Casa Alux is a unique 3-bedroom, 3-bath villa in Akumal Norte designed with two round thatched-roof buildings connected by a breezy marble patio and a serene infinity pool overlooking the Caribbean. The main villa includes a fully equipped kitchen, living/dining area, and a queen bedroom with ensuite bath. The second villa offers one king bedroom with ensuite bath, plus a third bedroom with two twin beds and a trundle, also with private bath. The villa comfortably sleeps 6 guests.

The outdoor breezeway is shaded and airy, perfect for hammock lounging or listening to the ocean. Large panoramic windows fill each room with light and sea views. Amenities include WiFi, maid service 6 days/week, beach towels, and optional cook or laundry service. AC is available in the two back bedrooms only; the front palapa and shared areas are cooled by ceiling fans and ocean breezes.

The home is a 5-minute walk to Akumal Bay and Yal Ku Lagoon, and within walking distance to restaurants, dive shops, and eco-parks. A rental car or private driver is recommended for day trips to Tulum, cenotes, and archaeological sites. Please note: the home is on a septic system—guests should use provided waste bins for toilet paper. No pets allowed.

This is the second time we have had the pleasure of staying in this property and we again had an absolutely wonderful experience. The hosts are fantastic and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The accommodations are comfortable and beautiful. There is interesting, native artwork everywhere you look, a huge library of books to choose from, excellent wifi, a fully stocked kitchen with an ice-maker and blender, both essential for making icy tropical drinks!The private infinity pool is perfect, and the view of the ocean is panoramic due to the round nature of the houses. Lush gardens surround the property and there is an abundance of wildlife, including tropical birds, hermit crabs, and even iguanas that will soon eat hibiscus blossoms from your hands if you are patient enough to befriend them. What more can I say? Probably a lot more, but rest assured, this vacation property is truly a dream come true in Akumal.
