"BEACHWALK", ( a simple beach house), a 3-minute walk to the beach, HOT TUB, Large HOT ROCK SAUNA, ELECTRIC MASSAGE CHAIR, Bally's Game Show Pinball Machine, Tabletop Pac-Man Machine, PlayStation 4 and Wood Burning Fireplace as well as electric heat. Belgium Waffle Machine, popcorn, and Sno-Cone Machine. 4 people maximum at all times, including guests and children, due to septic system capacity. No guests or parties. Age minimum of primary renter= 25. Pets allowed $60 fee, dog-friendly beach. Coffeemaker; drip, Keurig, expresso, grinder and bring your own favorite coffee. There are no stairs in the house( a small number of stairs on the outside deck); which is good for wheelchair accessibility. Walk a 3-minute sandy path at the front of the house to the water or walk on a small road; which will take just a little longer. Fantastic views, closest to the beach of all Dillon Beach homes, Dog-friendly beach. Pets allowed (please pay the pet fee on the VRBO site); shedding dogs keep brushed, uncontrolled barking not allowed, if you go out and leave your dog alone :please don't leave your dog alone the first night, please clean up the back sandy area of dog poop. Sand dunes, tidal pools, dune grass, and magnificent unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean sunset. It is a fantastic surfing beach. Watch waves break onto the beach and listen to the surf while sitting in this beachfront house. Great place for children; to make sand- castles, explore rock inlets and tidal pools at the north end of the beach, hunt for the unknown during the low tide exposed beach, or play for hours in the tall sand dunes. View Parasail surfers, boogie boarders, and longboard surfers, or do it all for yourself. It is the perfect beach with no underwater rocks. Star gazing couldn't be better. Bring your telescope! Let the waves lull you to sleep. Wheelchair cannot roll to outside main deck area due to 3 steps. Please bring your own firewood for the fireplace; there is also electric heat. Bar soap is not provided, but liquid soap is provided. This is a very simple beachhouse, (not a modern house; as renters expect) due to its very close position to the Pacific Ocean, (which renters prefer), does take constant upkeep due to the exposure it gets from the Pacific Ocean.

Overall a great stay, with a great location. The house is an eclectic mix of furniture, decor and arcade games that made our visit comfortable and fun. Being right across from a dog friendly beach was incredible. We found the hot tub to be a little dirty so we didn’t use it but overall the house was sparkling clean.

Great location and comfy house

Location was great within feet of the beach. Views were great and the hot tub was well protected from the wind. King bed was very comfy and got some time in with the massage chair. Will be back.

Wind Surfer paradise

This home is one of the oldest in Dillon. Very close to the beach. The backyard does not look like the pictures. Again the house is for windsirfers. We had a lot of time to sleep and relax

We wanted to have a beach vacation before school started, and this was the perfect home for us. The beds were very comfortable, and our son sleep on the pull out couch in the living, which was very comfortable too. The kitchen had everything we needed as we cooked most of our meals at the house. There were so many amazing parts of the house that made it so special. The location, literally a walk across the street to the beach. The back yard, sitting in the hot tub with views of the beach, relaxing in the sun and hopping in and out of the sauna. True vacation for me. But finally, the pinball and arcade games were a super bonus for us as we love playing these games together. Also our dog couldn’t have been more happy with multiple long walks on the beach. We will for sure stay here again. Can’t wait!!

Great Getaway

Had a great view of the ocean in multiple locations of the property. Short walk to the beach which was great. Nice amenities like the hot tub, sauna, and arcade games! Great stay for a small family of 4 or couples getaway.

Relaxing near the beach

Property was as described, which was perfect for us. Super close to the beach - could hear the waves. The property was comfortable with wonderful amenities including the hot tub, sauna, and games, as well as numerous kitchen appliances.

Beautiful views from this cute beach house. Fully stocked. Host was great.

Fabulous location with spectacular views. Enjoyed the hot tub and the beach. Had a little problem with septic but host acted quickly. Hubby and I enjoyed our 30th anniversary getaway. Hope to go back.

Wonderful location

Wonderful location. Issue with sauna. With that said the host tried two contractors to resolve issue. All in all great location, enjoyable stay and engaged host.

The house with the million dollar view

You could just spend all your time gazing out the glass doors onto the ocean, or sunset or sunrise. You’re a 3 minute walk from the glorious beach. The house was very comfortable, although it could have used a better supply of paper towels, Kleenex, napkins and placemats, dishwasher detergent and a working blender. But again, the house is mostly dreamy and idyllic, the perfect retreat for a couple looking for peace, quiet and beauty.

