Many areas to lounge inside or outside on the patio furniture on the deck or even beachside on the chairs. We were charged $40 for a paddle not making it to the correct location at time of departure, even though I communicated the only other location it could have been left. My only comments would be to have more warm comfortable blankets near the pullout beds and a thorough cleaning on the laundry machine was needed. None of these comments would affect me recommending or renting this location again. The privateness of this property is truly beautiful and the access to a private beach is worth every penny!

Great place!

We really enjoyed our few days at the RRYC. The 6 and 3 year olds had a great time throwing rocks in the river when it was too cold to swim, and loved exploring the yacht. We also all enjoyed the various kayaks and SUP's as well as the bocce ball and horseshoes; there was a LOT to do! Kitchen was pretty well equipped as well. And Rachel was so very responsive and helpful; that was much appreciated! The only slightly negative thing to be aware of is that the suite in the basement is really cold (even when the weather was hot) and also damp so towels don't dry. So bring a sweater if you're staying down there! And, a clarification to the listing: the beds upstairs are all queen-size (the listing sometimes says 'double'). And those upstairs bedrooms, while smallish, are bigger than they look like in the pics. We loved our time here!
