About this property

Charming, spacious, exceptionally clean & private apt! Ideal Ithaca location!

Our beautiful 1 bedroom apartment is the downstairs of our family home located in a quiet, family friendly culdesac, close minutes from downtown, shopping, routes 79, 89 and 96! As mentioned, our family occupies the upstairs unit and we’re a couple in our 30’s with two little boys. The apartment is a fully remodeled 950 sq ft., fully furnished apartment, new appliances, with a beautiful kitchen and spacious bedroom and bathroom. This spacious apartment is extremely clean and well appointed with high quality materials. It is well insulated and toasty warm in winter! Heat is provided by a beautiful and cozy natural gas furnace that is completely safe and vents to the outside. It is connected to a thermostat that is up to you to control. Hallway and bedroom both have heat provided by electric baseboards, also for you to control with thermostats. AC is a window unit, located in the spacious bedroom, only - but it is fully functioning and does the job of keeping the apartment cool. We provide a smart TV for our guests in both the bedroom and the living room, but we ask that you use your own netflix/hulu login, though WiFi is included. We do not provide cable TV. Lawn is always well cared for, whether it is summer or winter time! Bedroom is fully furnished with a queen size bed with an adjustable base that includes a USB plug and night light, and we do offer a mini crib with a thick crib mattress safe for your little one. A queen size air mattress is available in the unit as well for an additional guest. We have included a sound machine for an even more comfortable rest! Living room has two couches and a large smart TV, which could mean more sleeping room for those accompanying you! Dining room table seats 4 and the brand new kitchen has full size appliances including the french door refrigerator with a built in ice maker. Bathroom has a large vanity and lots of storage space and a dual magnetic shower head with a tub. We do have exterior Arlo security cameras on site, as well, for everyone’s safety and soundness. One is located in the front to monitor the parking area and the culdesac, the other is located in the back by the entrance but definitely facing away from the entrance door! In addition to all the amazing amenities we offer with our beautiful private apartment, we’ve placed plenty of family games in the living room for you to enjoy! Brochures and other fun area booklets are available to view as well so you can learn this beautiful Ithaca and surrounding area better and enjoy it to the fullest! We look forward to hosting you!

Highly recommend! Would absolutely stay here again! Branka was an amazing host, very quick with communication, made sure we had everything we needed at check in and even offered an airport pick up (we didn’t need it but was a nice offer). Her place was cozy and comfortable with plenty of lthoughtful touches like snacks, mints on the kitchen table and information on local attractions. We also loved how convenient it is to Ithaca College and downtown Ithaca. Thank you Branka!

Great Stay

Our 3 person family visited Ithaca for a concert/long weekend and this was an excellent place for a small family. Everything was clean and tidy. Not "in town" so you don't get the noise of the city, but close enough that it's not an inconvenience to get around if you want to do in town activities.

We enjoyed quite a lovely stay. The apartment was so comfortable, cozy and clean! Parents Weekend Stay

We recently traveled to Ithaca for Parents Weekend and had the absolute pleasure of staying at this meticulos property. The hosts communication prior to and at arrival could not have been better. This warm and friendly family makes you feel right at home. The apartment is beautifully decorated and spotless. Charming downstairs apartment in quiet neighborhood

Extremely well maintained downstairs apartment. Kitchen looked like it had recently been renovated. Newer appliances. Lots of little extras, like water, snacks, toiletries, etc. Towels and linens were provided. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Perfect Ithaca Trip

It started 2 weeks before our trip. Branka was AMAZING. The communication was excellent and she is so very friendly. The apartment is beautiful, newly re-decorated, and in a perfect location to see the most in the Finger Lakes. We were absolutely comfortable and the little touches throughout the apartment made it even more memorable. Ive already recommended to friends and would recommend to anyone looking for the perfect getaway in the finger lakes. We will DEFINITELY be returning

Clean and comfortable

The space was absolutely clean. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed, including a coffee maker and an electric tea kettle. There were snack items waiting for us. Branka was incredibly easy to communicate with. It was nice to have a Wegman's grocery store nearby. Sometimes we didn't feel like either cooking or eating out, so we liked buying some meals to heat up and eat. I'd definitely stay at this location again!

