Welcome to our beautiful home! Spacious and safe locked off lower level of 5000 square foot home (DOWNSTAIRS ONLY-empty nest owners reside on the top floor out of the way) tucked away in the foothills of Colorado Springs, but yet close to everything including world famous Broadmoor Hotel, golf courses, hiking, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, biking, park, Historic Manitou Springs and much more. Enjoy the breathtaking views & abundant wildlife. Large (locked off) living area, foosball table, dart board, bbq & large outdoor patio for entertaining. Kitchenette with larger refrigerator, large toaster oven, microwave, Keurig and coffee maker.
If working while playing, enjoy the safety of dedicated internet service. We always have at least 48 hours in between guests to allow time for cleaning, washing linens and sanitizing. We do take our cleaning seriously with the Covid pandemic. Home owners are vaccinated.

We charge a low $85 cleaning fee to cover time and costs to wash all linens, clean bathrooms and kitchen, vacuum etc. You are on vacation you will not be expected to clean or do laundry while you stay at our home.

We have lived in Colorado Springs for most of our lives and can help assist with any restaurant or entertainment recommendations to make your vacation a memorable one.

This property was perfect for my friends and I (3 ladies in our 60's). Beautiful house in a beautiful neighborhood. The hosts weren't in town during our visit, but made sure we had everything we needed and had someone on standby if something came up that we needed taken care of. The patio was so inviting and we spent a lot of time outside taking in the beautiful scenery.

Friends Getaway Weekend

2 other friends and I stayed for a long weekend while participating in a local race event. The hosts and hospitality were exceptional. Not only were the facilities exactly what we needed (separate bedrooms along with common area amenities), the hosts made sure we had the resources to ensure a great stay (as an example - laundry help and use of the hose to wash our muddy shoes!). The hosts were always available to help with any questions. Would definitely recommend and stay again the next time we’re in the area.

Colorado Springs Rental

We had a great stay at Will & Kat’s, the property was clean and had gorgeous views. Kat provided s’mores for my kids and they are such a nice couple. We enjoyed visiting with Will. We highly recommend this property.

Home in the hills

Attractive, clean and well -organized house.The owners anticipated our needs, and even helped me when I had difficulty finding the house at first due to road construction. It felt like staying at a friend's home.

LOVELY STAY

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful property. It is very spacious and its location is perfect. We used it as a base to enjoy the Colorado Springs area and found there was everything we needed: cooler, backpack, Brita water, snacks, umbrellas, coffee, etc. We are planning a return. Absolutley wonderful!

We have stayed at many VRBO properties with our young family but have never felt so comfortable as we did as this house! It was very clean, had all the amenities, not to mention toys, bed rails, plug in covers and a beautiful backyard all to us. Will and Kat were gracious hosts! Colorado Springs Retreat

Will and Kat’s house was perfect for our family of four. It was a quiet retreat after a long active day around town. Their place is well appointed with thoughtful amenities and the backyard was the perfect place to start each day. Our hosts communicated very well and offered their help to us as needed! Symposium VRBO

The property was a good size, comfortable, a good location for us close to the Cheyenne Mountain Resort. Beds were comfortable, and there was ample work space on the table in the main room. There were lots of things to do, if we had time to do them. Our hosts left us bananas and other treats, which were much appreciated when the flight was quite delayed and all of the restaurants were closed when we arrived. The hosts were there to greet us, and were friendly and helpful

Fantastic First VRBO experience

Wonderful

Homeowners were super nice. Mountain View’s from the back patio were the best way to have coffee in the am or watch the mountains glow with a sunset. Owners even made sure the patio was ready for us to use and provided s’mores fixings when we wanted to just hang out as a family. Everything was clean and they were very thoughtful in providing some basics, down to sunscreen and coffee. We enjoyed our stay tremendously and would stay with Will and Kat again.

Setting the bar high!!

First VRBO and Kat & Will set the bar high!!! Absolutely the best hosts you could ask for. We walked in and immediately felt like we were home. The rooms are beautifully adorned. WONDERFUL STAY!

