About this property

Island Time Cottage

This cozy, freshly renovated cottage is perfect for families and friends to have an island getaway. Less than 2 miles away from Chincoteague's main attractions, and only a few minutes drive to the beach, this is the perfect vacation spot.
This spacious 450 sq. ft cottage features an open concept floor plan, with one bed room and bathroom. A queen bed in the main living area, and a bunk bed with a full and single bed in the bedroom.The outside offers a screened in porch, outdoor charcoal grill, outdoor shower.


Linens for bed and bath will NOT be provided.
There will be a 100.00 per night extra charge for any emotional support animals.
You will be sent check in information a few days before your stay

Please try to leave cottage as clean as you would expect it for your stay, the next guest and the owner will greatly appreciate your cooperation.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Island Time Cottage. It was in a great central location for all our activities yet privately located on a quiet road. It is a nice sized, lovely cottage, well maintained by the owner. The owner was very accommodating to our needs. I would recommend and would return.

Very cozy little place! The kitchen was very well stocked! Our only problem was that we didn’t bring bedding or towels. Upon reading the listing more thoroughly I found where it said to bring them but missed it the first time.

The room was very clean and such a reasonable price! My friends and I went the week before Memorial Day, so for 4 nights the total cost was cheaper than the cost during prime beach season. The parking was easy and right next to the house. The house was secluded, so we didn't have to worry about traffic or loud neighbors. The drive to the shops and beach were about 10-15 minutes. 10/10 would book again!

Chincoteague is a rough-and-tumble, working-class paradise that somehow manages to be both laid-back and unforgettable.For the full local experience, make time for a visit to ChincoTiki and Teaguer's—two island institutions that perfectly capture the island's personality.My only suggestion for the owners: rename the cottage Nevaeh Sands, because Nevaeh is "heaven" spelled backward, and after a stay here, it would be a fitting name.The primary bed features a wonderfully plush mattress, while the full-size lower bunk practically cocoons you into a deep, restful sleep.The shower deserves its own five-star review. The water pressure is phenomenal—strong enough to wash away whatever questionable decisions you may have made the night before at ChincoTiki or Teaguer's.To top off your stay, celebrate with dinner at AJ's on the Creek. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is classic Chincoteague, and if Holly is your server, you're in for a fantastic evening.
