This 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom upper unit Beach House is just steps from the sand. Immaculately decorated and cozy, the furnishings contribute to this unit's inviting, relaxing atmosphere. There is a balcony on the front of the main level and two sundecks upstairs. Which allow guests to take full advantage of outdoor living and are perfect for sunbathing, relaxing with a good book, or enjoying a sunset cocktail - ocean views! The main balcony has a BBQ. Living area is open to kitchen and dining area, and opens onto the front patio. Kitchen features center island and marble countertops. Bedroom on main level also features a desk. Upstairs master and guest bedrooms both open onto their own sundecks (all w comfortable patio furniture).

Only 30 seconds walk to one of southern california's most beautiful beaches! Very attractive an totally upgraded house granite counter tops with back splashes in the kitchen, stainless steel refrigerators, gas stove, dishwasher, and inside laundry.

Living area is open to kitchen and dining area, and opens onto the front patio. Kitchen features center island and marble counter tops. Bedroom on main level also features a desk. Upstairs master and guest bedrooms both open onto their own sundecks. The kitchen is fully equipped w oven/stove, french double door refigerator & dishwasher, both washer and dryer are inside for easy laundry.

Classic beach cottage that oozes charm! 3-bedroom/2 1/2 bath elegantly beautiful unit that is just steps to the sand! This home looks like it just stepped out of the 'Pottery Barn' catalog. The upstairs living room is bright and full of sunshine.

Great week at the beach

Wonderful location, accommodation and management

The Beach House is one block from the beach, boardwalk and a grocery store. It’s a very comfortable home with everything provided that you might need in the kitchen, and all rooms of the house and the 3 patios as well as for a day at the beach. Gary, the owner/manager was very friendly and very responsive to various questions/issues that came up during my one-month visit.

A delightful retreat

Gary’s Paradise was a perfect get away. The location was a short walk to the beach, allowing us to enjoy the sunset each evening. The location was also conveniently located to many restaurants. The condominium was clean, beautiful and relaxing. Gary was a wonderful host and was prompt to answer any question we had. We would love to revisit soon!

Great location!

We had a great time renting Gary’s place!! It was in a perfect location, close to the beach, stores, and restaurants! The house was beautiful and comfortable and had everything we needed plus some. Gary was a great help to answer any questions and he even saved a parking space on the street for us for our 2nd car upon arrival!! Thanks for a great week!! We will be back!

Great Stay at Beach House!!!

Our family enjoyed every minute of our stay! Gary made sure we had everything we needed for our arrival and even left us some treats to munch on!! The house is well equipped from the kitchen to the bedrooms and bathrooms nothing is overlooked. The three balconies all offer views of the ocean, the sunsets were beautiful. Short walk to restaurants and grocery stores and the beach is literally a 3 minute walk down the street. We can't wait to come back!!

Great beach house

Everything from start to finish was perfect with Gary's Beach House ... he was attentive throughout the booking process, our arrival and during the stay. He even brought us food snacks for our arrival - very thoughtful. The location is great, the house is very nicely decorated and stocked ... couldn't have asked for anything more or different. Highly recommend and will return.

Absolutely Delightful

My wife and I stayed here for a change of pace after working from home the last eight months on the east coast. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. 1 block from the beach with views of the ocean and Catalina. Walking the beach every afternoon enjoying the beautiful and varied sunsets. Gary was an exceptional host. the place was fully appointed with everything we needed and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. This location is exactly as promised and more.

Wonderful location

We enjoyed our stay and loved the proximity to the beach, the climate, and overall location close to amenities. The home was basically clean and the decor comfortable, but some things need attention to make it more welcoming for a long-term stay. We've stayed in dozens of vacation rentals and what brought our overall rating down was: the tired and somewhat ratty sofa (not the same in pictures); the flaking off of the faux leather finish on most of the dining chairs and sticky table top; tired pillows, linens and towels; and the disarray of 2 patio areas. For example, the screen to the main level balcony was laid on its side outside, gas canisters and decor were strewn around the grill, the table umbrellas were on the ground and needed to be placed into the tables; the patio furniture was pretty dirty and had to be wiped down

All comments or suggestions are welcomed & valued. I spoke to these Guests several times during their stay and accommodated promptly with my handyman to adjust a faucet issue when requested. Which was taken care with no hesitation. Unfortunately, none of these other comments were made during their stay. If they had been I would have addressed them responsively. My goal is to always have satisfied & happy Guests. In future, it is most helpful if there is any disappointment about something that it is made soon after Guests arrive (within the first day or two). Then I can do my best to accommodate quickly & responsively. If something needs attending to at anytime during a Guests stay I will action responsively. Receiving information after a Guest has left does not best assist in helping to improve their current stay. Also, It should also be mentioned that during strong local Santa Ana winds the table umbrellas are taken down so that they do not fly away. The outer decks & furniture can acquire some dust with these winds. A simple telephone call to clean, replace or fix something internally or externally any time during a Guest stay is all that is necessary. Quick action will be taken to mitigate promptly.

A quick trip to the OC

Gary’s beach house was exactly what we needed for our quick stay in the OC. We were driving our daughter down to UCI to get settled in at her dorm. It was a 15 minute drive to Campus, 30 seconds to the beach and in the middle of everything we wanted to check out. We only utilized the front balcony off the family room, but if we would’ve stayed longer, the other 2 decks would’ve been great as well! The bed in the Master was comfy, the shower had GREAT water pressure and the Carport was large enough to fit our XL SUV. Unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to really enjoy the home. Gary’s hospitality was second to none & our best experience in the 10 years of utilizing VRBO. We can’t wait until our next stay in Gary’s wonderful Beach Retreat!

Wonderful!

We really enjoyed our stay in this beach house, with an open floor plan, 3 balconies, and an ocean view! Having 2 ½ baths. a washer and dryer, and a full, fully equipped kitchen, was so convenient, for when our relatives came to visit. We loved the location – 1 ½ blocks to the beach, 2 blocks to a major grocery store, and a short walk to Newport Pier w/shops and bike rentals. Gary was an excellent host, going out of his way to communicate with us, before, during and after our stay; to make sure we were well taken care of, and that he had answered any questions or concerns we may have. If we had a problem with anything, he was right on it, to take care of it ASAP. We would definitely stay again, and recommend it to others!

Wonderful Newport Local Getaway

Our family of 4 loved our visit during the winter holiday break at Gary's great getaway, situated in a wonderful Newport location. We felt like locals – enjoying walking 2 blocks away from the sandy white beach & boardwalk, riding nearby rental bikes on the bike path, and being walking distance to restaurants and cafes and even Pavilions grocery store for home-cooking, easy access to surfing lessons at Huntington and hiking at Crystal Cove. This 3 bedroom brightly lit upper unit had a comfortable feel with the hardwood floors, outside decks and comfy beds with good linens. The covered parking spot and safe neighborhood for our teenage girls to explore were key. Gary was the host of the most – giving us a great orientation to the area & its Lido Marina, Wedge, Balboa Island and was so responsive to all our needs from inquiry to arrival and checkout.
