This house was perfect for our group! Our kids were camping at Mauch Chunk lake with their scout troop and it was just 10 min up the hill to hang at the camp for meals, but walk down the hill and enjoy the ambiance of Jim Thorpe. This house is far enough up the hill that its quiet, and you can take the back toadstool avoid the traffic on broadway by the train station, but you can easily walk down the hill and be in the heart of all the shops. Jill was responsive to questions prior to booking to be sure it was a good fit for us, and her binder of instructions and the wall of pamphlets was great for those looking for things to do nearby. The house is filled with little trinkets of history and has plenty of room to stay and hang as a group but not feel on top of rach other. The house is old, but nicely updated and maintained. I will definitely be booking future stays with Jill at the West Broadway Switchback House!

This was the perfect house with lots of beds for our family! It was super clean, comfortable! walkable to shops and restaurants in Jim Thorpe and a short drive to ski mountains!

A perfect place to stay in Jim Thorpe. The host was great with communication. The home was well organized and very clean. We went up for the Winterfest and a concert at Penns Peak. We had a great weekend!

A beautifully decorated, well-equipped, and comfortable location from which to access the many attractions in Jim Thorpe. Off-street parking is a plus. One bathroom might be a challenge for larger groups, but for us (3) was not a problem.

The Switchback house is lovely! House was spotless and very well stocked, had everything necessary for a wonderful experience. Location is very convenient to downtown Jim Thorpe. We had a great time and would highly recommend the Switchback House!!!

Beautiful property

My friends and I booked this place last minute when our other house canceled on us 2 days before. We stayed here over new years and had a blast. Owner was very accommodating and communicated well. The place was super clean and in a great location within walking distance to the town. I couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Great house

The entire family enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean, had lots of games and toys to entertain my grandson. To the point he didn't want to leave. The host was very easy to work with and the checking in and out was easy.
