Property Manager quick to respond

The unit was not clean upon arrival, but he sent a cleaning crew out a day later. Microwave was broken for couple days then Manager brought a new one. Last two days hot water stop working.

Great if you just need a place to sleep!

There are two rooms, each with two double beds in them. One of the rooms has a full-sized fridge, microwave, and small table. The other has a closet and connects to the bathroom. We were two college students and a professor in town for a conference, so this is good if you are a group looking to save some money. It worked perfectly for us since we didn't spend much time there. It would be harder for anyone needing to cook full meals, but for us, it was great. The price was reasonable, too. The location is good, as you can easily get on the highway. Check-in and check-out were super easy and convenient. The place was clean and in decent shape. The next door neighbour has a dog that barks a lot but it was not really an issue for the most part.

Extremely disappointing

This rental was so bad. I’m surprised that VRBO would let their name be used for it. It was dirty, there was mold in the bathroom. The furniture consisted of 4 beds. There were no chairs, no table, nothing. The so-called kitchenette consisted of a refrigerator, that’s it! No microwave, no coffee pot, no dishes, no sink (except in the disgusting bathroom), no stove. The front door didn’t fit the opening properly. You could see outside on one end when it was closed.There was a rusty screen door, but that didn’t fit the opening either. We certainly didn’t feel very safe. The yard was just sand and dirt. No lawn chairs. I have used VRBO rentals often. I had never been disappointed before. Also, we are still waiting to get the security deposit back. I have emailed the owner several times about it, but he/she has not responded. Other than email, I have no way to communicate with the owner. We sure would appreciate your help with this matter. Okay let’s start off with the check in process. This person Sam, I don’t know if it’s a man or woman, did not properly start the check in process. I pulled into the driveway not knowing what door to go to, what the code was, where to park, nothing. So they finally reply to me an hour after my check in time at 5 o clock, after we had already been driving around wasting time after the airport since 9 am. We were tired. So we finally get in, and there is NO kitchen. No microwave, nothing. There is a refrigerator but that’s it. There is no televisions, just 2 beds in one room, 2 in another, and a small bathroom. The bathroom was disgusting. It had black mold on the bottom trim near the toilet and in the shower, the condensation from even a SHORT shower would become so bad it would drip from the walls and ceiling and leave the floor soaking wet, we wasted 2 of the 4 total towels provided for our 9 day stay on cleaning up water. The front door has several holes in the cracks, allowing for a ton of airflow and a ton of bugs. My body is covered in bug bites. So on top of all of this, this person made it VERY clear no smoking was allowed inside or outside the premises whatsoever, think I was told that about 4 or 5 times, and that if they came by and smelled any smoke or weed that they would have us kicked out immediately with no refund. So today we check out, everything is normal until about 5 hours after we check out, where they send me a message telling me that I obviously had smoked inside and had left a mess and spilled blue “stuff” all over her white table. I could not believe what I was being accused of. We did not ONCE smoke inside or outside of her property. Not once, there is simply no possible way she could be smelling smoke. So they withhold my security deposit, leave a horrible review on me, and refuse to send me pictures of the “blue stuff on the table”. Absolutely DO NOT stay here, one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had.
