Toskana zum verlieben

Tolles Haus, toller Außenbereich, schöner als auf den Bildern. Ruhig im Weinberg, umgeben von Olivenbäumen und Weinreben gelegen. Komplett eingezäunt, unsere Hunde konnten einfach draußen bleiben so lange sie wollten. Lorenzo ist ein sehr netter Gastgeber, immer ansprechbar und hilfreich. Vielen Dank Lorenzo. Montescudaio ist außerhalb vom Massentourismus, was für uns genau richtig war. Fußläufig ein top Restaurant ( BardoVino). Sehr gutes Essen zu angenehmen Preisen. Das Bistecca Fiorentina war ein Genuss. Reservierung ist zu empfehlen. Zum Strand ca. 15 Min. Schöne Märkte z. B. in Cecina o. Rosignano Solvay. Volterra ist ca. 30 Min. entfernt und definitiv einen Besuch wert. Wir hatten einen perfekten Urlaub.

Great holiday home in lovely position

First things first: the house, its position and the grounds are lovely. We had a great holiday there. The pool is big and kept very clean. There are two lovely outside areas to sit and relax. You can easily walk up to the village but are in a secluded spot yourself. The coast and Cecina with good supermarkets are a ten-minute drive away. There is a lovely pine forest between Bibbona and Cecina on the coast to walk or cycle through in order to find nice bits of the beach. Just a few remarks, not to be overly picky, but we did pay a lot of money for our two weeks there. There is wifi, but the internet connection is excruciatingly slow. Think of dial-up modem speeds. So no streaming of films. Even radio cuts out all the time. The house is well equipped in most areas but inexplicably not in all. The beds are good but the living room furniture is quite uncomfortable. Not so good if the weather is too bad for sitting outside. Finally Lorenzo is a very friendly person who speaks perfect English, but when we arrived at the arranged place and time he was not there. We could not reach him by phone, either. After more than an hour of sitting in the car in the baking heat while frantically phoning around we eventually tracked down his father who let us into the property.. Not such a good start, but after that Lorenzo was an excellent and attentive host..

Sehr, sehr angenehm!!! / Very, very kindly!!!

Situated at an very nice smal village. Beautifull cultivate complex and very clean. Everything what we needed is on-site. We was here with 3 persons biut it's possible easy to stay with 5 opersons. It is a lot of room. Quick support from lorenzo if hitches exist (lightning stroke). Lorenzo himself - the perfect host - really!!! Lorenzo - thank you very much - it was great! Your accommodation is really an recommendation - and we do it!!! Steffi, André and Johanna from Germany

Super huis, ideaal met honden, mooie omheinde tuin, veel privacy

Het huis is zeer netjes en compleet. De tuin is groot en volledig omheind. Voor onze honden een paradijs. Diverse zitjes, op ieder moment van de dag keuze uit een plekje in de zon of in de schaduw. Op loopafstand van mooi dorp met goede restaurants. Hondenstrand op 30 minuten. Riviertje waar je naast/door de bedding kan lopen met de honden op 15 min. Vanuit het huis kun je direct over een pad een half uurtje wandelen met de hond. Nette, attente eigenaar. Zwembad niet groot, wel fijn en verfrissend.

Wunderschöner Urlaub - Perfect Holiday

Wir waren 1 Woche bei Lorenzo zu Gast und waren begeistert vom Haus. Wunderschöne Lage mitten im Weinberg, die Außenanlage ist super gepflegt und bietet viel Platz für alle möglichen Aktivitäten. Die Terrasse mit Grill haben wir natürlich ausgiebig genutzt und uns danach in der zugehörigen Loggia wunderbar entspannt. Die Inneneinrichtung ist modern, großzügig und ist mit allem ausgestattet was man für den Urlaub braucht. Die Lage macht das Haus natürlich auch zu einem super Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge nach Livorno, Pisa oder ins schöne Volterra. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in Cechina (ca. 10 min mit dem Auto) vorhanden. WIr waren begeistert vom Fleisch- und Fischangebot und vom frischen Gemüse. Lasst euch ein Florentiner Steak vom Grill nicht entgehen! Begeistert waren wir auch von Lorenzo! Er war ein super Gastgeber, hat uns sehr gute Tipps gegeben, eine tolle Weinprobe in der Umgebung organisiert und war immer sofort erreichbar, wenn wir eine Frage hatten! Wir haben schon einige Ferienhäuser besucht, aber in Campo del Rosario ist wirklich alles perfekt! Vielen Dank Lorenzo! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! We we´re guests for about one week at Lorenzos House in Campo del Rosario and we loved it. Beautiful location in the middle of a vineyard, the outdoor area is well maintained and offers plenty of space for all possible activities. We have extensively used the terrace and the grill and relaxed afterwards in the associated loggia. The interior is modern, spacious and is equipped with everything you need for your holiday. The location makes the house also a great starting point for trips to Livorno, Pisa or the beautiful Volterra. Shopping possibilities are available in Cechina (about 10 minutes by car). We loved the meat and fish offer and the fresh vegetables. Do not miss a Florentine steak from the grill! We were also thrilled by Lorenzo! He was a great host, gave us very good advice, organized a great wine tasting in the area and was always available when we had a question! We have visited several holiday houses, but in Campo del Rosario everything is perfect! Thanks a lot Lorenzo! We will be back definitely!