Just what we needed

We were looking for a nice place to stay close to the beach that welcomed dogs, and this property truly delivered. Steps from the beach (and easily accessible for my 79 y/o mom), and walking distance to the tiny downtown, the location can't be beat. This is the only vrbo rental I've been to that has a massage chair, and I used it right away. Beds were comfy. The hot tub was nice, though in the very cold weather I would have appreciated it being set a degree or two higher. Our dogs loved the beach, and the fenced in yard was perfect for them. The single bathroom and small kitchen are tiny factors overwhelmed by the location and other amenities of the property.

Stunning views. Lovely home

We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful view fr the house. I had to go buy heaters though because I couldn't get warm enough from the one small floorboard heater and the one electric heater provided. I run cold however. There was garbage under the sink when we got there and no extra garbage bags ( a first for me) be sure to bring your own Sarah wrap, aluminum foil and ziplocs as none are provided. Otherwise it was wonderful.

Beautiful Birthday weekend!

Loved the house! We had some trouble figuring out the 2 TV's. My only complaint about outside was the deck out front had glass around it, to protect you from the wind, which was great, but it was very dirty from the salty air. I suppose. Wasn't great to look through. Other than that, the hot tub, massage chair and sauna were great! Oh....the light inside the sauna was not working...or we didn't know how to turn it on??? Perfect location! Thanks so much! We will definitely return!

Could be a gem!

Kitchen cabinet doors and the drawer fronts were sticky and greasy! Everytime I had to get a fork or a plate I had to put gloves on to open the cabinet or wash my hands with hot soapy water. Very gross! A fabulous glass enclosed outside deck with a perfect view of the beach, ocean, sunset but unfortunately completely neglected! There was an inch of dirt and spiderwebs on the glass and plants growing up through the floorboards. This place could be so great if it was better maintained!

Great location

Unfortunately this was a 74th birthday weekend. I had a serious case of the flu. Asked owner if I could reschedule but he said no he couldn’t refund. Didn’t ask for refund just reschedule. Had to stay in bed. Internet was being repaired so no tv or phone. Repairman came in afternoon. When he left the internet went out every 3 mins. Frustrated I called the guys multiple times. Finally stayed on in late evening. Cottage is lovely. Needs some repairs. Every sliders locks were broken used sticks in rail. Nail in wall with sofa instructions dangerous for anyone sitting on the couch . Everything was clean and I would come back to this lovely spot again. Could use steak knives as the only sharp knives were huge. Lots of amenities, sauna, hot tub, pin ball, massage chair. Beautiful beach view, very private.

Location, location, location!

Staying directly across from Dillon Beach with our young teen and two dogs was the perfect way to vacay over “ski week” during the pandemic. It was an amazingly dog-friendly and kid-friendly beach in every way. We loved the restaurant for to-go food and the market just up the street from the house. We enjoyed the house for its beach views, massage chair, hot tub, backyard, and bbq (we didn’t use the sauna). However, the house is older and could definitely use more TLC. From the mildew smell to ant invasion to urgent need for a house cleaner, we had our fair share of challenges over the week. The owner was always available, very responsive to our needs, and friendly. He readily shared ideas on things to do and places to go in the area also. My advice…if you’re staying longer than a weekend, request additional bathroom and kitchen towels before you go + bring or buy additional paper towels, napkins, and toilet paper at the market. Take all reviews into consideration, because whether you’re happy with this rental or not depends greatly on your expectations. To the owner: please update all of your photos as a lot of the indoor and outdoor furnishings have changed (some replaced with newer and some with older furnishings) to set proper expectations for renters.

The view is Great -But

The lights outside don’t work and putting tape on them is not a fix,The shower is not enough to wash yourself and I’m bald,My wife is Hispanic and has long hair and it’s impossible to wash her hair.The bbq is older than me ,Invest in a new $ bbq once in a couple years..The curtains we’re non existent in the front room as he told me but made sure to charge for pet fee.The furnishings were moved and was told they would be moved back to there normal spots but were not..I love this place for sure but being honest how I feel is just me..And the bright side the pinball machine was awesome and the massage chair was a big plus…But I’d give up both to have a shower that my wife and I could shower properly.,I hope this helps because it’s a great place but nobody says what I did..I might be blocked from ever renting again but if soo those things would be greatly appreciated.Also we left the place spotless.,ask the cleaning lady.I’ve rented here twice.Love it for the most part..Thanks,
