Long Weekend

This unit met our needs overall. As others have noted the shower in the upstairs bathroom is not easy to use. The lock to get into the house was also difficult to work but we were able to eventually get it to work. Location was convenient and central.

Beautiful great location

This apartment was fantastic. Clean comfy beds and kitchen had plenty of dishes for cooking. The location was great. Store a block away and the square and shopping maybe 3 blocks away. Easy check in and out. Would definitely stay here again. Loved it.

Barely met expectations

Good location, bedrooms were fine but can’t really call this 2 bathrooms. Upstairs shower was made for tiny people. And the shower head hung limply from wall - broken. Basically a 1 and 1/2 bath. Stairwell (4 flights) was dirty. A light was burned out so section of stairs pitch dark and dangerous to walk. Would not stay here again nor recommend to anyone.

The property is perfectly located in Lisbon downtown old city. The apartment is spacious, clean and have almost all needed amenities like "Espresso machine, kettle, Toaster, washer, and many others". If you are booking this apartment, please be aware that parking a car is painful in this area, so plan ahead if you will need a car as this apartment area is not parking friendly. The apartment needs some maintenance and an air conditioning in the big bedroom, specially when it is the last floor and exposed to the sun most of the day. People in Altido "The managing company for the apartment" are very helpful, and that's a plus. Again, this apartment is located in a perfect place in downtown Lisbon, where most of the attractions are located.

A bit sparse in features, weird upstairs bath

Building is nice tho some of the stairway lights did not turn on which made navigating up/down a bit awkward. The living room room furniture looks beautiful in the foto but kind of beat up in real life. Walls are scuffed and dirty and kitchen is kind of rag tag. The upstairs loft bedroom has no lighting bedside and the bathroom is difficult to use: poor lighting, crazy positioned shower. Both Bedroom air cons makes a lot of noise.

I don’t even know where to start. Booking made on Vrbo. Somewhere between booking and arrival property mgt company changed. We were receiving messages about self check in with no real instructions. We arrived thinking it would be evident and it was not. It turns out (1) payment which was to be processed the day before had not been processed due to change in companies and (2) vrbo took zero responsibility and offered no assistance. Luckily one of the messages mentioned a local address where we could store luggage so we drove there. The gentleman knew about the mgt company change and provided a number to call. It took over three hours and many phone calls but in the end payment was processed and we had access to the property. Once there we realized the apartment was in a state of disrepair and not as clean as it looked. Kitchen trim hanging or missing, bathroom sink stopper mechanism broken so a knife was required to prevent stopper from falling into the trap, broken furniture, stained sofa, lamps that cannot be used due to no nearby outlet, no pods for clothes or dish washers, no courtesy pods for Nespresso machine, dirty floors as evident by my no longer white socks.In addition there was no light in the elevator and the main entrance code box stopped working so we were stuck on the street with no access. I don’t know if this will be seen as I believe vrbo is longer listing this property, but if it is visible, I recommend you pass on this one.

Not bad but with some issues

The property wasn't cleaned and ready for our arrival, so we had to call to get cleaners to come in. An hour later we returned, and it still wasn't done. So quite a bit of hassle at the start. I had pre-ordered champagne & gourmet chocolates, and breakfast. This was a TOTAL waste of money - the "champagne" was cheap local sparkling wine and the "gourmet" chocolates were a cheap €8 box from Nestle. The breakfast was little to speak of. Other guests would be well advised to avoid this and just visit the (very nice) nearby supermarket instead. Otherwise, the flat was reasonably quiet, well located, and perfectly pleasant, if nothing special.

Great location but beware

Although this property is spacious enough for a family and in a great location in the heart of Baxia, it lacks consistent hot water. We repeatedly found ourselves bathing in cold water or scolding hot water. The hot water heater kept shutting down or kicking off circuit breakers. The upstairs shower, is very small and needs repair. At a minimum they should also have a shelf that can house your soap and shampoo. There should be no reason to reach onto the floor in such a small area. There is a floor board upstairs that has rotted through and can easily twist an ankle. It’s almost impossible to sleep with the air conditioners on due to the rattling noise that they produced. . One of the downstairs bedrooms didn’t even have an air conditioner. The kitchen is well equipped and modern. It’s a shame to mention these problems but management needs to be aware and repair these issues for this to be a viable vacation spot.

