Charming, intimate, and beautifully appointed with expansive views, it hits all the right notes. Jalousie shuttered doors open out to a large wooden deck with an informal breakfast and dining area. Off the deck is a private pool with vistas that take in the golf course and the coast. The cottage is fully self-contained with an open concept kitchen and living area that is bright and breezy. The double bedroom is air-conditioned and adjoins a unique, romantic semi-outdoor shower. Guests can enjoy a truly laid back, tropical retreat, and just exhale.

My husband and I stayed here for a part of our honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect. The view and the pool are incredible. It's very private yet easy to get to in a rental car. There's lots of great restaurants and beaches within a 20 min drive and really close to two golf courses. The staff at Blue Sky Luxury were very helpful with directing us to places we wanted to get to. Great place and even better people, I would recommend it to anyone.

We loved our stay here . The property exceeded our expectations. It is very spacious for two people - with a large bedroom and bed, nice outdoor shower and good kitchen - lounge area. The outside area is lovely with a nice seating and eating area on the terrace with beautiful views over the Cap Estate. There is a gas bbq, made it nice to eat in. The little plunge pool is a great addition with further seating. Very well equipped and Blue Sky proved very responsive with a couple of issues we had with the electrics! The pool was kept clean and it was also cleaned during our stay. It is a great base for exploring this part of St Lucia - with the beach, Pigeon Island and many restaurants only a 10 minute drive away. We would definitely return here if we go back. Definitely make sure you get supplies in Rodney Bay before you reach the property as there are no shops close by.

great location, very private

My wife and I loved the area, it was very private which is exactly what we were looking for. It was very close to rodney bay area, short drive to beaches and pigeon island.

This place is super special with amazing views. Be careful what time of year you book as we had a LOT OF RAIN !!! The housekeeper is truly wonderful, Very knowledgeable and friendly A great place to stay in the Rodney Bay Area.

Loved the Plunge Pool!

Loved the views from the deck, and good air conditioning in the bedroom. You would definitely want a rental car to stay at this property as it is more rural location but it’s only a 10 to 15 minute drive to the Rodney Bay area with options for restaurants & beaches. Lots of Birdsong and night sounds, and colourful sprays of bougainvillaea and plumeria. Friendly Housekeeper and groundskeeper as well as management staff, who checked in with us when we arrived. We loved the plunge pool, being able to dine, regardless of the weather, alfresco and the options for lounge chairs.

Great Cozy Cottage

My husband and I had a great stay at Orchid Cottage. Brian was there upon arrival and explained everything to us. The view is incredible and it was just enough room for the two of us. Thank you to Margueritte for always being available when we needing something.

Lovely cottage with a fantastic view from the deck and quiet, private surroundings which is perfect for a relaxing holiday. A car is pretty essential as restaurants and supermarkets are not within walking distance but there are lots of beaches and bays within a 15-20 minute drive. The hosts are easily contactable if you need anything and the cottage is well equipped. In all a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

I just want to say everyone who is a part of the Blue Luxury team is fantastic. It was my boyfriend's birthday, and they gave the best recommendations. It's so nice seeing how concerned they were with making sure we got to the place safe. The housekeeping kept everything wonderful. The location is so close to restaurants, beaches, and parties. The view is also incredibly unreal! When I look through the pictures, it looks like AI on the deck. Please do yourself a favor and book with them!

An amazing first trip

My fiancé and I traveled for the first time and decided to stay here based on the reviews and location. It did not dissappoint it was the perfect mix of having staff and independence. The place was the perfect size for the two of us and Brian and Sherma were absolutely amazing providing transportation, cottage cleanliness and some delicious goat curry, and great recommendations to local areas. It was amazing to get up, take a dip in the pool and relax on some days and other days head to local beaches. We will definetly be coming back, if you're thinking about spending time here I highly recommend.

Margueritte our concierge, was wonderful helping with excursions. Sherma was so wonderful keeping the cottage clean and is a wonderful cook and gave us wonderful recommendations for dinner and things to do. Brian did a wonderful job keeping the pool clean. I couldn't thank these three enough for making our honey moon as great as they did. We can't wait to come back to the island!

Orchid Cottage was a romantic getaway. The pool was warm and delightful! The staff were wonderful! While the drive/driveway was a bit treacherous, it was well worth it. Close to do much. Wonderful restaurants. But the best of all, was waking up to INCREDIBLE views every morning, and sitting on the deck or in the pool every evening. Best trip ever!!

Orchid cottage was a very nice place to stay

The terrace was very nice, lots of patio furniture and a great gas barbecue! The view over the plain to the sea was also great, a nice breeze and the fantastic climate can be felt here. It was also quiet and very relaxing. The price for this is that nothing is within walking distance of the place, so you always need a car (jeep / SUV!)The POOl was quite small / more of a plunge pool but the water very nice and clean, the cooling very nice and welcome.However, the communication with Margueritte, the property manager, was quite disappointing: no personal hello, no goodbye, communication of the most necessary only via whatsapp but also here sparse or no answers to inquiries - that was very irritating - especially since the housekeeper Sherma and also Brian, the gardener were extremely (!) nice and service-oriented people.

Unfortunately we had to move places thru our stay bc the mosquitos were so bad. Also hard to enjoy the patio with the weather and bugs. The air conditioning is only in the bedroom and it was freezing with the door shut, but too muggy and buggy with the bedroom door open. We were unable to get refunded despite our request.

Unfortunately, due to my husband's illness we were unable to stay. However, throughout the booking process up until the day we were supposed to depart the property manager was communicated with him. Simply based off of that we highly recommend this property and the management team who were understanding of our situation.

Beautiful!

The cottage was adorable and has an amazing view. It is small but cozy, perfect for 2 people. The housekeeper comes twice a week so the place is always very clean. The only negative we experienced was the drive to the place. Google maps does not know how to route to it properly and kept taking us on dead ends and the roads thru the neighborhood are dirt and VERY bumpy and filled with potholes. You have to drive slow. Once we learned the proper route though it wasn't too bad, just be prepared. Otherwise the neighborhood itself felt very safe and it is only a 10 min drive to dearby shopping and food around Rodney Bay.

St Lucia 8 day Getaway

The setting of the property was stellar. The pool was perfect! Couldn't get my wife out of it. The kitchen was adequate. The bedroom is the only room with air conditioning. The toilet had a problem with leaking out the bottom seal. Manager responded quickly with a plumber that said that he couldn't fix it with us there. Real bummer. The property had odors at times and when I checked I saw that the septic tank has drain lines that are not underground, just draining down the property. Overall the people is what truly made this stay! Brian, Lucilla and Illtad were great!

This cottage is absolutely breathtaking! Such gorgeous views and a very peaceful area. The pool was very nice as well, overlooking Cap Estate which is the best view ever! There is AC & a fan in the bedroom and only a fan in the living room/kitchen area so that tends to be very warm, but if you leave the patio door open, you can get a nice cool breeze to circulate inside. I even used the BBQ grill outside which was was nice - (Brian the caretaker helped me with setting this up - he was very helpful and kind throughout my entire stay!) Be prepared for the bugs and flies, however you will be able to find bug spray in the cottage which you can use to spray the rooms to minimize the amount of bugs/flies, so I made sure to do that every day. All in all, I will say this place has a very romantic, private and serene tone to it which I think will be perfect and better suited for couples unless if you like the reclusiveness on your own then this will also be perfect for you :)