The owner, Branka, as well as her husband were lovely. The apartment is spacious with a very large bedroom and well equipped kitchen. Branka had gone above and beyond in so many ways, from a little basket of snack foods to a multi cable charger to plugs in the outlets in case someone was traveling with a little one. The apartment was immaculate and had very pleasant (and new) furnishings that made us feel cozy. The location is excellent if you want to go into Ithaca, walk by the river, visit Cornell or Ithaca College, head to Buttermilk Falls or Robert Treman state park, or visit some wineries. We were also very close to Ithaca Beer Company. This was a very enjoyable stay and we would definitely stay again!

Felt Right at Home!

My husband & I spent a week at this very comfortable & cozy apartment while visiting good friends in Ithaca. Branka and her husband have done a splendid job of renovating and decorating and the effort they put into the remodel definitely shows. The furniture is very comfortable, the decorating nicely done, a “welcome” goodie basket awaited us as well as refrigerated water bottles. There are thoughtful touches throughout and the large guest umbrellas came in very handy! Branka was quick to respond to our inquiries. The apartment is conveniently located to downtown - and Wegmans! We would not hesitate to return.

Very well maintained and comfortable one bedroom unit in two level residential building. Everything was in great working order, furnishings are new. Pretty ideal for a couple who wants to do some of their own cooking. Owners live on top floor, friendly folks. Jacuzzi and outside table are included in set up.

Super time in Ithaca

This was probably one of the most enjoyable VRBO’s we have ever stayed in. We were there for our 60th High School reunion. The hosts were very helpful and great to work with. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience (well I guess we could have asked but it would not have happened since everything was perfect). A very modern and spacious accommodation in a very quiet area. Deer were browsing this morning as we were preparing to leave. Very idyllic. Branka and Zoran were the PERFECT hosts. Every little detail was attended to: spotlessly clean, hot water, great shower pressure, welcoming decor, streaming TV service with ALL the channels you love (HBO-MAX, NETFLIX, PARAMOUNT, DISNEY+ etc etc), extra bathroom essentials provided (SUPER fluffy towels, shampoo, toothpaste, youth brushes, mouthwash), snack basket, security nightlights to light your way to the private rear entrance (a little steep, so watch your step!), very cool in the summertime (a natural gas stove is provided for cozy winter nights), TRANQUIL setting where your door opens to 180 degrees of pristine forest with birds singing and chipmunks and squirrels playing in the morning), an adjustable bed (!), fan, spacious, clean fridge, fully supplied kitchen, comfy living room area. WI-FI. THUS PLACE HAS IT ALL at very reasonable rates for Ithaca. AVOID THE OVER-DEVELOPED AND NOW-CONGESTED ITHACA DOWNTOWN AREA: Stay with Branka and Zoran’s place and treat yourself to a real retreat! (Yes, they heaven provide a meticulously maintained SPA, right outside your door, even though we did not take advantage of it)

We are easygoing, friendly, hard working professionals. I am a commercial lender and Zoran works for Cornell University, we have lived in Ithaca a very long time and love it here!

We recommend our property because we go beyond making sure our guests are happy and comfortable. All the special touches and efforts truly make it a home away from home! We sincerely believe this apartment is the perfect place, as it was fully remodeled by my husband and i who worked very hard to make it a home! You won't be short of anything while staying in our apartment, we offer everything you would need to make your stay amazing and comfortable.

To best learn of all things we offer in the apartment, please look through the photos. The photos do not do the apartment justice, but do give you an idea of how much effort and thought we put in for our guests with all the extra amenities and touches! The apartment is also in an ideal Ithaca location, close to everything you would need during your stay. It is located in a family friendly cul-de-sac, where it is very quiet and peaceful. This apartment is located within the City of Ithaca limits with a touch of country in the backyard, it is absolutely perfect for you and your family!
