West Broadway with private parking!

The Switchback House was built in the early 1900's and has recently been fully remodeled. Families find this to be the perfect home to share memories. Our home is in a quiet area of West Broadway, yet still within walking distance to the Historic District. The house even sits on an access point to the famous Switchback Trail - perfect for hiking and biking! Jim Thorpe also offers whitewater rafting or winter activities at Blue Mountain. Please don't hesitate to ask us questions about the area!

A beautifully decorated, well-equipped, and comfortable location from which to access the many attractions in Jim Thorpe. Off-street parking is a plus. One bathroom might be a challenge for larger groups, but for us (3) was not a problem.

Very nice, spacious home. 6 adults stayed there for a rafting weekend. Very good water pressure and hot water. New carpets had some off-gassing July 2025. Very close to a pleasant walking trail, and only a 20 minute walk into town.

The Switchback house is lovely! House was spotless and very well stocked, had everything necessary for a wonderful experience. Location is very convenient to downtown Jim Thorpe. We had a great time and would highly recommend the Switchback House!!!

Beautiful property

My friends and I booked this place last minute when our other house canceled on us 2 days before. We stayed here over new years and had a blast. Owner was very accommodating and communicated well. The place was super clean and in a great location within walking distance to the town. I couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Great house

The entire family enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean, had lots of games and toys to entertain my grandson. To the point he didn't want to leave. The host was very easy to work with and the checking in and out was easy.
