If you are looking for outdoor activities they abound. Many hiking trails right from Cripple Creek, Mueller State Park or a visit to Florissant Fossil Bed National Monument is just a start. Property is located in walking distance of Historic Downtown, Casinos, Seasonal Steam Train, Gift Shops, and Restaurants. Really good WiFi too!

Location and comfort

We enjoy this sweet old house. It is within walking distance of everything in Cripple Creek from the train to the theatre. A great place to stay for any of the amazing Cripple Creek events. Karla is always quick to respond to any messages and is very sweet and accommodating.

We have stayed in a lot of places but this little house was perfect. Quiet and real close to salt grass steak house which has perfect ribeyes. All in all if we go to Colorado again we would most likely stay there again

Gold Mine Getaway

We enjoyed our visit to Cripple Creek. This house was perfect location. We were able to walk around the town and see everything. The house had everything we needed. We would recommend to anyone scouting a quiet getaway within hour of hiking, historical sites and scenic byways.

We had a great stay! Karla and Patrick were awesome and so accommodating. The house was perfect. Great location and it met all of our needs. Our daughter was performing at the Butte Theater so the location was perfect. The casino across the street was very appreciative of the money we left there. Great experience!!

Horrible!! The house was so awfull!! Spiders everywhere and just so Dirty!! I would never recommend this house. The floors were filthy and the smell was just terrible!! The refrigerator was dirty. It was so Bad!! Never again! We left a day early! We were so upset and so disappointed!! I just couldn't believe it!! I would rate this a O!!

This home is exactly as pictured online. The home was ready for our arrival and clean when we got there. Access instructions were detailed and easy to follow. The beds were comfy. We have 3 people in our family, and the house had everything we needed with plenty of space. We enjoyed our stay!

We are located very close to all amenities in Cripple Creek. Home is located right near the Steam Train, Wildwood Casino, and Mollie Kathleen Gold Mine Tour. Just a block from downtown Cripple Creek (Bennett Avenue). Easy to get in and out of, with single story living, and excellent parking in back. You can literally walk to restaurants and casinos within minutes.

What makes this property unique

We have Wi-Fi, Roku, Netflix, and DVD movies provided. Even though this home is almost 120 years old, electrical has been updated to modern standards along with heating and plumbing. We provide pots, pans, cooking utensils, plates, cups, silverware, refrigerator, coffee machine (standard), microwave, etc. We also have someone that manages the property locally. Vintage looking radio also is equipped with Bluetooth audio. All information on property is located to guest book provided in home.