Parfait pour tout faire à pied, bus et tram( la fameuse ligne du 28), train (à proximité des gares du centre ville). Appartement très spacieux et bien équipé. Gros point noir : un chauffe eau qui ne délivre à peine de quoi avoir une douche chaude entière! Vraiment dommage car nous étions 6 avec 4 enfants dont 1 bébé

Wonderful Stay in Lisbon

We stayed in this apartment with 3 of our boys (ages 17, 14, and 12) and really enjoyed the place. The apartment is large, clean, and had plenty of room for all of us. The beds were comfortable though the sheets felt starchy and somewhat itchy. The views from the windows were great and it was relatively quiet except for one night when crazy stuff was happening with late night revelers on the street. It's a bit of a maze when you first get there because of all the rooms and doors, but it was a really beautiful spot to hang and rest our heads. Having the A/C was also great because we were there during a heatwave! The location cannot be beat; you can easily walk to so many other districts and downtown. The Elevador do Castelo up the street was a fun way to cross the street, so to speak. :) And there are soooo many great restaurants nearby. The easy/quick walk to the Alfama district was really great as well. The only downsides, I would say are the fact that you need to go to a secondary location to get the keys and that the upstairs shower is pretty much unusable because the showerhead had to be held and, even when we tried it, so much water escaped due to the ill-fitting shower curtain. On the key pick-up, they do offer a car service that knows to drive you there then to the apartment, but we couldn't avail ourselves of it due to the timing of our flight. All in all, we recommend this place and would 100% stay here again!

Great stay in Lisbon

This was a great apartment for our family of 5 adults. It is located in a great place and very close to metro, trains, buses, shopping and you can easily walk anywhere. It felt very safe and was very quiet at night and the beds were comfortable. We didn't use the upstairs shower because there was no holder for the shower head. The kitchen was very big and well stocked. I wish we didn't have to go to an off-site office to pick up the keys though. The washer to nice to have in the apartment and the elevator is small and slow but worked just fine. Thank you for a great stay, we really enjoyed Lisbon!

Wrong apartment so not exact review

The check-in process was awful, but COVID is to blame. They did not meet us at the property so even though we received a key to the front door, we did not receive a key or key code to our apartment. After 4 1/2 hours of waiting (mind you this was from 11pm-3:30 am) we were eventually let into another apartment. That apartment was not what we paid for, however it was clean, had a large living area and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked. There was only one bathroom and a shower curtain would definitely help as water goes everywhere if you try to "shower". There is a grocery store within 1 minute walk and so much near the apartment.

Je recommande ce logement. Situé à un endroit clé du centre de Lisbonne, il permet d’avoir accès à tout très vite, à pied ou en transports en commun. L’agence sur place propose aussi un service de consigne, très utile entre le départ du logement et l’heure tardive du vol de retour.

Wonderful unit

I stayed here with my two daughters and it coul not have been more perfect. Great location, walking district to Alfama, Baixa, BA, Chiado. We walked to the water every day. Near Tram 28, trains, metro. We ate very locally and had wonderful meals. The grocery store is just up the street. The unit is spacious and lovely. We had plenty of room for each of us to spread out. The apartment was in great condition and had everything we needed. It was very quiet, though it was in the midst of everything. We will certainly be back. Thank you for a great vacation.

Wonderful apartment in the middle of town.

We arrived early and we were able to occupy immediately. It's a beautiful 3 bedroom 2 bath apartment on the 4th floor with a view of the ocean. It has a large kitchen with everything you need if you want to cook! We preferred to eat out but bought some cheeses and meats in for a late snack after a large lunch. Walking distance to just about everything you need to see. We found a little cafe/port shop that we frequented every evening before retiring for the night and it's name was FALIS and if you decide to go say hi to Roxanna for us, she's sweet and introduced us to some awesome Port. All and all a great place to stay and you won't go wrong. ******