Traumhaftes Haus mit liebevoll gepflegtem Garten

Wir waren für 3 Wochen in der Toskana und haben dieses Jahr das Haus- besser gesagt das Anwesen Campo del Rosario für diese Zeit gebucht. Es ist das beste Haus das wir in unserer 10 jährigen Erfahrung mit Häusern in Montescudaio gemacht haben. Das Grundstück ist eingezäunt , der Garten sehr gepflegt und liebevoll angelegt. Es gibt eine zauberhafte Loungecke im Schatten , Sonnenliegen und ein Pool. Des weiteren einen Eßbereich auf der Terasse mit ausziehbarem Tisch und einen weitern im Garten neben dem tollen Grill. Das Haus selber ist typisch rustikal toskanisch eingerichtet , die Küche perfekt ausgestattet mit Gaherd , Backofen und auch einer Spülmaschine. Es gibt eine Waschmaschine die den langen Aufenthalt natürlich etwas entspannter macht. Den Fernseher haben wir in der Zeit nicht genutzt aber auch dieser wäre vorhanden. WLAN zugriff stand auch zur Verfügung. Sehr gut fanden wir das alle Fenster ein Mückennetz und zusätzlich Fensterläden hatten , so dass wir mit offenen Fenstern schlafen konnten. Am besten aber ist wohl die zuvorkommende und nette Art von Lorenzo , der absolut zuverlässig war. Sowohl der email Kontakt im voraus als auch der herzliche Empfang am Haus und auch die wunderbaren Aufmerksamkeiten während unseres Aufenthalts waren einfach eine tolle Erfahrung. Wir würden jederzeit dieses Haus wieder buchen und werden es auch wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Liebste Grüße aus Berlin und weiter so Lorenzo!!

Beautiful property, beautiful gardens, terrace and veranda.

Found the house easily where we met the owner Lorenzo who is a lovely guy and speaks excellent English. We were given complimentary wine and olive oil, both of which are made from produce grown nearby, and both of which were excellent. After showing us around and giving us some local information, Lorenzo left us to it but gave us his mobile number in case we needed anything. The house itself is how I imagined a typical rural Tuscan house, with good sized double and twin bedrooms downstairs along with shower room, kitchen and lounge, plus a laundry room. There is an additional twin bedroom and WC in the loft. Just outside is an undercover veranda with open sides, perfect for your evening meal or glass of prosecco. The garden is large, and is equipped with a barbecue inbuilt to the outhouse. It is half grass and half paved, and there are 2 areas which are semi-covered providing shade equipped with outdoor sofas and chairs. There are also 2 sunloungers available. There is also an above-ground swimming pool which has a ladder that you use to access. The water was lovely and cool and is cleaned each morning by a member of staff who are unobtrusive. The grounds are totally enclosed with a fence and there is an electronically activated vehicle swing gate. The kitchen is equipped with oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker (but no kettle), gas hob, fridge freezer, cutlery, crockery, glasses (all types!) plus a number of other utensils. The lounge has a flatscreen tv with satellite box with channels in a range of languages. It also has a dining table with 6 chairs, high chair for small children, sofas and a chair. The wifi works well and the password is written on the welcome information. The local village (Montescudaio) is a 5 minute walk, mostly uphill! If you prefer to drive you can park 20 metres from the shops, bar and restaurants for free. We enjoyed a pastry and a cappuccino every morning in Bar Lupo for around 2.50€ each and sat outside listening to all the local charcacters of the village! Here you can also get gelato or a large beer very inexpensively. There are also newsagents, butchers, bakers and cash machines within easy walking distance. Campo del Rosario is around 50 minutes drive from Pisa airport, mostly on motorways. There is a toll for the autostrada of 6.80€ each way. Nearby Cecina has a large Coop supermarket and is a 10 minute drive. When we left we were given t-shirts by Lorenzo which was a nice gesture!
