Grandpa's Cabin is a beautiful pasiega house in the village of Selaya, instead of valleys, forests and rivers that reach as far as the eye can see in the region of Pas valleys. Carefully restored to preserve the architecture and style of the area, it has all amenities and facilities, as well as wireless to ensure a unique stay vacation. Upon arrival a beautiful wooden porch roof to the entrance of the house, welcomes the traveler and gives an idea of the atmosphere that permeates the area.
Its large garden is surrounded by the typical "low wall" stone used to separate the edge, has barbecue, sun terrace with garden shower and stone picnic area with incredible views. Also it includes parking for customers.
In cattle land, these houses were used to house livestock and pastoralists, now becomes the perfect retreat for 8 people in its four rooms: yellow, maroon, blue and sand, many with access to terrace and all with large windows to enjoy nature. The house has 2 bathrooms, each on one floor, the upstairs has a spa bath. The ground floor highlighted by a successful distribution that leaves a game of spaces and heights, getting beamed ceilings and a spacious feeling by the stairwell in his living room with fireplace, TV, DVD, library and games collection table. The kitchen stands out for its breakfast bar in brick and wood paneled rustic furniture. It is equipped with wooden benches, all appliances and utensils.
A decorated and designed to detail cottage must be added the environment, the region of Selaya, land of valleys is one of the most beautiful in the community. Two rivers run through this territory, the Pisueña and Campillo, where you can also find mountains, forest and meadows so the guest can enjoy a multitude of paths and trails, adventure sports in the river or horseback riding. Pas valleys is undoubtedly the best kept secret in Cantabria.

Very nice place to stay, comfortable, clean, renovated inside. Cows next door have bells and make noise all night long but we got used to them and they didn't bother us much!

Una maravilla de casa rural con grandes vistas
Una casa de piedra y madera con todo el menaje necesario para disfrutar de un unas navidades perfectas en paz y armonía con la naturaleza que la rodea.
Buena acogida por parte de Ana, sus indicaciones y recomendaciones sobre la zona fueron perfectas y la chimenea encendida fue un detalle.
Fuimos 4 parejas alojadas con un bebé y la estancia fue estupenda. Para repetir!!! Hemos estado en más casas rurales, pero tan cuidada como esa ninguna. Merece su precio aunque sea un poco más elevado que otras de la zona, por sus instalaciones, mobiliario, las vistas, la bañera de hidromasaje y cada detalle con sus velas, sus flores, chimenea, barbacoa, los juegos de mesa, la biblioteca...la calefacción central super potente...y la paz que se respira dentro y fuera.

UNA ESTANCIA INCREIBLE
No nos sorprendio el lugar pues habiamos estado haciendo una ruta por la zona hace unos meses con un grupo de montaña y nos enamoramos de las vistas y de esos prados verdes tan caracteristicos de los Valles Pasiegos. No obstantecuando entramos en la casa si que nos sorprendimos: preciosa atmosfera, decoración rural y muy cuidada, muy limpio, las camas una maravilla y completito de menaje, el jacuzzi super relajante y disfrutamos un monton de la barbacoa. Lo mejor la bienvenida que nos dieron los dueños y lo peor por decir algo las vacas que habia cerca que me daban miedo.
