Everything about this property was fantastic. We celebrated my wife’s birthday with a large group of her friends and family. Each couple had their own room and restroom. We spent a fair amount of time out by the pool, which was fantastic and great for socializing. The host was great and very responsive.

Overall it was an amazing experience. It was really beneficial that the property has a full time property manager. We accidentally tripped the breaker, and getting help to get the pool and hot water heaters running again was seamless. Beautiful property with tons of amenities for our group. Highly recommend!

My husband and I plus 13 family members stayed at this property. We chose it because it was big enough for our family and was close to our son's wedding venue. The house is huge and provided numerous areas for eating, activities (swimming, walking, games), conversation, and gathering. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to host a large party with guests. The best attribute was the host, the on-site caretaker, and cleaning staff -- all were welcoming, friendly, and helpful.

Our group had such a wonderful time staying at Matthew’s property. It was so unique, beautiful, relaxing, and comfortable. There was ample space indoors and outdoors for the 12 people in our group, and we had such a wonderful time cooking in the extremely well stocked kitchen. The caretaker, David, was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

We enjoyed the property. As a large group, having a bathroom in every bedroom was such a relief. Lots of space available if you want to get away for a minute too. Although the hot tub was down, we were compensated without asking from the owner which I really appreciated.

Amazing property in middle of Amador Wine country. Plenty of space for everyone. pool area is clean fun filled for both adults and children. Kitchen is equipped with everything you may need plus more. Bedrooms are spacious with a good sized bathroom included in most. Plenty of perks. Caretaker was prompt and gracious if we needed anything. Host was responsive with any questions I had. We loved this property for our family reunion!!

We stayed at The Hidden Garden for a three night bachelorette celebration. It’s the perfect place for a relaxing weekend with friends. There was more than enough room for the 8 of us, the kitchen has pretty much any amenity you need with high end appliances. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful, amazing pool and hot tub! Great wineries right down the street. We didn’t want to leave! The owner and caretaker were very professional and accommodating. Would highly recommend this place for a quiet, relaxing getaway with friends and family. We will definitely be going back!

Perfect family weekend

Very cool property with a lot of beautiful land to walk around. The house is unique with a lot of character, and was perfect for our family trip. The pool is wonderful. Great amenities and friendly hosts who were very responsive and attentive. The location is especially perfect if you love wine tasting! Would absolutely come back.
