The cabin and deck are absolutely gorgeous. The owners did an outstanding job. A gas fireplace is always a plus for me, too. Great beds and linens and soaps! The location is perfect, just a few minutes away from downtown and hiking. I have been going to the mountains for the last 15 years and this here is my favorite place to stay. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Bruce, who is a wonderful host and very nice person. He and his wife live right next door but don't fret, you have plenty of privacy.
We loved the porch and deck out by the River, the s’mores night at the campfire, and the entire cottage itself. It was perfect place to host family over for the evening. We hope to come back!
My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and had an AMAZING time! The property was clean and welcoming, with amazing access to the river and town! Bruce and Lisa were so kind throughout the duration of our stay, as well. We would absolutely recommend this spot for any type of stay!
This property is wonderful. The cabin has all the amenities of home with extra attention to detail. The view of the river is amazing and so relaxing. The location is great and very close proximity to downtown Dahlonega. We will defiantly look to stay here again on our next visit to the mountains.
We stayed for 4 nights using yhe property as a base to explore waterfalls, photography, hiking and birding hotspots. Nice location just outside Dahlonega along the Chestatee River.
Enjoyed eating on the proch
Wonderful stay at the cabin on the river! Everything we could possibly need as well as a Christmas tree! Place was immaculate and went well and above what most VRBOs do. Convenient to Dahlonega as well as day trip to Helen. The fire pit overlooking River was fabulous. Would definitely stay again.
This cabin was immaculate, extremely well equipped, everything worked perfectly, even all the light switches were labeled. The floor plan with 2 master suites was perfect for 2 couples. We enjoyed the large porch overlooking the river and our host, Bruce, told us to look for the family of ducklings and a pair of bald eagles. Dahlonega is a cute town to visit and we did several hikes in the area. We can’t recommend this cabin enough and certainly hope to return!
Lovely cabin which was nicely stocked for guests. Enjoyed the back porch and listening to the water. Delightful area to explore. Dahlonega was a pleasant experience. Definitely would recommend!
We were in town for a wedding and stayed at this beautiful cabin. The cabin was very clean and was stocked with everything that we needed. The owner was very nice and easy to work with. We hope to come back one day.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was so clean and the amenities were great... plenty of towels, soaps, detergents, etc. All the essentials were provided. The creekside setting was so peaceful. We would love to return to this cabin as a base to explore the area further.
Nice well-equipped home in a very scenic setting. It was also very quiet. Easy access to the area, and there's even a little hiking that can be done right from the house.
This was our 3rd stay at this vacation home. Everything about it is perfect. All the furnishings are comfortable, including the bed. The porch overlooking the river is a wonderful plus!
