Apartment Fiorita is located up on the first hill above Stresa (about 250 m) and has panoramic views over Lake Maggiore. It is surrounded by a large garden and is only 1 km (less than 10 minutes' walk, via a private footpath) from the bustling town centre of Stresa. It is 42 km from Milan-Malpensa airport. The location is very peaceful and quiet.

It is situated on the 2nd floor with a lift. The bright spacious living room has been stylishly furnished and has a comfortable pull-down double "Murphy" bed (this is a proper bed 190 x 160 cm and not a sofa bed), satellite television and fully-equipped open-plan kitchen (dishwasher, combi-microwave oven, kettle, toaster, electric coffee-machine etc). It opens out onto a balcony with table and chairs where you can eat outside and with panoramic views over Lake Maggiore.

The double bedroom (or twin-bedded room) is of a good size and, like the living-room, it too opens out onto a balcony and has a lake view. Bathroom with shower and bidet. There is a separate communal laundry room with washing-machine, tumble-dryer, iron etc.

Wi-Fi, air-conditioning and heating included in the price. Garage and parking (+ EV-charging point). On the balcony, you also have a power point to charge electric bikes.

Stresa makes a perfect base from which to explore the wonders of Lago Maggiore: hop on any ferry to discover the magic of the Borromeo Islands, the fascinating villas along the shore, the Piedmont towns of Arona and Intra and the picturesque town of Laveno nestled on the other side of the lake in Lombardy.

You can even take a full-day boat tour all the way up the lake to Switzerland (Ascona and Locarno). Stresa's railway station connects you easily with Milan, where you can shop, sightsee, or simply sip a coffee and watch the world go by in the famous Piazza del Duomo.

The price is based on 2 people; for any additional person, it is 15 Euros per night (+ VRBO commission). The apartment can sleep 4 people.

This place is amazing. The view is phenomenal, the place is impeccable, the bed is comfortable and everything is top-notch. It’s up on a hill above the main part of Stresa, about a 10 minute walk. You can’t go wrong renting this place.

We are a couple in our 60’s and this accomodation was perfect. Our initial concern regarding the walk up from the town was unfounded. The views, space and facilities of the apartment were great. Our host, Giuliano was exceptional. I’d recommended staying here just to have him as your host!

My husband and I spent a week in this Apartment. It was wonderful, we had convenient car parking and an immaculate apartment that is very well equipped. Wonderful!

Beautiful, bright, and airy apartment with gorgeous views of Lake Maggiore from the living room, bedroom, and spacious balcony. The apartment is perched on a hillside above town (maybe a 10 minute walk) and we enjoyed having a quiet retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the town center and waterfront areas. Check-in was easy and it was a pleasure dealing with all concerned. We'd happily rent here again!

We loved hanging out on the balcony and just staring at the beautiful lake and the view of the town below. It's an easy downhill walk to the town and you get to see places you'd miss if you were traveling by car. Guiliani gave us recommendations for restaurants that turned out to be valuable, and he helped us out in many other areas as well. The apartment is all that we expected and more. The train station is close and easy to get to his apartment, although I would suggest booking a taxi if you have luggage because of the hill.The view is outstanding and you are far enough away from the touristy area. I definitely recommend this stay and hope to be back one day.

Le point fort de cet appartement est bien-sûr une vue exceptionnelle sur le lac Majeur et les îles Borromées. Mais ce n'est pas tout : l'appartement est très propre, confortable et bien équipé, le balcon assez grand pour y manger confortablement à quatre personnes, la localisation est juste parfaite à 10-15 minutes à pied du centre ville, des nombreux restaurants et des plages.

Wir waren vom ganzen Aufenthalt begeistert. Die Wohnung ist wunderschön und sehr modern eingerichtet. Der Verwalter Giuliano ist sehr freundlich und stets hilfsbereit. Sensationell ist die Klimaanlage im Wohn- und Schlafzimmer. Bei den Temperaturen ein Segen. Die Küchenzeile ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man sich wünschen könnte. Wunderschöne Tage

Sehr saubere Wohnung mit unglaublich schönem Blick auf den Lago Maggiore und Stresa. Die Lage ist prima als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge oder einfach auch nur für Spaziergänge in Stresa. Das Zentrum von Stresa ist über viele Treppenstufen super schnell fußläufig zu erreichen- zugegeben zurück die Treppen hoch dauert etwas länger 😉. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wunderschöne Herbsttage!

Das Objekt ist in einer traumhaften Lage mit Blick über den Lago Maggiore. Man kann zu Fuß schnell in den Ort kommen und ist trotzdem in einer ruhigen Umgebung. Das Apartment war sehr gepflegt, schön eingerichtet und wir haben unsere Zeit dort genossen.

Urlaub wie man ihn sich wünscht

Wir hatten wunderschöne und erholsame Urlaubstage. Alles geschriebene hatte auch gestimmt. Eine perfekte Lage mit wunderschönen Ausblick von der Terrasse. Eine sehr schöne, geräumige, gut ausgestattete und moderne Wohnung und Haus. Vielleicht wäre irgenwann noch einen Pool in der Anlage möglich. Sehr guter Service im Haus. Der Hausmeister war jederzeit kompetent, hilfsbereit, sehr freundlich und direkt zur Stelle, wenn man ihn braucht. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.
