Wonderful apartment in the heart of Little Venice

Welcome to our gîte “Aux petits cœurs de Colmar”! Ideally located, in the heart of Little Venice. You will visit all of Colmar on foot. Close to the wine route, Strasbourg, Basel for a taste and cultural experience. The Natural History Museum, Bartholdi Museum, Chocolate Museum and Unterlinden Museum are all less than 10 mins walk away.- Many activities for children nearby, flat boat ride , little tourist train, stork park, monkey mountain, little prince park, ecomuseum, europa park, castles ....-For sports enthusiasts, and nature lovers , you can do many mountain biking, hiking, biking, climbing and canoeing, golf and skiing 30 minutes away.- The cottage is accessible by car, no private parking, but public parking in the street. -As of March, a farandole of village festivals follow one another: peasant festival, sauerkraut festival, the Colmar wine fair and its music concerts, fiddler festival……The magic of the markets of Easter and Christmas, which has made our city famous for many years now and which amazes young and old.So much remains to be discovered…… don't hesitate to come back, the door “to the little hearts of Colmar” will always remain open for YOU!

Two days in Colmar

This was the perfect base for two of us to explore the beauty of Colmar. We highly recommend Madison Alexandre (Boulangerie,) Jadis & Gourmande (tea shop) and St Martin’s church.

Clean and ideal location

We stayed for 6 nights in Colmar, and so enjoyed our stay. Procedures are clearly laid out, communication with Katherine was easy, the apartment was SO clean and perfectly set up. You are within 2 minutes walking distance of anything and everything.

First impression - charming! I loved Colmar, the apartment is darling, the owner nice - went out of her way to pick me up from the train station which was a welcome relief. One of the main reasons I chose this apartment is because it is advertised as having airconditioning. Although it has air conditioning, this is only in the bedroom upstairs. The living area, kitchen and bathroom downstairs are NOT air conditioned. When I first arrived there from Germany, I thought it would be okay since it was actually chilly in Germany at times. But then the heat wave hit! Oh my gosh! 86 degrees and climbing in the apartment! Even with a fan going, I couldn't take it and finally lived out of the bedroom upstairs as much as possible sitting in front of the air conditioning unit and a fan. Also, be prepared to recycle everything and clean the place from top to bottom including sweeping, dusting and mopping, emptying water from coffee maker, leaving washer machine clean and open, climbing three flights of stairs to get to the apartment, going down into the cellar with your two different bags of trash - organic and non-recyclables - and then traipse across town to recycle any paper/cardboard in one bin and all bottles, cans in another. A heck of a lot of work for vacation, in other words. I sent a message to the owner suggesting that a second unit be installed on the main living level due to the unbearable conditions and since it is advertised as having air conditioning.

Leuk en schoon apartment met alles op loopafstand. De beschrijving op de site van Expedia klopt niet voor wat betreft de privé parking. Die is er niet, alleen betaald parkeren in de straat.

Beschreibung des Objetkes mangelhaft

Kein Hinweis , dass Wohnung in der 3.Etage und nur durch alte,ausgetretene und verwinkelte Treppe zu erreichen . Unzureichende Erläuterungen der techn. Geräte , nichts in deutscher Sprache obwohl viele deutsche Gäste. Nur ein einziges deutsches Fernsehprogramm , darauf auch kein Hinweis in der Beschreibung . Keine Filterkaffeemaschine , nur Kapselgerät-auch kein Hinweis in der Beschreibung . Die Beschreibung des Objetztes bezeichne ich als völlig unzureichend .

Schöner Wochenendbesuch

Ein liebevoll eingerichtetes kleines Appartement voller Details direkt in der Altstadt Colmars. Alles Wichtige ist sehr unkompliziert zu erreichen. Catherine und Philippe sind sehr freundliche, hilfsbereite und kinderliebe Gastgeber. Mein 2-jähriger Sohn und ich haben uns bei unserem Wochenendausflug sehr wohl und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Vielen Dank dafür - wir kommen gerne wieder!

Gute Lage um das Elsass zu erkunden

Die Wohnung liegt direkt in der Altstadt, alles (Einkauf, Bäcker,...) ist gut zu erreichen. Kontakt mit den Vermietern war sehr freundlich.

Appartement agréable à vivre et un équipement complet pour un confort parfait i

Nous avons trouvé enfin un appartement que nous recherchons depuis de nombreux vacances , il se trouve dans le centre touristique de Colmar l appartement est équipé de 2 ventilateurs et un climatiseur un lit à bébé un lit double et un canapé lit pour 2 personnes ,nous avons pu aller visiter la route du vin et les très jolies villages aux alentours, les différents producteurs locaux de vin .l europapark n est que 60km de la . Si vous désirez passer un moment hors de la frontière , la Suisse et l Allemagne se trouvent a proximité,enfin un petit bémol pour les personnes âgés, l appartement se situe a la dernier étage san s ascenseur.

Notre appartement est en effet très bien situé en plein cœur de la Petite Venise et Colmar est au centre de bien des distractions : la route des vins, les châteaux du ballon des Vosges, qui offre de nombreuses randonnées, Fribourg en Allemagne et Europapark, etc....

Sehr nett Dekoriertes Appartement

Wir waren zu zweit für 5 Nächte in diesem süßen Appartment. Alles war tip-top, wie auf den Bildern. Lage ist super zentral in der Innenstadt. Die Straße ist nachts sehr ruhig. Vermieterin war immer erreichbar und sehr freundlich. Ein Stern Abzug für den engen Parkplatz (nichts für große Autos...)

Un petit cocon !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Colmar. La ville est très jolie. Le logement " Les Petits Cœurs de Colmar" est un vrai petit cocon. Il est très bien placé. A quelques pas de l'hyper-centre et de la Petite Venise. Catherine est très accueillante. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir !
