I’ve stayed at dozens of VRBOs and these hosts were top notch - friendly, organized, and communicative. :) (Thank you!!) The property decor was lovely, the high ceilings were great, kitchen was well stocked and the beds were cozy. A nice 10-min walk to the pier. Great rental!

Awesome stay!

Our stay at this condo was wonderful! Our hosts were very helpful and everything was clean. It looks exactly like the pictures. Loved the beach theme furnishings and decorations. It is walking distance to food and shops. I would absolutely recommend this condo and hosts!

The perfect getaway

We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay at this cute little condo! The layout is great, the furniture is comfortable, and the hosts are incredibly easy to communicate with. It was the perfect spot to hop around SSI shops and restaurants. We can't wait to book our next stay here!

Family Vacation

My family stayed here for a week in May. This property was very nice, and clean. The condo has everything you need for a comfortable stay while on vacation. The beds were comfortable, and the neighborhood is very quite. The owners/ property management is fantastic ! Super attentive, and made sure we had all the information we needed for a easy check-in , and stay. We will definitely return for another stay .

Peaceful community

Peaceful tides! It’s a perfect name for this small community of condos. Our second level unit was quiet, beautifully decorated, clean and had everything we needed for our three night stay on St. Simons Island . The hosts were attentive and communication was great! I would definitely stay here again!

Amazing condo near downtown

We've come to St. Simmons several times now and this by far has been the best place we stayed. Excellent location in gated community. Clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Everything was perfect and we just wished we had another couple fo days to stay. Easy walk to dowtown shopping and restaurants. Quiet area with friendly neighbors. Definitely recommend and we'll look to stay here again in the future. Cheers!

Guaranteed enjoyment

This property is beautiful, perfectly located, quiet, ultra convenient! You can’t go wrong here. Everything was so lovely, so clean, so comfy. Lots of space for relaxing with family. It is also very close to restaurants and shopping, although you would never know it once you enter the beautiful iron gate of the luscious community. Feels like you’re miles from civilization, when you’re seconds away.

We had a fabulous 4-night stay at Peaceful Tides. The location can’t be beat: quiet and restful, yet within easy walking distance to restaurants, pier, a beautiful park and of course the beach! Our hosts were very welcoming and the condo beautiful, pristine and very well appointed. We did not lack for anything and found ourselves enjoying relaxing inside in the hottest part of the day. We are no strangers to the loveliness of SSI but this is our first stay at Peaceful Tides and we will surely be back!

Absolutely lovely and cozy

Everything about this property is about the guests. From enough paper towels and toilet paper to cleaning f supplies to wipe down counters to laundry pods to wonderful linens, pillows and bedding to comfortable and beautiful furniture. These are owners who understand the needs and wants of a guest. The decor is just beautiful. Easy check in and out. One could walk easily to town or a very quick drive. Stay at public beach 5 for closest best (no restrooms or Coast Guard Station). This was our first time on the island and I highly recommend the tent company to set up a spot on any beach. No lugging a bunch of stuff and not worried about tons of sand. We simply loved this condo and hopefully will stay again. Jim was super interactive with information and we were thankful to find such amazing hosts. Thank you for making our first stay at SSI perfect.

Perfect Birthday Weekend

We loved everything about this condo. The location is excellent, walking distance to the restaurants and shops. My husband liked the covered parking! The condo was immaculate and had everything we needed (and more). It’s beautifully decorated and the owners were wonderful. We’re already trying to plan a return trip. If I could give more stars, I would! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Great time in St. Simon's

We loved our stay at Peaceful Tides. The unit itself is very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked, all the furniture comfortable and the decor lovely. The gated community is very quiet and peaceful. We did make use of the tennis courts a few times. A quick walk through a pretty neighborhood to the pier area with some great restaurants and access to the beach. Finally, communication with the owners was wonderful. Very responsive to all my questions and went out of their way to research things for us. Can't wait to come back next year!

We so enjoyed our stay at Peaceful Tides!! The condo is decorated so beautifully & with all the amenities you could possibly need. It's also quite spacious with comfortable seating and comfortable beds. It's such a nice, quiet, peaceful neighborhood with a really nice pool! And so close to the Pier, Lighthouse and so many great restaurants! The hosts Jim and Lee were always quick to reply to any questions we had. Check in and check out couldn't have been any easier. I would definitely recommend this place if you're visiting SSI. Peaceful Tides will surely be the first place I check for availability on any future trips to St Simon's!

Fantastic place!

The place was just perfect! It had everything we needed, was super clean, and in a great location. The pier, shops, and lighthouse were a short walk away. East Beach was only an 8 min drive away and there is a grocery store close by also. We ate at a few of the restaurants nearby, but also took advantage of the fully stocked kitchen, which had every pan and utensil you could need. Definitely a great place to stay!!

Perfect tranquil getaway

We loved Jim and Lee's place -- it was clean, well-appointed, and loved that we could bring our pup! The location is perfect, right near the village, a park, and the beach. We rented a golf cart and loved being so close to everything. It was Memorial Day weekend and even still, nothing was too overcrowded -- I kept remarking that St. Simons is the quietest beach I've been to. Thanks for a great stay!

Golf trip

Great location for our golf coaches to stay for our high school golf state tournament. Owners kept us informed and even able to check-in early once the cleaners were done. Great hosts!

My wife and I live north of Atlanta, we visited a few times and we fell in love with St. Simons Island. Our favorite location was Harbour Oaks - We purchased our condo in 2023 and we hope you and your family will be able to enjoy it as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

We wanted to be as close to the village as possible. Harbour Oaks was our favorite complex because it was steps from the village, gated, peaceful and very private.

What makes this property unique

The previous owners had done an amazing job completely updating the condo. The kitchen has been opened up to the dining and living areas, it also provides new appliances and a granite bar for extra dining. It took us a while to settle on a name - but the word we heard from everyone who visited was "peaceful" - So we love the name "Peaceful Tides".
