Coral Cottage - Gascoigne #27

Welcome to the newly updated Coral Cottage on St. Simons Island! Nestled in a lovely laid-back neighborhood, the Gascoigne Condominium Community is one of the first places you see as you arrive on St. Simons Island. We are glad you are here!

This two bedroom, one and 1/2 bath townhouse unit with almost 1,100 square feet is the perfect place for your St. Simons Island vacation. Enjoy the comfortable furnishings, hardwood floors, upgraded kitchen and bathrooms. The owners have made some fabulous renovations. Seating for six with plenty of room in the dining room.

Needing to get work done? There is a dedicated workspace for remote working.

There is a 75” LG Smart TV located in the living room for your viewing pleasure. Perfect for an occasional rainy beach movie day or sports viewing. Grab some popcorn and a blanket and enjoy! You are able to log in to your personal viewing apps and we recommend you log out upon leaving.

Upstairs, two bedrooms with queen beds await you and the full bathroom with a walk-in shower is located in-between. The sofa downstairs is a sleeper sofa if you need the maximum occupancy of six. Enjoy the large outside deck and green space for killing time on those lazy summer days.


At Gascoigne Condominiums, you will be near the beach, biking trails, the Pier and village area and this location has an easy on/off island location.

When returning from the beach enjoy the outside private shower and when you are not at the beach enjoy the community pool at the Gascoigne complex.

We are thrilled to provide 2 beach cruiser bikes for your use. We provide a bike pump and lock if needed. We also have plenty of chairs and beach “toys” for you to use during your visit.

*Please note there are several personal items located and locked up in the storage room (to the left) which are personal property of the owners. We kindly ask that you just leave these and enjoy ALL we have left to help make your visit to SSI beach enjoyable.*

• Starter Supply of Toilet Paper, Soap, Paper Towel and Trash Bags. Any additional supplies needed during tenancy will be the responsibility of the guest.

Great place for a week to relax

The property was as advertised and came with everything that you could need. Whether taking a trip to the beach or a night out on the pier this place is great for a much needed vacation and close to everything that St Simons has to offer.

Nice weekend stay

The location is ideal, within a few minute drive of all SSI has to offer. The unit was clean and had everything we needed for a vacation rental. I don’t know if I missed it listed but there was a keurig, so I wish I brought kcups. The only negatives, which aren’t dealbreakers were, having to go to the rental office to pick up keys instead of there being a code on the door. We were in traffic going from the rental company to the condo that took 20 mins - to go 1.5 miles. The second thing is when pulling into Gascoigne Complex, it was a bit underwhelming. The exterior is worn and dated and it seemed to be filled with renters who had bikes all over the place. Overall, if you’re looking for an affordable, cute, clean condo, in a good location - this is a great option. I just wouldn’t plan on being wow’ed when you pull in but the unit itself is cute and cozy.

This property worked fairly well for our family. Check in and check out were well organized and the property was clean and comfortable. I was hoping to be a little closer to the downtown/ beach areas. It never took long, but we did have to get in the car whenever we wanted to go anywhere.
