NOTE: While the driveway is 100% paved it is STEEP which is common in North Georgia mountains. We DO NOT recommend cars with trailers. If you are not comfortable driving up & down a STEEP driveway, please do NOT book with us. This is especially true if you are an inexperienced motorcyclist rider.

Great honeymoon

Really great location. Beautiful and clean house tucked away in the woods. A few rogue bugs came in, but you're in the woods so that's to be expected. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay and will be coming back.

Weekend get away.

We had a great time on a best friend’s getaway this weekend. The house was immaculately clean and equipped with everything we needed. We had a laugh navigating the driveway, but once we got it, we got it! The home was very quiet and peaceful to come back to after long days of adventuring.

Gild panning adventures

We booked this place as a hub for a gold prospecting adventure. This place is wonderful just as advertised. Privacy was top notch everything we needed was provided for us, except groceries of course lol. But all in all this was a fantastic trip and a very nice place to stay. Thanks to Peter for the easy communication and a wonderful stay. Highly recommend.

Peaceful Retreat

Blissful Seclusion

The perfect place for a serene getaway. Peaceful and lovely all at the same time. My cousin and I stayed here for a friends wedding at a local winery and we couldnt have chosen a better place. The decor is very modern and comfy. The home is spotless and the fireplace puts you in the most relaxing mood. This will be my go-to in Dahlonega.

Wonderful mountain escape!

We had the best time at Nordic Overlook! The house was super clean, beds were super comfortable and the house had everything we needed! We have had stayed at many VRBO’s but this was definitely the most stocked with all of the essentials- toilet paper. Cleaning supplies , dish soap- and new sponge, laundry detergent and trash bags. It was super thoughtful. We will definitely be back!!

Nordic cottage in the trees

The driveway is steep long and winding both up hill and down. But it was so much fun. My girls and I walked several times a day from the house to the gate at the front of the property. We saw so many deer. It is the most wooden property in the neighborhood.

Nice Stay

We had a nice stay at this property, there were a few bumps, but they were able to be resolved somewhat easily. The property was smaller than the listing led us to believe. The kitchen is exceedingly small and difficult to maneuver. The living room is poorly set up, as there is no good way to sit to see the TV or another person; additionally, the number of windows in the living room result in a significant glare on the TV, making use difficult.
