GOURDON en QUERCY, city classified '"Most beautiful detour in France"', welcomes you in the heart of the Périgord Noir, between the two valleys of the Lot and the Dordogne. A charming destination with multiple treasures.
In a very calm dead end, from the Medieval City of Gourdon,
you will stay in a simple house of 95 M² on 150 M² of enclosed garden facing south.
Located 15 and 30 minutes by car from Sarlat, Dome, Rocamadour, the Gouffre de Padirac, the Mongolfiades in September, the medieval castles, the beaches of the Dordogne, walks in the Gabarres or Canoes ... you can also relax after 10 or 15 minutes of walking, at the edge of the ponds "listen if it rains" renamed "the area of Bouriane" or the swimming pool discovered three steps from the house.

Maison agréable, fonctionnelle, il y a tout ce qu'il faut - une douche serait plus pratique qu'une baignoire -. Petit jardin clos, idéal pour notre teckel et tranquille. A proximité des commerces, Gourdon est un joli village. Belle région que nous n'avons pas pu visiter comme nous l'avions prévu à cause de la chaleur. Nous nous sommes rafraîchis dans la Dordogne et le gouffre de Padirac.

Séjour à Gourdon

Gîte correspondant à l’annonce et à nos attentes. Nous y avait passé un agréable séjour. Proche du centre avec ses commerces. Plein de choses à découvrir dans la région.

Maison familiale au calme

Maison familiale au calme, cachée dans une petite impasse, avec l'essentiel pour y passer un bon séjour. Nous avons apprécié la disponibilité de notre hôtesse qui a été très arrangeante. Petit lac tout proche très appréciable par temps de grandes chaleurs.

Bon repos sous le soleil

Le soleil et la chaleur nous ont permis de passer un très bon séjour à Gourdon. La maison est un peu vieillotte (conformément aux photos de l'annonce) mais, comme nous avons passé la majeure partie du temps dehors, cela n'avait pas trop d'importance. Pas de voisins du côté dégagé du jardin : tant mieux ! Elle est à la fois proche du centre ville et suffisamment éloignée pour ne pas subir trop de nuisances sonores dues à la circulation. Commerces de proximité accessibles à pied; sinon, voiture obligatoire. L'étang "Ecoute s'il pleut" est très bien agencé et très propre; compter 20 minutes à pied pour s'y rendre, en empruntant une route très passagère. Sinon, les bords de la Dordogne, à 30mn au plus près, sont très agréables , avec des plages aménagées. Gourdon est une ville très passagère avec beaucoup de circulation le jour; le soir, le calme revient; peut-être un peu trop; il faut aller à Sarlat pour voir de l'animation. Dans l'ensemble, nous sommes satisfaits.

Toujours ravie de contribuer à d'agréables séjour dans notre région. Une petite astuce pour aller aux étangs à pieds : au lieu de prendre la route en direction de Sarlat, rester sur le tour de ville à gauche, à quelques mêtres du magasin d'électroméager après le restaurant, toujours sur votre gauche, vous avez un chemin qui traverse les champs, en descendant à la serre, continuez ce chemin, il est bien dégagé, vous arriverez à l'étang de pêche. Une belle ballade...en toute sécurité....
