Great house! Friendly and helpful owners. Everything we needed - WiFi, dock for fishing, kayaks, paddle boards, great shower, full kitchen, comfy beds. Spent time doing a fishing charter out of Dockside Resort in Gay, took scenic drives to Eagle Harbor and River, Fitzgeralds for lunch, Fletchers Otter Belly for ice cream, FJ McLain State park, Shutes and Carmelitas in Calumet and of course Dreamland.
We had a great time even with awful weather. All the reviews are accurate. Lovely, clean home on a gorgeous lake. Lots of driving but its the Keewenaw - we expected that. So glad we stayed!
We loved this place! On a quiet road and beautiful lake. We enjoyed morning coffee on the deck and fishing off the dock in the evening. The perfect place to just escape for a few days.
Loved this cabin on the water for our couple’s trip. Lake is gorgeous! Tried a little fishing off the dock but no luck. Commutes to town take a little while, but the drives were beautiful. Thank you!
The property was a wonderful escape - we spent a week up here while my daughter was at MTU summer camp. The views are spectacular, the beds are comfy, there is plenty of space to spread out, and everything we needed was so close. The WiFi was strong enough for me to work remotely during the mornings, and the dock, deck, and couches were the perfect spots to spend the afternoon reading.
We were very pleased with these accommodations. The hosts were kind and responsive, the location was perfect for our needs, and the setting very peaceful. Simply put, it is a beautiful place and we’d stay again in a heartbeat!
Was in town for Michigan Tech winter carnival great place to stay would love to see the place in summer since it’s on the lake will definitely come there again
We love staying at this property. It’s right on the lake and has everything you need. The owners live next door and if you need anything or have questions they are happy to help.
Loved the property! Great view, quiet, and peaceful! House was very well maintained. Amazing shower! Would love to go again and would recommend to everyone.
The house was great. Clean, with lots of amenities and right on the water. Very nice large dock to fish off. The hosts were great and very prompt to answer any questions we had. Lots to see around the area and great restaurants. Bed was comfortable and the shower was nice as well. Definitely recommend.
Best sunset in the UP. We grew up spending our summers on the Portage lake , and it is still great.
