About this property

The Island Suite at KW Vacation

The Island Suite is part of a historic Key West property built around 1889. Suite #16 is located on the first floor at the rear of the 411 William Street building. The Island Suite has one of the premiere locations in Old Town, Key West with lively Duval Street just 3 blocks away and the neighborhood boasting some of the finest older homes in Key West.

The private suite has its own entryway. Once inside, it is divided to include the bedroom, bathroom, and living area. The living area is equipped with a full kitchen. The suite includes a private covered porch and access to the hotel pool which is located just opposite the entryway. The property is a lush tropical setting with palm trees, winding paths and courtyards to relax in. It is a true Key West experience.

Check In and Check Out:
Check in is at 3:00 pm. Check out is by 11:00 am.
In addition, all guests will have access to the hotel grounds for the day.

Island suite 16 is located on the first floor at the rear of the 411 William street building.
The access code for the Island Suite 16 will be provided to you on the day of you check in.

The Island Suite 16 is located at Island City House 411 William St, but is privately owned and not affiliated with Island City House Property Management.

We are a privately owned suite located at 411 William St. Key West. We are not run by the Island City House management group. You can come directly to us for any questions or concerns instead of the Island City House front office.

The Island Suite has one of the premiere locations in Old Town, Key West. This block of William Street boasts some of the finest older homes in Key West including the B.P. Roberts House across the street. He's the one with headstone in our cemetery that reads "I TOLD YOU I WAS SICK". The Historic Key West Seaport is a short two block walk to the north. Duval Street is three blocks to the west. And there are numerous great restaurants and specialty food shops like the Eaton Street Seafood Market in the neighborhood. This place is full of historic charm and in the perfect location.

Awesome place to stay. Very close to everything we wanted to do. Parking is of course NOT easy in key West. We managed to snag a spot a block away, and never moved the car. But we knew about that up front, so no complaints, just stating a fact. Bed was comfy, water was hot and plentiful. The Garden area in the hotel complex was so cool. Really a nice quite place to stay, yet close enough to the action on Duval.

It was a nice place! The grounds are so relaxing with waterfalls. The private porch we used everyday.pool was heated which was nice in the evenings. The host was very quick to respond.

Great neighborhood gem!

My husband and I come down to Key West every January. This little place was absolutely perfect and the nicest place we’ve stayed at yet! It has everything you need for a short little getaway. It’s just a few short blocks to Duval Street and the communication with the property manager was excellent. We would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend this place.

Awesome experience!

Our stay was perfect! The bed was great, sheets and comforter SO soft, and lots of small amenities, like Starbucks coffee for the Keurig and q-tips, cotton pads and hair ties in the bathroom. Vlad was super responsive when we needed anything, and the location was close enough to walk everywhere we needed but far enough from the loudness of Duvall. Would definitely stay here again!

Charming Key West

We loved the location of Island Suite. Enjoyed walking the quiet streets of this charming historic Key West neighborhood. Centrally located to walk everywhere: Duval street, local sights, shopping, seaport, fantastic restaurants nearby, live music. Plus the suite equipped with kitchen is spotless, bed is comfy, verandah (pool too) ideal for relaxing. Very responsive host. We will stay again!

Great location

We stayed for four nights and enjoyed our stay. It’s close to everything and they have a bike rental store a couple buildings down. The office on site (external property management only, they’re separate from Vrbo unit management) let us store our luggage there on check out day until we could pick it up in the afternoon. There’s also a shower by the office with towels you can use if you want to take a quick shower before leaving for the airport. Super convenient!

Island Suite

Everything was fantastic! We only had one issue. There is a 15 minute unloading zone right in front of the property. We had to park about 4 blocks away and carry our luggage down the street. We walked to dinner and coming back the people finally moved their car.....2 hours later.

Nice but noisy

Very cozy place to stay but just too noisy for us. Construction next door to the pool every weekday morning starting at 8am made the pool hard to enjoy. Also, the steps to the units up above our unit went right in front of the front door of our unit. All and all it was nice, but noisy in our opinion.

Perfection

What a wonderful property and host. This is the perfect place for a getaway, far enough from Duval that you have a peaceful rest, but an easy walk to all the activities. We followed our hosts suggestion, parked our car and never moved it until check out. The spacious kitchen and bonus outdoor seating area allowed us to enjoy peaceful mornings before starting our day. The outdoor area was also great to enjoy conversation with other guests, and had an oasis quality as being in the back of the property there is no visual to the street, only the beautiful garden area. The suite itself had all the amenities we could want, great water pressure, USB ports and outlets close to the bed for charging devices, full size refrigerator freezer, coffee maker, and the blender for those afternoon libations by the pool. We are already planning a return stay!

Key West Rental

The room was very nice and clean, just don't look under the bed, really don't look under the bed. The rooms were in very good condition and looked to be recently painted. There was a very small amount of mold starting to grow on one side of the tub. The kitchen has everything that you need to cook if you didn't want to head out to one of the local restaurants. The waterfront is a short walk from the house. The house directory was well thought out and provided a lot of good information. Probably one of the best I have seen so far. There is a private porch that you can relax on however the camera placement ruins any sense of privacy. The owner could have done a lot better job with the placement of the cameras to protect the property and the privacy of the guest. Forget about parking on the street unless you get it very early. The parking garage is a short walk from the house but be advised it will cost you $42.00 a night to park there. No discount or weekly parking is available. This would have been an issue if I was staying more than one night and the owner should disclose this in his listing. If you have mobility issues than this isn't the rental for you