We had an amazing stay! The property was updated, extremely clean, and perfect for us. The owners (Will & Kat) were wonderful. They provided some drinks, frozen water bottles for hiking, Gatorade, snacks, coffee, etc. They even updated us on the weather forecast during our stay to help us dodge rain while sight seeing. The property was close to Garden of the Gods, Red Rock Open Space, Manitou Springs and much more. We highly recommend it and would stay again. The property was even better than described. Communication with the owners was excellent. They always answered my questions promply and thoroughly.

Perfect!!

Everything about our stay was perfect. Our hosts were the kindest and most welcoming people you could ask for - they are kid friendly for every age range and went out of their way to make us all feel at home. I would recommend them to anyone - traveling with kids or not. They had the place fully stocked with amenities and overall made every step of the process super easy and accommodating. A Terrific Experience

A few friends and I were in town for a conference and stayed with Kat and Will. I had no particular expectation, but was absolutely blown away by the experience that was created. The spaces themselves were very cozy and accommodating. Furthermore, there were many added amenities and tools that were added that exemplified the experience which include: Gas grill Outside firepit Indoor fireplace with wood provided Snacks and ice cream Heated blankets Diverse furniture Foosball table Board games Darta And more things I would absolutely stay here again a return trip.

Best Place to Stay in Colorado Springs

I always read reviews before booking a rental, and I truly loved the property and owners. Dont hesitate to book this place. Its fantastic and so nice. There is plenty of space inside and out. The pictures are very accurate. All beds are comfortable. The owners provide so many extras. The big sectional sofa is great too for movies or visiting. The outdoor area is just peaceful and welcoming. The coffee bar was so appreciated before we left each day for a new adventure. Will and Kat are exceptinal hosts and such kind people . Great ambiance and all over vibe.

Kat and her hubby were just overall, kind, caring, good vibe people. They greeted our three couple group with a smile and great conversation. Made sure that their beautiful, tranquil back yard was so enjoyable. We had a family fire and played some music the first night. We also played Jenga and topped it off watching a movie on their surround sound tv. All 6 of us were longing comfy on their huge reclining couch. The beds were super comfortable. The place was very clean and Kat made sure we had fresh towels and kept up with the trash. Overall, this was by far one of the best Vrbo experiences I have had and I take Vrbo trips at least 2 times a year or more. I love the Colorado Springs area and I hope I get to stay there again.

A Gem of a Property Discovered!

Wow! Hands down - this is one of the best properties we've booked on VRBO and truly made for a most special Christmas holiday in Colorado Springs. While plans for some of us originally planning on being there were cancelled due to weather and airline challenges, those who spent the time there couldn't say enough good things about this home away from home and it's amazing hosts Will and Kat! From the initial communication and all details for check in and more to the beautiful and clean furnishings and all extras needed to accommodate the ages of all to the flexibility required to "fit" with travel changes to the kindness of the hosts, this property was fantastic! I would highly recommend this property and look forward to spending more time here when we come to the Springs and in better weather when we can enjoy all of the beautiful outside features as well. Thank you for everything, Will and Kat, and for making our holiday memories great ones right down to now counting you as friends!

The Hunt Family

We had the most amazing stay at this beautiful rental property in Colorado Springs! The space was perfect for our family of four, and the breathtaking mountain views were spectacular. We had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy our time together. The owners have thought of everything! The kitchenette was great for preparing light meals, with a large fridge, toaster oven, microwave, and all the kitchen appliances we needed. One of the highlights for us was the safety and comfort of the space. The entire lower level is locked off from the owners' private living area on the top floor, so we had complete privacy while still being close enough to get help or recommendations from the friendly owners when needed. There was a basket full of maps, recommended restaurants, attractions, and coupons set on a basket for us to choose our daily adventure. The property is tucked away in the foothills, providing peace, but still conveniently located near everything we wanted to explore, like the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo; there was never a dull moment. And if you love wildlife, you'll definitely appreciate the abundance of animals you'll see just steps from your door! We saw deer, bunnies, and wild turkeys. We also appreciated the attention to cleanliness—our hosts took extra care to make sure everything was sanitized and fresh. We had a fantastic stay! This space was perfect for us and our two adult kids to hang out, rest, play games, etc. The neighborhood is very nice, and the views of Cheyenne Mountain are breathtaking. There are plenty of restaurants and stores within just a short drive. Best of all, the hosts, Kat and Will, are incredibly friendly, gracious and helpful. We were blessed by our experience at their lovely home!
