About this property

MAJESTIC MEMORIES - 3 LEVEL CUSTOM CABIN!

Tucked away in the Smoky Mountain woods in laid back Wears Valley sits a beautiful 4 bedroom custom log cabin that your entire group will love! MAJESTIC MEMORIES is the perfect place for just that, creating your own memories that will last a lifetime! This semi-private 4 bedroom, 5 and a half bath sleeps up to 12 guests, just a few miles from all of the attractions, restaurants and shopping of the Great Smoky Mountains Area, but feels like your far away from all of the distractions.

Description:
Just under 2.5 miles from US 321 (the road that leads from Pigeon Forge to Townsend and Cades Cove) you will find MAJESTIC MEMORIES. There is a horseshoe driveway that will park up to 5 regular sized vehicles. Upon arriving, you will notice that though there are other cabins in the vicinity, you will feel like you are all alone. The house sits on a large lot (not on top of other properties that some resorts.) The first amenity that will catch you eye is the outdoor fire pit! Bring your own wood, marshmallows, graham crackers and chocolate and you’ll be able to make the ultimate fireside treat, Smores! There is a bar-like seating area if you would prefer to cook dinner over the fire as well.
Walk up a few stairs and open the gate that allows you wo walk on to a huge, covered porch. A porch swing, picnic tables and several rocking chairs are exactly what you are looking for when thinking about the cabin experience, and you have all of that right in front of you. A Propane grill is also on the porch for steaks, burgers, hotdogs or whatever you feel like grilling. Your favorite part about the porch might be just relaxing each morning with a hot cup of coffee, listening to the birds sing while you get yourself prepared for whatever adventure the day might bring!
Punch your code in the front door lock and enter the cabin…. Wow! An open floor plan reveals large windows on both sides of the house to let the natural light in and create that “mountain” mood. The ceilings 30 feet tall and ceiling fans and a unique antler chandelier are wonderful! The living room, kitchen, dining room all share this large space, along with a card table and half bath. Whether you are preparing a meal, watching the game, playing rummy or just relaxing, everyone can gather with plenty of space and enjoy the company of each other. Finally, the stone gas fireplace will keep things warm in the cooler months and becomes the background for great family photos. Before you get to put your things away, you will be thrilled that you chose to stay a MAJESTIC MEMORIES!

This house was disgusting

This was a terrible house, it was dirty throughout, a bat flew over heads at night until my husband could get it out. The basement was musty, my husband had a hard time breathing after sleeping down there. There was hair in the shower and sink, there was spaghetti sauce all over the kitchen outlet. The ping pong table was broken and gross, the air hockey table had less then half the air holes working, there were bugs and ants through the house. There were no games for the Nintendo or gaming systems. The fridge wasn’t on when we got there so our cold food spoiled since it took a full day for the fridge to get cold. There were absolutely no condiments of any sort, not coffee filters or anything, every other cabin we have stayed in at least had coffee filters, not to mention most other condiments. I would stay far away from this place is was a terrible experience.

Just Us from Michigan

The cabin was great if you can stand going up and around some steep hills (LOL). The view from the cabin wasn't great to see the mountains but we came to enjoy the get-a-way from Michigan. All of the cooking utensils were available to include a coffee pot. Cable TV through out the property but no premium channels or smart TVs to watch movies on Netflix or Amazon Prime. (which would've been a 5 STAR!

Christmas vacation 2019

*A lot of dust and webs on the deer and fans in living room **Ice maker in freezer didn’t work. The motor continued to run but no ice came out. Had to go buy bagged ice. We did call the management company upon arrival about this matter to let them know. **The water pressure in upstairs showers was terrible. Pressure went out if someone was using water anywhere else in house. ***Downstairs bedroom had a very bad odor. We went and bought candles to help cover it but it didn’t help much. As my daughter was packing her clothes up from the dresser drawers, she noticed a dead rat stuck on a sticky rodent pad under drawers. We have pictures to send. This is where the foul odor was coming from. This should be removed and taken care of immediately. Other than these issues mentioned above, we enjoyed the house very much. It was nicely decorated for Christmas. There was plenty to keep the kids entertained. Great size house to give everyone privacy when needed! We would come back again! Thank you.
